Anksioznost bi trebala dobiti važnije mjesto u istraživanjima mentalnog zdravlja jer je ona puno češća nego se misli, kaže globalna analiza posvećena tom poremećaju.
Znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta u Cambridgu kažu da su posebno pogođene žene, mladi ispod 35 godina te osobe s kroničnim zdravstvenih problemima. Oni procjenjuju da se globalno četiri posto ljudi borbi s tjeskobom.
Njihova analiza također kaže da su potrebna dodatna istraživanja kako bi se utvrdilo koje su još skupine pod povećanim rizikom.
Objavljena u časopisu Brain and Behavior, globalna analiza 48 studija pokazala je da je više od 60 milijuna ljudi pogođeno anksioznim poremećajem svake godine u EU-u.
Sjeverna Amerika je najpogođenija, tamo osam posto ljudi ima anksiozni poremećaj, a najmanje istočna Azija gdje ih je tri posto.
Iako je stopa pogođenosti tim poremećajem uglavnom stabilna kroz posljednjih dvadesetak godina, autori kažu da je to problem koji se rijetko istražuje, za razliku od depresije.
Anksioznost je stalni osjećaj brige, straha i nelagode koji traje dulje vremena i utječe na svakodnevni život pojedinca. Na tjelesnoj razini mogu ga pratiti podizanje krvnog tlaka, osjećaj mučnine i poremećaji sna.
Žene su dvaput pogođenije od muškaraca, vjerojatno zbog hormonskih promjena, zbog veće izloženosti stresu ili tradicionalne brige za djecu.
Ljudi s kroničnim bolestima posebna su rizična skupina. Primjerice, 32 posto ljudi s multiplom sklerozom ima anksiozni poremećaj, kao i 15 do 23 posto pacijenata oboljelih od raka.
Trudnice pred porođaj te žene koje su netom rodile posebno su izložene jednom od oblika anksioznog poremećaja, opsesivno-kompulzivnom poremećaju.

Anksioznost bi trebala dobiti važnije mjesto u istraživanjima mentalnog zdravlja jer je ona puno češća nego se misli, kaže globalna analiza posvećena tom poremećaju.
Znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta u Cambridgu kažu da su posebno pogođene žene, mladi ispod 35 godina te osobe s kroničnim zdravstvenih problemima. Oni procjenjuju da se globalno četiri posto ljudi borbi s tjeskobom.
Njihova analiza također kaže da su potrebna dodatna istraživanja kako bi se utvrdilo koje su još skupine pod povećanim rizikom.
Objavljena u časopisu Brain and Behavior, globalna analiza 48 studija pokazala je da je više od 60 milijuna ljudi pogođeno anksioznim poremećajem svake godine u EU-u.
Sjeverna Amerika je najpogođenija, tamo osam posto ljudi ima anksiozni poremećaj, a najmanje istočna Azija gdje ih je tri posto.
Iako je stopa pogođenosti tim poremećajem uglavnom stabilna kroz posljednjih dvadesetak godina, autori kažu da je to problem koji se rijetko istražuje, za razliku od depresije.
Anksioznost je stalni osjećaj brige, straha i nelagode koji traje dulje vremena i utječe na svakodnevni život pojedinca. Na tjelesnoj razini mogu ga pratiti podizanje krvnog tlaka, osjećaj mučnine i poremećaji sna.
Žene su dvaput pogođenije od muškaraca, vjerojatno zbog hormonskih promjena, zbog veće izloženosti stresu ili tradicionalne brige za djecu.
Ljudi s kroničnim bolestima posebna su rizična skupina. Primjerice, 32 posto ljudi s multiplom sklerozom ima anksiozni poremećaj, kao i 15 do 23 posto pacijenata oboljelih od raka.
Trudnice pred porođaj te žene koje su netom rodile posebno su izložene jednom od oblika anksioznog poremećaja, opsesivno-kompulzivnom poremećaju.
