I tako, čuli ste da je puno bolje umjesto kave ujutro popiti šalicu čaja. Po mogućnosti zelenog ili bijelog. Pa ste ih nabavili. Ili su vam možda draži malo jači čajevi, poput crnog ili slavnog earl greya?
Možda kamilica, da vam dan započne smireno, u zen raspoloženju? Koji god da je vaš izbor čaja, vrlo je moguće da za svoje zdravlje radite više štete nego koristi ako ga kupujete u vrećicama.
Prema istraživanju kanadskih znanstvenika čiji su rezultati objavljeni na web stranici The journal of Environmental Science and Technology, vrećice čaja pune su opasne mikroplastike koja se pod djelovanjem vruće vode otapa i otpušta u napitak.
Kako su utvrdili znanstvenici sa sveučilišta McGill University, samo jedna vrećica čaja sadrži na milijarde čestica mikroplastike. Hoćete preciznije? U šalici vrele vode (95 stupnjeva, eto i precizno) u koju je potopljena vrećica čaja (ne navode kojeg okusa) pronađeno je točno 11,6 milijardi čestica mikroplastike te još i 3,1 milijarda čestica još sitnije nanoplastike.
Rezultati studije zapanjili su znanstvenike jer daleko premašuju pretpostavljene vrijednosti mikroplastike koju prosječna osoba konzumira i to ne u jednom danu nego u godini.
Zanima vas što radi mikro i nanoplastika nakon što dospije u vaš želudac? Prema istraživanju provedenom na Vellore Institute of Technology, može se zaglaviti u probavnom sustavu, osobito u stijenkama crijeva, ili dospjeti u krv, odakle slobodn o putuje do različitih organa.
Drugo je istraživanje, obavljeno na sveučilištu University of Exeter u urinu ispitanika utvrdilo povišene razine kemikalije BPA (Bisphenol A), kemikalije koja se koristi u proizvodnji plastične ambalaže, a nedavno je mikroplastika po prvi put nađena i u uzorcima stolice.
BPA i drugi kem ijski spojevi iz plastike već se niz godina smatraju odgovornima za nastanak niza teških oboljenja živčanog i imunosnog sustava, a vjeruje se i da narušavaju ravnotežu hormona.
Vaše su vrećice čaja od prirodnih materijala, kažete? Promislite ponovno: premda su vrećice pamučne, papirnate ili od drugog prirodnog materijala, često su spojevi na njima zalijepljeni uz pomoć plastike. Ipak, ne odustajte od čajeva. Samo ih kupujte 'refužo'.

I tako, čuli ste da je puno bolje umjesto kave ujutro popiti šalicu čaja. Po mogućnosti zelenog ili bijelog. Pa ste ih nabavili. Ili su vam možda draži malo jači čajevi, poput crnog ili slavnog earl greya?
Možda kamilica, da vam dan započne smireno, u zen raspoloženju? Koji god da je vaš izbor čaja, vrlo je moguće da za svoje zdravlje radite više štete nego koristi ako ga kupujete u vrećicama.
Prema istraživanju kanadskih znanstvenika čiji su rezultati objavljeni na web stranici The journal of Environmental Science and Technology, vrećice čaja pune su opasne mikroplastike koja se pod djelovanjem vruće vode otapa i otpušta u napitak.
Kako su utvrdili znanstvenici sa sveučilišta McGill University, samo jedna vrećica čaja sadrži na milijarde čestica mikroplastike. Hoćete preciznije? U šalici vrele vode (95 stupnjeva, eto i precizno) u koju je potopljena vrećica čaja (ne navode kojeg okusa) pronađeno je točno 11,6 milijardi čestica mikroplastike te još i 3,1 milijarda čestica još sitnije nanoplastike.
Rezultati studije zapanjili su znanstvenike jer daleko premašuju pretpostavljene vrijednosti mikroplastike koju prosječna osoba konzumira i to ne u jednom danu nego u godini.
Zanima vas što radi mikro i nanoplastika nakon što dospije u vaš želudac? Prema istraživanju provedenom na Vellore Institute of Technology, može se zaglaviti u probavnom sustavu, osobito u stijenkama crijeva, ili dospjeti u krv, odakle slobodn o putuje do različitih organa.
Drugo je istraživanje, obavljeno na sveučilištu University of Exeter u urinu ispitanika utvrdilo povišene razine kemikalije BPA (Bisphenol A), kemikalije koja se koristi u proizvodnji plastične ambalaže, a nedavno je mikroplastika po prvi put nađena i u uzorcima stolice.
BPA i drugi kem ijski spojevi iz plastike već se niz godina smatraju odgovornima za nastanak niza teških oboljenja živčanog i imunosnog sustava, a vjeruje se i da narušavaju ravnotežu hormona.
Vaše su vrećice čaja od prirodnih materijala, kažete? Promislite ponovno: premda su vrećice pamučne, papirnate ili od drugog prirodnog materijala, često su spojevi na njima zalijepljeni uz pomoć plastike. Ipak, ne odustajte od čajeva. Samo ih kupujte 'refužo'.
