Kad završava?

S gomilom pitanja, ufino našvrljanih u blokiću, posjetili smo Dom za starije na Zenti, tražeći one koji i u (naj)zrelijim godinama života i dalje žive ljubav. Tražeći one kojima ljubav definitivno nema rok trajanja, nego je vječna, poput – Hajduka.

Taman su se zakotrljale pedesete godine prošloga stoljeća, počelo se zaboravljati na ožiljke onoga Veloga rata, pa je grad pod Marjanom otvorio sve svoje pore i udahnuo duboko. Život. Radost.

I mladost se vratila.

– Na Rivi su ti se šetale sluškinje, mornari i vojska, a na Pjacu se točno zna red, preciznije – tri reda. Do Matića (kafana Central, op.a.) su bile starije cure i momci, u sredini su se šetali školarci i studenti, a uz staru gradsku vijećnicu bi bile klapice, galebovi, frajeri – sve nas tako pričom Marija Alujević Meri (84) vodi u prošlost.

Iza Lože, na poljani, okupljali su se sportaši. E upravo tamo bi školarka Meri voljela prošetati, samo zato da "baci očadu", na onoga kojega je sinjala odavno, na Zdravka Alujevića, rečeni Čiko (93).

Tako je, eto, Pjaca službeno označena kao mjesto gdje su se upoznali. Bila je 1957. godina, a Meri je živjela sa strogim roditeljima, pazilo se gdje je, s kim je i što se zbiva.

– Znaš šta je koprifogo (policijski sat, op.a.)? E, u moju kuću se znalo, liti moran doć doma do 21, zimi do 20 sati – kazuje nam.

Fina mlada gospođica bacila je oko, kako vam već ispričasmo, na momka iz Plinarske, koji je kod barba Luke Matošića igrao balun u Hajdukovim juniorima, pa sa 18 bio određen za drugu momčad ljubljenoga kluba.

– Proradija inat, nije mi se tilo igrat za druge, pa san otiša u RNK Split, u prvi tim. Baš te sezone san da 12 golova, a onda se pojavila Meri i aj ća – govori nam šjor Čiko, vitalan i nasmijan.

– Išla mu je škola, išlo mu je sve, ali je balun uvik bija na prvo misto – dodaje Meri, pazeći da je suprug ne čuje.

U brak su uplovili prije 65 godina. Prije 23.725 dana. Dok su se korteđavali Meri bi znala s prijateljicama otić u Teatar i posudit haljine iz garderobe, kako bi na plesovima izgledale nestvarno. Nestvarno je lijepa bila i na plesovima Gusara, i na tancu Hajduka, na Jadranovim susretima...

Mladost je ionako nestvarno lijepa. I čarobna. Kad se voliš, kad si ljubljen, još je ljepša. Kod Meri i Čika ljubavi je bilo "na mašure". Bilo im je lijepo, kazuju nam, premda im je lijepo i danas. Ali uspomene na "fronte" i "frontele", na živu muziku, na veliko društvo – drže ih i danas ushićenima.

– Prvo smo živili kod mojih, posli u Varoš. Ja san radila ka službenica u Transjuga, on je u škveru ka službenik odradio cili radni vijek i lipo se živilo. Uvik bi mi mater rekla: Dite moje, sve ćete potrošit! A mi smo svaku subotu odili, ili u Tri ferala, ili kod Ante šporkoga, ili na ribarske kućice, išli na Klis... Lipo se živilo – otkriva nam Meri.

Životnu im je radost zaustavila tragedija. Jedinoga sina Igora bolest im je oduzela. Brzo i naglo. Bolno.

Ta rana nikada neće zarasti, to znaju, ali ne odustaju. Vole si i gaze zajedno dalje. Zajedno su jači. I hrabriji. I moćniji. Žive. Za uspomene. Za ljubav.

Ni bolesti se ne predaju, a bolesti, s godinama, jednostavno ne možeš pobjeći. Brža je. No, dok su zajedno, a onako lijepi, prekrasno ostarjeli, drže se čvrsto za ruke i ne daju se nevoljama. To je ljubav.

– Ljubav ti sve liči – veli Meri.

– Dobro dojde i da je malo šoldi tu – dodaje šjor Zdravko.

I dok se tako lipo razgovaramo, a oni se pogledaju, nama se sve čini kako su opet šinjorina i balunjer, kako idu priko Pjace, ruku pod ruku, kako uz njih grad diše, a oni ga čine boljim.

Ljubav sve pobjedi.

I nikako drugačije.

