Legendarni nogometni trener Miroslav Ćiro Blažević (86) u nedjeljno je jutro mnoge zabrinuo izjavom da je u teškom zdravstvenom stanju. Naime, u intervjuu za slovenski Sport Klub kazao je da je loše, oprostivši se od Slovenaca. Novinari su ga kontaktirali kako bi govorio o nadolazećoj utakmici Hrvatske i Slovenije koja se u utorak igra u Splitu.

- Dragi moji Slovenci. Naša ljubav je bezgranična. Vi volite mene, ja volim vas, ali moram reći tužnu vijest. Ja sam jako, jako bolestan. Osim što sam star, imam 86 godina. Ako uskoro ne dođem, a vjerojatno i neću, iskoristio bih ovu priliku da iskažem svoju ljubav i pozdravim sve svoje prijatelje u Sloveniji. Poručujem im da mogu biti ponosni što su Slovenci. Dosegli ste civilizacijski nivo za kojim mi Hrvati čeznemo. Nažalost, moram reći katoličku stvar - zbogom. Zbogom, dragi moji Slovenci. Žao mi je. Veoma sam pesimističan - rekao je bivši trener "vatrenih", kojemu je prije 16 godina u Univerzitetskoj klinici u Innsbrucku zbog karcinoma odstranjena prostata. Sada mu se pojavio recidiv karcinoma proširivši se na limfne žlijezde.

Iako je trener svih trenera pobijedio dva raka, opaka bolest sada mu se opet vratila, što nam je u kratkom telefonskom razgovoru potvrdio i sam Blažević.

Javio nam se pomalo umorno i u sjetnom raspoloženju, ali sretan što je Hrvatska u subotnjoj utakmici pobijedila Slovačku u kvalifikacijama za SP.

- Operirao sam prostatu, to znaš, sine, ali prije mjesec dana opet se pojavilo novo žarište - tužno će Ćiro.

- Čovjek se osjeća drugačije kad mu se tako nešto konstatira... Zabrinuto. U takvoj sam sada fazi. Umjereno zabrinutoj. Ipak, očekujem da mi grupa doktora oko mene omogući da još malo dodatno poživim... Oni su oprezni na riječima, ali treba vjerovati. Želim vjerovati u svoje ozdravljenje - kaže nam.

- Na terapiji sam stalno. Nije lako, ali mogu ti reći da izdržavam. Nema mi druge. Želim biti jak. Unatoč terapijama, pažljivo i dalje pratim nogomet. Ne mogu vam opisati koliko sam se veselio pobjedi naših dečki nad Slovačkom. Bilo je u zadnji trenutak, ali smo pobijedili. Sa mnom su cijelo vrijeme sin Miroslav i nevjesta, brinu se za mene i ništa mi ne nedostaje.

Rak prostate je po svojoj pojavnosti drugi maligni tumor kod muškaraca, odmah iza raka pluća, i to je najčešći karcinom kod muškaraca u Hrvatskoj. Svake godine oboli ih nekoliko stotina više u odnosu na prethodnu, a ono što posebno zabrinjava je da se udvostručio broj mlađih od 50 godina. Ipak, ako se otkrije na vrijeme, bolest je potpuno izlječiva. Dugotrajno se liječe samo oni koji imaju najmaligniji oblik, no i tada ima nade za još mnogo godina života.

U veljači prošle godine Ćiro je za Gloriju progovorio o svojoj borbi s bolešću.

- Muškarac bez prostate je invalid, osuđen na život bez seksa, a kakav je to život? Nikakav! Prostata je toliko mala, a toliko važna za svakog muškarca da je suludo odstraniti je ako nije nužno. Da mogu vratiti vrijeme, ne bih izabrao operaciju, nego zračenje, jer sam bio u prilici birati - rekao je i dodao.

- Nemam običaj opterećivati ljude, pogotovo bližnje, a kad spomenete rak, odmah vas osude na smrt. Strah se uvuče u sve pore života i tu nema pomoći. Danas redovito vježbam te idem na kontrole i sistematske preglede, a na to tjeram i svoju obitelj. Jedan kontrolni pregled kod dermatologinje Maje Ceković otkrio mi je melanom u početnoj fazi i operacijom sam ga otklonio. Eto, preživio sam dva raka, ali samo zato što problem nisam "gurao pod tepih". Dakle, dečki, redovito kontrolirajte prostatu, koja nama muškarcima diktira kvalitetu života. I ako je ikako moguće, odaberite zračenje. U životu treba uživati punim plućima. A ima li išta ljepše na svijetu od žena i romantičnog druženja s tim divnim bićima?

Ćirina supruga Zdenka Blažević, s kojom se vjenčao 1961. i dobio troje djece, kćeri Barbaru i Catherine te sina Miroslava, najveći mu je oslonac i podrška tijekom cijelog života. Ona s kćerima trenutačno živi u Švicarskoj, a on ju je uvijek vješto skrivao od medija. Jedan od rijetkih trenutaka kad su ih fotografi slikali dogodio se ovog srpnja na koncertu talijanskog opernog trija "Il Volo" u Opatiji.

