Sve je više debelih ljudi u Hrvatskoj. Štoviše, naši su muškarci najdeblji u Europi, upozorava portal Zdravlje. 

- Debljina nije samo estetski problem, nego i zdravstveni. To je jedan od glavnih čimbenika rizika šećerne bolesti, ateroskleroze koja dovodi do kardiovaskularne bolesti, a nažalost i do zatajenja srca - upozorila je doktorica Jozica Šikić na virtualnoj edukaciji 'Muskels donosi sreću'.

Liječnica poručuje da znatno veći broj pacijenata dolazi kardiologu nego endokrinologu te da je vrijeme da se sve veći fokus stavi na preventivnu kardiologiju. U takvoj klinici pacijente bi na raspolaganju bili preventivni kardiolog, nutricionist, psiholog, kardiometabolička sestra, farmakolog, rehabilitacija i vježba.

Doktorica Ana Marija Liberati Pršo svakodnevno se bori s pretilošću u klinikama, ali još uvijek se često pretilost ne vodi kao dijagnoza.

– Vidimo kako već jedan običan BMI (indeks tjelesne mase) može klasificirati naše bolesnike i u stupanj pretilosti, a samim time i u stupanj kardiovaskularnog rizika, navodi liječnica.

Opseg struka i bokova itekako je snažan prediktor kardiovaskularnih rizika. Za hrvatsku populaciju vrijedi pravilo - 94 centimetra za mušarce i 80 centimetara opseg struka za žene, piše Zdravlje.

Sve je više debelih ljudi u Hrvatskoj. Štoviše, naši su muškarci najdeblji u Europi, upozorava portal Zdravlje. 

- Debljina nije samo estetski problem, nego i zdravstveni. To je jedan od glavnih čimbenika rizika šećerne bolesti, ateroskleroze koja dovodi do kardiovaskularne bolesti, a nažalost i do zatajenja srca - upozorila je doktorica Jozica Šikić na virtualnoj edukaciji 'Muskels donosi sreću'.

Liječnica poručuje da znatno veći broj pacijenata dolazi kardiologu nego endokrinologu te da je vrijeme da se sve veći fokus stavi na preventivnu kardiologiju. U takvoj klinici pacijente bi na raspolaganju bili preventivni kardiolog, nutricionist, psiholog, kardiometabolička sestra, farmakolog, rehabilitacija i vježba.

Doktorica Ana Marija Liberati Pršo svakodnevno se bori s pretilošću u klinikama, ali još uvijek se često pretilost ne vodi kao dijagnoza.

– Vidimo kako već jedan običan BMI (indeks tjelesne mase) može klasificirati naše bolesnike i u stupanj pretilosti, a samim time i u stupanj kardiovaskularnog rizika, navodi liječnica.

Opseg struka i bokova itekako je snažan prediktor kardiovaskularnih rizika. Za hrvatsku populaciju vrijedi pravilo - 94 centimetra za mušarce i 80 centimetara opseg struka za žene, piše Zdravlje.

Sve je više debelih ljudi u Hrvatskoj. Štoviše, naši su muškarci najdeblji u Europi, upozorava portal Zdravlje. 

- Debljina nije samo estetski problem, nego i zdravstveni. To je jedan od glavnih čimbenika rizika šećerne bolesti, ateroskleroze koja dovodi do kardiovaskularne bolesti, a nažalost i do zatajenja srca - upozorila je doktorica Jozica Šikić na virtualnoj edukaciji 'Muskels donosi sreću'.

Liječnica poručuje da znatno veći broj pacijenata dolazi kardiologu nego endokrinologu te da je vrijeme da se sve veći fokus stavi na preventivnu kardiologiju. U takvoj klinici pacijente bi na raspolaganju bili preventivni kardiolog, nutricionist, psiholog, kardiometabolička sestra, farmakolog, rehabilitacija i vježba.
