Dva puta godišnje sve više vozača, pa čak i u Dalmaciji, zamjenjuje ljetne gume zimskima, i obrnuto.

Stoga većina guma barem neko vrijeme preleži u skladištu, pa se za njih treba dobro pobrinuti i onda kada nisu ugrađene na vozilu. Gume koje su pravilno uskladištene ne gube svoje značajke i njihov će životni vijek biti dulji. Stručnjaci iz Goodyeara s nekoliko korisnih savjeta pomažu kod pravilnoga skladištenja guma.

Kada ljetne gume zamjenjujete zimskima, kao što je slučaj u ovom dijelu godine, ili obrnuto u pripremi za ljetne uvjete vožnje, najvažnije je pregledno označiti njihov položaj na automobilu. Tako ćete kod sljedeće zamjene znati gdje je bila montirana koja guma i kad se opet budu montirale, bit će na pravilnim mjestima: lijeve na lijevoj strani, a desne na desnoj.

Vulkanizer će kod ponovnog montiranja prednju lijevu gumu staviti iza, a stražnju naprijed, te isto učiniti i na desnoj strani. Tako će se gume ravnomjernije trošiti. Prije spremanja guma, s njih treba skinuti svu nečistoću te izvaditi kamenčiće i slične predmete koji bi mogli oštetiti ili utjecati na oblik gazne površine.

Gume treba uskladištiti na tamnom, suhom i hladnom mjestu (a ne, recimo, u toplom podrumu kraj peći za centralno grijanje) jer im šteti izloženost dnevnom svjetlu, a osobito UV zrakama. Gumama također šteti kontakt s uljima, mazivima, lakovima ili gorivima.

Ako gume čuvate na naplatcima, prije skladištenja u njima snizite tlak zraka, ali ih nemojte posve isprazniti. Gume na naplatcima ne držite u okomitom položaju, nego ih objesite na nosače da prežive zimu bez opterećenja. Ako gume na naplatcima ne možete objesiti, složite ih jednu na drugu, ali neka ukupna visina ne bude veća od 1,5 metara.

Jednom mjesečno dobro ih je premjestiti da se na dnu izmjenjuju. Gume koje ste skinuli s naplataka uskladištite usporedno u okomitom položaju, a između njih ostavite malo mjesta. Preporučuje se okrenuti ih svaka četiri tjedna da se guma ne deformira.

Dva puta godišnje sve više vozača, pa čak i u Dalmaciji, zamjenjuje ljetne gume zimskima, i obrnuto.

Stoga većina guma barem neko vrijeme preleži u skladištu, pa se za njih treba dobro pobrinuti i onda kada nisu ugrađene na vozilu. Gume koje su pravilno uskladištene ne gube svoje značajke i njihov će životni vijek biti dulji. Stručnjaci iz Goodyeara s nekoliko korisnih savjeta pomažu kod pravilnoga skladištenja guma.

Kada ljetne gume zamjenjujete zimskima, kao što je slučaj u ovom dijelu godine, ili obrnuto u pripremi za ljetne uvjete vožnje, najvažnije je pregledno označiti njihov položaj na automobilu. Tako ćete kod sljedeće zamjene znati gdje je bila montirana koja guma i kad se opet budu montirale, bit će na pravilnim mjestima: lijeve na lijevoj strani, a desne na desnoj.

Vulkanizer će kod ponovnog montiranja prednju lijevu gumu staviti iza, a stražnju naprijed, te isto učiniti i na desnoj strani. Tako će se gume ravnomjernije trošiti. Prije spremanja guma, s njih treba skinuti svu nečistoću te izvaditi kamenčiće i slične predmete koji bi mogli oštetiti ili utjecati na oblik gazne površine.

Gume treba uskladištiti na tamnom, suhom i hladnom mjestu (a ne, recimo, u toplom podrumu kraj peći za centralno grijanje) jer im šteti izloženost dnevnom svjetlu, a osobito UV zrakama. Gumama također šteti kontakt s uljima, mazivima, lakovima ili gorivima.

Ako gume čuvate na naplatcima, prije skladištenja u njima snizite tlak zraka, ali ih nemojte posve isprazniti. Gume na naplatcima ne držite u okomitom položaju, nego ih objesite na nosače da prežive zimu bez opterećenja. Ako gume na naplatcima ne možete objesiti, složite ih jednu na drugu, ali neka ukupna visina ne bude veća od 1,5 metara.

Jednom mjesečno dobro ih je premjestiti da se na dnu izmjenjuju. Gume koje ste skinuli s naplataka uskladištite usporedno u okomitom položaju, a između njih ostavite malo mjesta. Preporučuje se okrenuti ih svaka četiri tjedna da se guma ne deformira.
