Ljudi odlaze u prirodu, sa sobom nose vlažne, dezinfekcijske maramice, maske i dezinficijense. A onda u prirodi sve to i bacaju.

“Vlažne maramice nisu biorazgradiv proizvod, one većinom sadrže mikroplastiku”, upozorava Marko Košak iz Zelene akcije, prenosi magazin H-alter.

A Zeleni telefon preplavljen je pozivima građana, bilježe više nego dvostruko povećanje prijava ovoga travnja.

Ekovjesnik pak piše da je Eric Pauget, zastupnik u francuskoj Nacionalnoj skupštini, kao mjeru za sprječavanje neodgovornog bacanja zaštitnih rukavica i maski predložio uvođenje novčane kazne u visini od 300 eura.

Poput mnogih drugih svojih sunarodnjaka, i Pauget je zgranut velikom količinom ovog potencijalno zaraznog otpada na javnim površinama francuskih gradova.

Iako se korištenje maski i rukavica preporučuje kao mjera zaštite od novog koronavirusa, Pauget smatra da ne postoji opravdanje za njihovo neodgovorno bacanje, te da bi visoka novčana kazna mnoge navela na odgovornije ponašanje, izvijestio je France 3.

Posebno velik problem predstavljaju kirurške maske, kojih na javnim površinama ima najviše, a kako navodi Plastick Attack France, za njihovu je razgradnju u prirodi potrebno i do 450 godina.

Kirurške maske su kombinacija papira i plastike. Pauget tvrdi da se neodgovorno ponašanje pojedinaca treba sankcionirati jer “predstavlja značajan rizik za zdravlje ljudi i zaštitu okoliša“, te na Twitteru priložio prizore koje je sam snimio.

Premalena 'globa'

Francusko zakonodavstvo trenutno predviđa novčanu kaznu u visini od 68 eura za svakoga koga se uhvati u onečišćenju javnih površina i okoliša, no Eric Pauget smatra da je taj iznos premalen u odnosu na štetu koju može izazivati te stoga predlaže veće ovlasti lokalnim vlastima i komunalnim redarima, kao i da se za identifikaciju počinitelja koristi videonadzor.

No, problem su i vlažne maramice.

“Kao proizvod koji sadrži mikroplastiku, vlažne maramice su obuhvaćene i EU Direktivom o smanjenju utjecaja određenih plastičnih proizvoda na okoliš, ali ih se ne izbacuje nego će od trenutka stupanja biti obavezno da na njima piše da sadrže mikroplastiku.

Isto će biti i s ostalim higijenskim proizvodima, poput uložaka i tampona”, ističe za H-alter Marko Košak, koordinator Zero Waste Croatia Network i voditelj Programa gospodarenja otpadom Zelene akcije.

Preporučene 'višekratne'

Direktiva koja se bavi plastičnim proizvodima za jednokratnu upotrebu od 3. srpnja 2021. maknut će s europskog tržišta štapiće za uši, plastični pribor za jelo, tanjure, slamke, štapiće za balone, posude i čaše za hranu i napitke izrađene od ekspandiranog polistirena.

Iako neće biti izbačeni iz upotrebe, takozvana “proširena odgovornost” obuhvatit će, osim vlažnih maramica, i balone, filtere za cigarete, ribolovni alat koji sadrži plastiku.

Još uvijek je upitno na koji način će to biti prevedeno u hrvatsko zakonodavstvo, podsjeća Udruga za nezavisnu medijsku kulturu, navodeći da je povećanje određenih vrsta otpada u okolišu u tijeku pandemije uočeno već i u drugim krajevima svijeta.

Odbačene maske za lice zatrpale su plaže Hong Konga, upozorili su iz organizacije Oceans Asia, prenosi Reuters. O istom problemu u Grčkoj izvijestio je Deutsche Welle, koji prenosi i komentar Joana Marca Simona iz organizacije Zero Waste Europe, koji upozorava na to da države ne bi trebale biti prisiljene da biraju između zaštite javnog zdravlja i okoliša.

“U budućnosti se moramo pripremiti za pandemije kao što je ova, kako bismo se s njima mogli nositi na način koji je prihvatljiv za okoliš”, istaknuo je Simon.

Za okoliš su svakako prihvatljiviji višekratni proizvodi. Portugalska organizacija Zero, primjerice, provodi kampanju za korištenje višekratnih maski za lice. Osim platnenih, i N95 maske se tako mogu sterilizirati i vratiti u ponovnu upotrebu. Pojedine tvornice u španjolskom Gijonu počele su sterilizirati i reciklirati maske.

Ljudi odlaze u prirodu, sa sobom nose vlažne, dezinfekcijske maramice, maske i dezinficijense. A onda u prirodi sve to i bacaju.

“Vlažne maramice nisu biorazgradiv proizvod, one većinom sadrže mikroplastiku”, upozorava Marko Košak iz Zelene akcije, prenosi magazin H-alter.

A Zeleni telefon preplavljen je pozivima građana, bilježe više nego dvostruko povećanje prijava ovoga travnja.

