Dakako, grizenje i grebanje važan su dio u razvoju mačića, jer su oni, na posljetku, njihovi načini obrane od neprijatelja kao i način za hvatanje plijena u prirodi, kao i oblik igre.
Stoga bi vlasnici u dresuri svoga kućnog ljubimca, kao jednu od prvih lekcija, trebali naučiti mačku kako njihove ruke nisu igračke, u protivnom će na njima stalno nositi “ožiljke igre”.
Ono što možete napraviti u prevenciji jest redovito šišati mačje kandže, dok će se neki vlasnici možda odlučiti i za mnogo radikalniju varijantu - operativno uklanjanje istih.
No takva se odluka istinskim ljubiteljima životinja može činiti moralno upitnom. Radije mačku odgojite da se ponaša drukčije, primjerice, snažnim uzvikom dajte joj do znanja da vas to boli, odnosno da vam to nije zabavno. Imitirajući način kako majka mačka odgaja, odnosno “ukorava” svoje mlade, možete neposlušnu macu, koja vas grebe ili grize, uhvatiti za vrat i lagano je pritisnuti prema tlu te je u takvom položaju držati nekoliko sekundi.
Treneri životinja tvrde kako će to biti lekcija od koje će se maca lako oporaviti, ali koju će isto tako dugo pamtiti, što će imati efekt sprječavanja daljnjega grizenja ili grebanja.
Mačka vas može grebati i ako joj je dosadno pa se upustite u igru s njom, ali koristeći neku igračku.
Ako, pak, vaša inače mirna maca odjednom postane “agresivna”, svakako je odvedite veterinaru jer je moguće da vam samo želi poručiti da je bolesna.

Dakako, grizenje i grebanje važan su dio u razvoju mačića, jer su oni, na posljetku, njihovi načini obrane od neprijatelja kao i način za hvatanje plijena u prirodi, kao i oblik igre.
Stoga bi vlasnici u dresuri svoga kućnog ljubimca, kao jednu od prvih lekcija, trebali naučiti mačku kako njihove ruke nisu igračke, u protivnom će na njima stalno nositi “ožiljke igre”.
Ono što možete napraviti u prevenciji jest redovito šišati mačje kandže, dok će se neki vlasnici možda odlučiti i za mnogo radikalniju varijantu - operativno uklanjanje istih.
No takva se odluka istinskim ljubiteljima životinja može činiti moralno upitnom. Radije mačku odgojite da se ponaša drukčije, primjerice, snažnim uzvikom dajte joj do znanja da vas to boli, odnosno da vam to nije zabavno. Imitirajući način kako majka mačka odgaja, odnosno “ukorava” svoje mlade, možete neposlušnu macu, koja vas grebe ili grize, uhvatiti za vrat i lagano je pritisnuti prema tlu te je u takvom položaju držati nekoliko sekundi.
Treneri životinja tvrde kako će to biti lekcija od koje će se maca lako oporaviti, ali koju će isto tako dugo pamtiti, što će imati efekt sprječavanja daljnjega grizenja ili grebanja.
Mačka vas može grebati i ako joj je dosadno pa se upustite u igru s njom, ali koristeći neku igračku.
Ako, pak, vaša inače mirna maca odjednom postane “agresivna”, svakako je odvedite veterinaru jer je moguće da vam samo želi poručiti da je bolesna.