Legendarni nogometni trener Miroslav Ćiro Blažević (86) u nedjeljno je jutro mnoge zabrinuo izjavom da je u teškom zdravstvenom stanju. Naime, u intervjuu za slovenski Sport Klub kazao je da je loše, oprostivši se od Slovenaca. Novinari su ga kontaktirali kako bi govorio o nadolazećoj utakmici Hrvatske i Slovenije koja se u utorak igra u Splitu.

- Dragi moji Slovenci. Naša ljubav je bezgranična. Vi volite mene, ja volim vas, ali moram reći tužnu vijest. Ja sam jako, jako bolestan. Osim što sam star, imam 86 godina. Ako uskoro ne dođem, a vjerojatno i neću, iskoristio bih ovu priliku da iskažem svoju ljubav i pozdravim sve svoje prijatelje u Sloveniji. Poručujem im da mogu biti ponosni što su Slovenci. Dosegli ste civilizacijski nivo za kojim mi Hrvati čeznemo. Nažalost, moram reći katoličku stvar - zbogom. Zbogom, dragi moji Slovenci. Žao mi je. Veoma sam pesimističan - rekao je bivši trener "vatrenih", kojemu je prije 16 godina u Univerzitetskoj klinici u Innsbrucku zbog karcinoma odstranjena prostata. Sada mu se pojavio recidiv karcinoma proširivši se na limfne žlijezde.

Iako je trener svih trenera pobijedio dva raka, opaka bolest sada mu se opet vratila, što nam je u kratkom telefonskom razgovoru potvrdio i sam Blažević.

Javio nam se pomalo umorno i u sjetnom raspoloženju, ali sretan što je Hrvatska u subotnjoj utakmici pobijedila Slovačku u kvalifikacijama za SP.

- Operirao sam prostatu, to znaš, sine, ali prije mjesec dana opet se pojavilo novo žarište - tužno će Ćiro.

- Čovjek se osjeća drugačije kad mu se tako nešto konstatira... Zabrinuto. U takvoj sam sada fazi. Umjereno zabrinutoj. Ipak, očekujem da mi grupa doktora oko mene omogući da još malo dodatno poživim... Oni su oprezni na riječima, ali treba vjerovati. Želim vjerovati u svoje ozdravljenje - kaže nam.

- Na terapiji sam stalno. Nije lako, ali mogu ti reći da izdržavam. Nema mi druge. Želim biti jak. Unatoč terapijama, pažljivo i dalje pratim nogomet. Ne mogu vam opisati koliko sam se veselio pobjedi naših dečki nad Slovačkom. Bilo je u zadnji trenutak, ali smo pobijedili. Sa mnom su cijelo vrijeme sin Miroslav i nevjesta, brinu se za mene i ništa mi ne nedostaje.

Rak prostate je po svojoj pojavnosti drugi maligni tumor kod muškaraca, odmah iza raka pluća, i to je najčešći karcinom kod muškaraca u Hrvatskoj. Svake godine oboli ih nekoliko stotina više u odnosu na prethodnu, a ono što posebno zabrinjava je da se udvostručio broj mlađih od 50 godina. Ipak, ako se otkrije na vrijeme, bolest je potpuno izlječiva. Dugotrajno se liječe samo oni koji imaju najmaligniji oblik, no i tada ima nade za još mnogo godina života.

U veljači prošle godine Ćiro je za Gloriju progovorio o svojoj borbi s bolešću.

- Muškarac bez prostate je invalid, osuđen na život bez seksa, a kakav je to život? Nikakav! Prostata je toliko mala, a toliko važna za svakog muškarca da je suludo odstraniti je ako nije nužno. Da mogu vratiti vrijeme, ne bih izabrao operaciju, nego zračenje, jer sam bio u prilici birati - rekao je i dodao.

- Nemam običaj opterećivati ljude, pogotovo bližnje, a kad spomenete rak, odmah vas osude na smrt. Strah se uvuče u sve pore života i tu nema pomoći. Danas redovito vježbam te idem na kontrole i sistematske preglede, a na to tjeram i svoju obitelj. Jedan kontrolni pregled kod dermatologinje Maje Ceković otkrio mi je melanom u početnoj fazi i operacijom sam ga otklonio. Eto, preživio sam dva raka, ali samo zato što problem nisam "gurao pod tepih". Dakle, dečki, redovito kontrolirajte prostatu, koja nama muškarcima diktira kvalitetu života. I ako je ikako moguće, odaberite zračenje. U životu treba uživati punim plućima. A ima li išta ljepše na svijetu od žena i romantičnog druženja s tim divnim bićima?

Ćirina supruga Zdenka Blažević, s kojom se vjenčao 1961. i dobio troje djece, kćeri Barbaru i Catherine te sina Miroslava, najveći mu je oslonac i podrška tijekom cijelog života. Ona s kćerima trenutačno živi u Švicarskoj, a on ju je uvijek vješto skrivao od medija. Jedan od rijetkih trenutaka kad su ih fotografi slikali dogodio se ovog srpnja na koncertu talijanskog opernog trija "Il Volo" u Opatiji.