Ekovjesnik pak piše da je Eric Pauget, zastupnik u francuskoj Nacionalnoj skupštini, kao mjeru za sprječavanje neodgovornog bacanja zaštitnih rukavica i maski predložio uvođenje novčane kazne u visini od 300 eura.

Poput mnogih drugih svojih sunarodnjaka, i Pauget je zgranut velikom količinom ovog potencijalno zaraznog otpada na javnim površinama francuskih gradova.

Iako se korištenje maski i rukavica preporučuje kao mjera zaštite od novog koronavirusa, Pauget smatra da ne postoji opravdanje za njihovo neodgovorno bacanje, te da bi visoka novčana kazna mnoge navela na odgovornije ponašanje, izvijestio je France 3.

Posebno velik problem predstavljaju kirurške maske, kojih na javnim površinama ima najviše, a kako navodi Plastick Attack France, za njihovu je razgradnju u prirodi potrebno i do 450 godina.

Kirurške maske su kombinacija papira i plastike. Pauget tvrdi da se neodgovorno ponašanje pojedinaca treba sankcionirati jer “predstavlja značajan rizik za zdravlje ljudi i zaštitu okoliša“, te na Twitteru priložio prizore koje je sam snimio.

Premalena 'globa'

Francusko zakonodavstvo trenutno predviđa novčanu kaznu u visini od 68 eura za svakoga koga se uhvati u onečišćenju javnih površina i okoliša, no Eric Pauget smatra da je taj iznos premalen u odnosu na štetu koju može izazivati te stoga predlaže veće ovlasti lokalnim vlastima i komunalnim redarima, kao i da se za identifikaciju počinitelja koristi videonadzor.

No, problem su i vlažne maramice.

“Kao proizvod koji sadrži mikroplastiku, vlažne maramice su obuhvaćene i EU Direktivom o smanjenju utjecaja određenih plastičnih proizvoda na okoliš, ali ih se ne izbacuje nego će od trenutka stupanja biti obavezno da na njima piše da sadrže mikroplastiku.

Isto će biti i s ostalim higijenskim proizvodima, poput uložaka i tampona”, ističe za H-alter Marko Košak, koordinator Zero Waste Croatia Network i voditelj Programa gospodarenja otpadom Zelene akcije.

Preporučene 'višekratne'

Direktiva koja se bavi plastičnim proizvodima za jednokratnu upotrebu od 3. srpnja 2021. maknut će s europskog tržišta štapiće za uši, plastični pribor za jelo, tanjure, slamke, štapiće za balone, posude i čaše za hranu i napitke izrađene od ekspandiranog polistirena.

Iako neće biti izbačeni iz upotrebe, takozvana “proširena odgovornost” obuhvatit će, osim vlažnih maramica, i balone, filtere za cigarete, ribolovni alat koji sadrži plastiku.

Još uvijek je upitno na koji način će to biti prevedeno u hrvatsko zakonodavstvo, podsjeća Udruga za nezavisnu medijsku kulturu, navodeći da je povećanje određenih vrsta otpada u okolišu u tijeku pandemije uočeno već i u drugim krajevima svijeta.

Odbačene maske za lice zatrpale su plaže Hong Konga, upozorili su iz organizacije Oceans Asia, prenosi Reuters. O istom problemu u Grčkoj izvijestio je Deutsche Welle, koji prenosi i komentar Joana Marca Simona iz organizacije Zero Waste Europe, koji upozorava na to da države ne bi trebale biti prisiljene da biraju između zaštite javnog zdravlja i okoliša.

“U budućnosti se moramo pripremiti za pandemije kao što je ova, kako bismo se s njima mogli nositi na način koji je prihvatljiv za okoliš”, istaknuo je Simon.

Za okoliš su svakako prihvatljiviji višekratni proizvodi. Portugalska organizacija Zero, primjerice, provodi kampanju za korištenje višekratnih maski za lice. Osim platnenih, i N95 maske se tako mogu sterilizirati i vratiti u ponovnu upotrebu. Pojedine tvornice u španjolskom Gijonu počele su sterilizirati i reciklirati maske.

Ljudi odlaze u prirodu, sa sobom nose vlažne, dezinfekcijske maramice, maske i dezinficijense. A onda u prirodi sve to i bacaju.

“Vlažne maramice nisu biorazgradiv proizvod, one većinom sadrže mikroplastiku”, upozorava Marko Košak iz Zelene akcije, prenosi magazin H-alter.

A Zeleni telefon preplavljen je pozivima građana, bilježe više nego dvostruko povećanje prijava ovoga travnja.

Ekovjesnik pak piše da je Eric Pauget, zastupnik u francuskoj Nacionalnoj skupštini, kao mjeru za sprječavanje neodgovornog bacanja zaštitnih rukavica i maski predložio uvođenje novčane kazne u visini od 300 eura.

Poput mnogih drugih svojih sunarodnjaka, i Pauget je zgranut velikom količinom ovog potencijalno zaraznog otpada na javnim površinama francuskih gradova.
