Koliko hrana koja je dugo stajala izvan hladnjaka, pri čemu može biti riječi o samo nekoliko sati, može biti opasna, pokazuje slučaj 20-godišnjega studenta AJ.
On je ostatke tjestenine ostavio na sobnoj temperaturi da bi ih pet dana poslije podgrijao i pojeo. Potom je otišao s prijateljima, no ubrzo se vratio kući osjećajući se loše. Najprije je imao glavobolju i bolio ga je trbuh, a potom su se simptomi pogoršali te su uključivali povraćanje i proljev. AJ je odlučio pokušati prespavati svoje tegobe, no sljedećeg dana, deset sati nakon obroka, pronađen je mrtav, piše Mirror , prenosi N1 .
Obdukcija je pokazala da je student preminuo od trovanja hranom uzrokovanim bakterijom "bacilus cereus", čije spore razvijaju toksine koji izazivaju povraćanje i proljev. Kako bi si olakšao stanje, AJ je pio velike količine vode, što je samo pogoršalo situaciju.
U njegovu slučaju fatalna je bila upravo kombinacija gore spomenute bakterije koja je uzrokovala hipoglikemiju, te aspirina iz lijeka za bol u trbuhu koji je popio prije spavanja. Uparivanje je djelovalo fatalno na jetru pacijenta kojem bi jedino transplatacija pomogla da preživi.
Nakon podrobnih istraživanja ovog tragičnog slučaja, utvrdilo se i da je pojedena hrana bila toliko "otrovna" da je uslijedilo potpuno gašenje funkcija jetre. Iako je smrt nastupila još 2008., slučaj se ponovno pokrenuo kada je objavljen detaljan prikaz kemijskih procesa koji su se odvili u tijelu nesretnog mladića, piše N1 .

Iz Mayo klinike pišu da hrana može "trajati" u hladnjaku 3-4 dana. Na sobnoj temperaturi, u tek nekoliko sati mogu se razviti opasne bakterija. Ako niste planirali pojesti hranu u roku od četiri dana, zamrznite je odmah, u protivnom biste se mogli otrovati hranom.

Koliko hrana koja je dugo stajala izvan hladnjaka, pri čemu može biti riječi o samo nekoliko sati, može biti opasna, pokazuje slučaj 20-godišnjega studenta AJ.
On je ostatke tjestenine ostavio na sobnoj temperaturi da bi ih pet dana poslije podgrijao i pojeo. Potom je otišao s prijateljima, no ubrzo se vratio kući osjećajući se loše. Najprije je imao glavobolju i bolio ga je trbuh, a potom su se simptomi pogoršali te su uključivali povraćanje i proljev. AJ je odlučio pokušati prespavati svoje tegobe, no sljedećeg dana, deset sati nakon obroka, pronađen je mrtav, piše Mirror , prenosi N1 .
Obdukcija je pokazala da je student preminuo od trovanja hranom uzrokovanim bakterijom "bacilus cereus", čije spore razvijaju toksine koji izazivaju povraćanje i proljev. Kako bi si olakšao stanje, AJ je pio velike količine vode, što je samo pogoršalo situaciju.
U njegovu slučaju fatalna je bila upravo kombinacija gore spomenute bakterije koja je uzrokovala hipoglikemiju, te aspirina iz lijeka za bol u trbuhu koji je popio prije spavanja. Uparivanje je djelovalo fatalno na jetru pacijenta kojem bi jedino transplatacija pomogla da preživi.
Nakon podrobnih istraživanja ovog tragičnog slučaja, utvrdilo se i da je pojedena hrana bila toliko "otrovna" da je uslijedilo potpuno gašenje funkcija jetre. Iako je smrt nastupila još 2008., slučaj se ponovno pokrenuo kada je objavljen detaljan prikaz kemijskih procesa koji su se odvili u tijelu nesretnog mladića, piše N1 .

Iz Mayo klinike pišu da hrana može "trajati" u hladnjaku 3-4 dana. Na sobnoj temperaturi, u tek nekoliko sati mogu se razviti opasne bakterija. Ako niste planirali pojesti hranu u roku od četiri dana, zamrznite je odmah, u protivnom biste se mogli otrovati hranom.
Dr. Bernard, koji je na YouTubeu opisao slučaj preminulog studenta, savjetuje: "Ako hrana čudno miriše, uvijek je bolje biti siguran nego žaliti."
