Zdravstveni dužnosnici priopćili su da istražuju neobjašnjive slučajeve hepatitisa kod djece u nekoliko europskih zemalja i Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Slučajevi hepatitisa - upale jetre zabilježeni su kod djece u Danskoj, Irskoj, Nizozemskoj i Španjolskoj. Prošli tjedan zdravstvene vlasti u Velikoj Britaniji priopćile su da su uočile veći broj slučajeva kod djece nego što je to uobičajeno. Uzrok još nije poznat.

Europski centar za kontrolu bolesti (ECDS) nije precizirao koliko je slučajeva ukupno registrirao u četiri spomenute države. Ali je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (SZO) priopćila da je u Irskoj bilo pet slučajeva, a u Španjolskoj tri. U priopćenju SZO se navodi kako se može očekivati da u idućim danima bude registrirano još slučajeva. Istrage o uzroku zaražavanja hepatitisom su pokrenute u svim europskom državama gdje su se pojavili slučajevi, priopćio je ECDS, piše BBC.

U američkoj saveznoj državi Alabami zdravstvene institucije priopćile su da je hepatitisom zaraženo devetoro djece mlađe od šest godina, a od toga će dvoje morati ići na tranpslantaciju jetre. Pokrenute su istrage o sličnim slučajevima i u drugim saveznim državama u Americi. U Velikoj Britaniji su do sada prijavljena 74 slučaja.

Prošli tjedan Agencija za zdravstvenu sigurnost Velike Britanije priopćila je da uobičajeni virusi koji izazivaju zarazni hepatitis (od hepatitisa A do E) nisu pronađeni među slučajevima registriranim u toj zemlji.

Zato je pokrenuta istraga o drugim mogućim uzrocima zaraze. Vjeruje se da bi uzrok mogao biti jedan od češćih adenovirusa. Riječ je o virusima koji obično izazivaju različite blaža zdravstvena stanja poput prehlada, povraćanja i dijareje. Nadležni u Britaniji dodali su, međutim, da se istražuju i drugi mogući uzroci zaraze, a ne isključuje se ni Covid-19. Dodaje se da u ovom trenutku ne postoji očigledna veza sa cjepivima protiv koronavirusa.

Što je hepatitis? To je širok pojam koji se koristi da se opiše upala jetre. Obično je to posljedica virusne infekcije, ali može ga izazvati i izloženost nekim kemikalijama, pretjerana upotreba alkohola, droge, ali i određeni genetski poremećaji.

Postoji pet glavnih tipova hepatitisa koje izazivaju određeni virusi - poznati su kao A, B, C, D i E. Ali djeluje da nijedan od njih nije izazvao upale jetre koje su zabilježene kod djece. Neki tipovi hepatitisa mogu proći bez ozbiljnih problema, a drugi ostavljaju dugotrajne posljedice. Britanske zdravstvene vlasti priopćile su da bi roditelji trebali obratiti pažnju na simptome kao što je žutica, piše BBC.

Zdravstveni dužnosnici priopćili su da istražuju neobjašnjive slučajeve hepatitisa kod djece u nekoliko europskih zemalja i Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Slučajevi hepatitisa - upale jetre zabilježeni su kod djece u Danskoj, Irskoj, Nizozemskoj i Španjolskoj. Prošli tjedan zdravstvene vlasti u Velikoj Britaniji priopćile su da su uočile veći broj slučajeva kod djece nego što je to uobičajeno. Uzrok još nije poznat.

Europski centar za kontrolu bolesti (ECDS) nije precizirao koliko je slučajeva ukupno registrirao u četiri spomenute države. Ali je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (SZO) priopćila da je u Irskoj bilo pet slučajeva, a u Španjolskoj tri. U priopćenju SZO se navodi kako se može očekivati da u idućim danima bude registrirano još slučajeva. Istrage o uzroku zaražavanja hepatitisom su pokrenute u svim europskom državama gdje su se pojavili slučajevi, priopćio je ECDS, piše BBC.

U američkoj saveznoj državi Alabami zdravstvene institucije priopćile su da je hepatitisom zaraženo devetoro djece mlađe od šest godina, a od toga će dvoje morati ići na tranpslantaciju jetre. Pokrenute su istrage o sličnim slučajevima i u drugim saveznim državama u Americi. U Velikoj Britaniji su do sada prijavljena 74 slučaja.

Prošli tjedan Agencija za zdravstvenu sigurnost Velike Britanije priopćila je da uobičajeni virusi koji izazivaju zarazni hepatitis (od hepatitisa A do E) nisu pronađeni među slučajevima registriranim u toj zemlji.

Zato je pokrenuta istraga o drugim mogućim uzrocima zaraze. Vjeruje se da bi uzrok mogao biti jedan od češćih adenovirusa. Riječ je o virusima koji obično izazivaju različite blaža zdravstvena stanja poput prehlada, povraćanja i dijareje. Nadležni u Britaniji dodali su, međutim, da se istražuju i drugi mogući uzroci zaraze, a ne isključuje se ni Covid-19. Dodaje se da u ovom trenutku ne postoji očigledna veza sa cjepivima protiv koronavirusa.

Što je hepatitis? To je širok pojam koji se koristi da se opiše upala jetre. Obično je to posljedica virusne infekcije, ali može ga izazvati i izloženost nekim kemikalijama, pretjerana upotreba alkohola, droge, ali i određeni genetski poremećaji.

Postoji pet glavnih tipova hepatitisa koje izazivaju određeni virusi - poznati su kao A, B, C, D i E. Ali djeluje da nijedan od njih nije izazvao upale jetre koje su zabilježene kod djece. Neki tipovi hepatitisa mogu proći bez ozbiljnih problema, a drugi ostavljaju dugotrajne posljedice. Britanske zdravstvene vlasti priopćile su da bi roditelji trebali obratiti pažnju na simptome kao što je žutica, piše BBC.