Ima li ljubav vrijeme trajanja?

Kad završava?

S gomilom pitanja, ufino našvrljanih u blokiću, posjetili smo Dom za starije na Zenti, tražeći one koji i u (naj)zrelijim godinama života i dalje žive ljubav. Tražeći one kojima ljubav definitivno nema rok trajanja, nego je vječna, poput – Hajduka.

Taman su se zakotrljale pedesete godine prošloga stoljeća, počelo se zaboravljati na ožiljke onoga Veloga rata, pa je grad pod Marjanom otvorio sve svoje pore i udahnuo duboko. Život. Radost.

I mladost se vratila.

– Na Rivi su ti se šetale sluškinje, mornari i vojska, a na Pjacu se točno zna red, preciznije – tri reda. Do Matića (kafana Central, op.a.) su bile starije cure i momci, u sredini su se šetali školarci i studenti, a uz staru gradsku vijećnicu bi bile klapice, galebovi, frajeri – sve nas tako pričom Marija Alujević Meri (84) vodi u prošlost.

Iza Lože, na poljani, okupljali su se sportaši. E upravo tamo bi školarka Meri voljela prošetati, samo zato da "baci očadu", na onoga kojega je sinjala odavno, na Zdravka Alujevića, rečeni Čiko (93).

Tako je, eto, Pjaca službeno označena kao mjesto gdje su se upoznali. Bila je 1957. godina, a Meri je živjela sa strogim roditeljima, pazilo se gdje je, s kim je i što se zbiva.

– Znaš šta je koprifogo (policijski sat, op.a.)? E, u moju kuću se znalo, liti moran doć doma do 21, zimi do 20 sati – kazuje nam.

Fina mlada gospođica bacila je oko, kako vam već ispričasmo, na momka iz Plinarske, koji je kod barba Luke Matošića igrao balun u Hajdukovim juniorima, pa sa 18 bio određen za drugu momčad ljubljenoga kluba.

– Proradija inat, nije mi se tilo igrat za druge, pa san otiša u RNK Split, u prvi tim. Baš te sezone san da 12 golova, a onda se pojavila Meri i aj ća – govori nam šjor Čiko, vitalan i nasmijan.

– Išla mu je škola, išlo mu je sve, ali je balun uvik bija na prvo misto – dodaje Meri, pazeći da je suprug ne čuje.

U brak su uplovili prije 65 godina. Prije 23.725 dana. Dok su se korteđavali Meri bi znala s prijateljicama otić u Teatar i posudit haljine iz garderobe, kako bi na plesovima izgledale nestvarno. Nestvarno je lijepa bila i na plesovima Gusara, i na tancu Hajduka, na Jadranovim susretima...

Mladost je ionako nestvarno lijepa. I čarobna. Kad se voliš, kad si ljubljen, još je ljepša. Kod Meri i Čika ljubavi je bilo "na mašure". Bilo im je lijepo, kazuju nam, premda im je lijepo i danas. Ali uspomene na "fronte" i "frontele", na živu muziku, na veliko društvo – drže ih i danas ushićenima.

– Prvo smo živili kod mojih, posli u Varoš. Ja san radila ka službenica u Transjuga, on je u škveru ka službenik odradio cili radni vijek i lipo se živilo. Uvik bi mi mater rekla: Dite moje, sve ćete potrošit! A mi smo svaku subotu odili, ili u Tri ferala, ili kod Ante šporkoga, ili na ribarske kućice, išli na Klis... Lipo se živilo – otkriva nam Meri.

Životnu im je radost zaustavila tragedija. Jedinoga sina Igora bolest im je oduzela. Brzo i naglo. Bolno.

Ta rana nikada neće zarasti, to znaju, ali ne odustaju. Vole si i gaze zajedno dalje. Zajedno su jači. I hrabriji. I moćniji. Žive. Za uspomene. Za ljubav.

Ni bolesti se ne predaju, a bolesti, s godinama, jednostavno ne možeš pobjeći. Brža je. No, dok su zajedno, a onako lijepi, prekrasno ostarjeli, drže se čvrsto za ruke i ne daju se nevoljama. To je ljubav.

– Ljubav ti sve liči – veli Meri.

– Dobro dojde i da je malo šoldi tu – dodaje šjor Zdravko.

I dok se tako lipo razgovaramo, a oni se pogledaju, nama se sve čini kako su opet šinjorina i balunjer, kako idu priko Pjace, ruku pod ruku, kako uz njih grad diše, a oni ga čine boljim.

Ljubav sve pobjedi.

I nikako drugačije.
