Mnogi od nas kada žele izgubiti koji kilogram odluče kako više neće jesti večeru.

Međutim, preskakanje jednog od triju standardnih dnevnih obroka može imati ozbiljne zdravstvene posljedice, pokazala je nova američka studija.

Istraživanje u kojemu je sudjelovalo 24.011 Amerikanaca starijih od 40 godina pokazalo je da je samo jedan obrok dnevno općenito povezan s većim mortalitetom, prenosi portal Science Alert.

Preskakanje doručka povezano je većim rizikom od smrti od kardiovaskularnih bolesti, a preskakanje ručka ili večere s većim mortalitetom od svih uzroka.

Problem je uočen i kada su posrijedi sva tri obroka, ako su preblizu jedan drugome. Razmak od 4,5 sata među obrocima također nosi veći rizik od smrti od svih uzroka.

-Naše je istraživanje otkrilo kako je vjerojatnije da će osobe koje jedu samo jednom dnevno prije umrijeti od onih koji jedu više puta u danu, kazao je Yangbo Sun, epidemiolog sa Sveučilišta Tennessee.

Studija nije imala dovoljan obuhvat kako bi se utvrdila uzročno posljedična veza između preskakanja obroka i preuranjene smrti, ali već je i poveznica dovoljna za daljnje istraživanje, napominju autori.

Međutim, preskakanje jednog od triju standardnih dnevnih obroka može imati ozbiljne zdravstvene posljedice, pokazala je nova američka studija.

Istraživanje u kojemu je sudjelovalo 24.011 Amerikanaca starijih od 40 godina pokazalo je da je samo jedan obrok dnevno općenito povezan s većim mortalitetom, prenosi portal Science Alert.

Preskakanje doručka povezano je većim rizikom od smrti od kardiovaskularnih bolesti, a preskakanje ručka ili večere s većim mortalitetom od svih uzroka.

Problem je uočen i kada su posrijedi sva tri obroka, ako su preblizu jedan drugome. Razmak od 4,5 sata među obrocima također nosi veći rizik od smrti od svih uzroka.

-Naše je istraživanje otkrilo kako je vjerojatnije da će osobe koje jedu samo jednom dnevno prije umrijeti od onih koji jedu više puta u danu, kazao je Yangbo Sun, epidemiolog sa Sveučilišta Tennessee.

Studija nije imala dovoljan obuhvat kako bi se utvrdila uzročno posljedična veza između preskakanja obroka i preuranjene smrti, ali već je i poveznica dovoljna za daljnje istraživanje, napominju autori.
