Nedavna studija, objavljena u World Journal of Psychiatry, za cilj je imala istražiti koja hrana sadrži najviše hranjivih tvari za koje je znanstvena literatura pokazala da igraju važnu ulogu u promicanju oporavka od depresivnih poremećaja te u njihovu sprječavanju, odnosno, kraće rečeno, da djeluju antidepresivno.

Pokazalo se da se dvanaest hranjivih tvari odnosi na prevenciju i liječenje depresivnih poremećaja: folati, željezo, dugolančane omega-3 masne kiseline, magnezij, kalij, selen, tiamin, vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C i cink.

U hranu u kojoj ima najviše "antidepresiva" spadaju školjke s dvije ljušture, na primjer kamenice i dagnje, razne druge vrste hrane iz mora, te organsko meso.

Što se biljne hrane tiče, najviše ocjene, odnosno najviše utvrđene količine spomenutih tvari koje funkcioniraju kao antidepresivi, ima lisnato povrće, zelena salata, blitva, matovilac, špinat, rikola itd., zatim kupusnjače – brokula, kaul, kelj..., te paprike.

Znanstvenici koji su se bavili ovim istraživanjem smatraju da bi popis 12 antidepresivnih sastojaka te namirnica koje ih sadrže trebalo razmatrati u izradi budućih intervencijskih studija i dijetetičkih opcija kao podršku prevenciji i oporavku od depresivnih poremećaja.

Nedavna studija, objavljena u World Journal of Psychiatry, za cilj je imala istražiti koja hrana sadrži najviše hranjivih tvari za koje je znanstvena literatura pokazala da igraju važnu ulogu u promicanju oporavka od depresivnih poremećaja te u njihovu sprječavanju, odnosno, kraće rečeno, da djeluju antidepresivno.

Pokazalo se da se dvanaest hranjivih tvari odnosi na prevenciju i liječenje depresivnih poremećaja: folati, željezo, dugolančane omega-3 masne kiseline, magnezij, kalij, selen, tiamin, vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C i cink.

U hranu u kojoj ima najviše "antidepresiva" spadaju školjke s dvije ljušture, na primjer kamenice i dagnje, razne druge vrste hrane iz mora, te organsko meso.

Što se biljne hrane tiče, najviše ocjene, odnosno najviše utvrđene količine spomenutih tvari koje funkcioniraju kao antidepresivi, ima lisnato povrće, zelena salata, blitva, matovilac, špinat, rikola itd., zatim kupusnjače – brokula, kaul, kelj..., te paprike.

Znanstvenici koji su se bavili ovim istraživanjem smatraju da bi popis 12 antidepresivnih sastojaka te namirnica koje ih sadrže trebalo razmatrati u izradi budućih intervencijskih studija i dijetetičkih opcija kao podršku prevenciji i oporavku od depresivnih poremećaja.
