Činilo se da je trogodišnji dječak mrtav nakon što je hospitaliziran zbog sumnje na trovanje salmonelom iz Kinder jajeta. Maleni Billy Way iz Barryja u Walesu naglo se razbolio nakon što je prošlog mjeseca pojeo čokoladu 'Kinder Surprise' koju je njegov stariji brat dobio na poklon, prenosi britanski Mirror.

 

To se dogodilo nakon što su Kinder proizvodi, uključujući popularna čokoladna jaja, proizvedeni u tvornici u Belgiji, povučeni zbog izbijanja salmonele. Tvornica čokolade bila je prisiljena zatvoriti nakon što su istražitelji zabilježili više od 100 slučajeva salmonele, uključujući 63 u Velikoj Britaniji.

Kasey Cooke, 26-godišnja majka dječaka, rekla je za Mirror: "Billy voli 'Kinder Surprise', pojede bar jedno tjedno. Njegov brat je za rođendan dobio paket od tri jaja, a kako on nije ljubitelj čokolade, dala sam jedno Billyju. Bio je uzbuđen što je pojeo čokoladu i imao igračku unutra. Ali nekoliko dana kasnije jako se razbolio. Nije mogao ništa, čak stajati na nogama. Morala sam mu staviti pelenu jer nije mogao ustati na toalet. Otišla sam kod liječnika opće prakse izvan radnog vremena i odmah su nas uputili u bolnicu. Bili su zabrinuti da bi mogao pasti u komu jer mu je šećer u krvi bio tako nizak. Bilo je strašno".

Billy je primljen u dječju bolnicu Noah's Ark u Cardiffu u Walesu i držan je na infuziji četiri dana.
 

- Kada sam svojoj obitelji poslala njegovu sliku u bolnici, njihov odgovor je bio da izgleda kao da je mrtav. Zbilja je izgledao kao da umire, usta su mu bila suha, lice blijedo, a oči crne i upale. Tjedan dana nije sjedio. Bio je tako beživotan. Nekoliko dana su se borili da mu zadrže visoku razinu šećera u krvi dok je ona stalno padala - opisala je majka mučne trenutke.
 

Tada se zaklela da nikad više neće pustiti Billija, kao ni njegovog petogodišnjeg brata, ni blizu Kinder proizvoda.

U početku nije sumnjala da je Kinder jaje uzrok Billyjeve bolesti kad mu je pozlilo 1. travnja.
 

Tek kad su joj prijatelji rekli za opoziv cijele serije ovih čokoladica, shvatila je da simptomi odgovaraju trovanju salmonelom.
 

- Liječnici su uradili uzorke stolice i pronašli tu bakteriju, zbog čega su mislili da je salmonela. Mislim da je neodgovorno to što je salmonela dospjela u jaja, pogotovo što su glavni potrošač proizvoda djeca - rekla je zabrinuta Kasey.

Činilo se da je trogodišnji dječak mrtav nakon što je hospitaliziran zbog sumnje na trovanje salmonelom iz Kinder jajeta. Maleni Billy Way iz Barryja u Walesu naglo se razbolio nakon što je prošlog mjeseca pojeo čokoladu 'Kinder Surprise' koju je njegov stariji brat dobio na poklon, prenosi britanski Mirror.

 

To se dogodilo nakon što su Kinder proizvodi, uključujući popularna čokoladna jaja, proizvedeni u tvornici u Belgiji, povučeni zbog izbijanja salmonele. Tvornica čokolade bila je prisiljena zatvoriti nakon što su istražitelji zabilježili više od 100 slučajeva salmonele, uključujući 63 u Velikoj Britaniji.

Kasey Cooke, 26-godišnja majka dječaka, rekla je za Mirror: "Billy voli 'Kinder Surprise', pojede bar jedno tjedno. Njegov brat je za rođendan dobio paket od tri jaja, a kako on nije ljubitelj čokolade, dala sam jedno Billyju. Bio je uzbuđen što je pojeo čokoladu i imao igračku unutra. Ali nekoliko dana kasnije jako se razbolio. Nije mogao ništa, čak stajati na nogama. Morala sam mu staviti pelenu jer nije mogao ustati na toalet. Otišla sam kod liječnika opće prakse izvan radnog vremena i odmah su nas uputili u bolnicu. Bili su zabrinuti da bi mogao pasti u komu jer mu je šećer u krvi bio tako nizak. Bilo je strašno".

Billy je primljen u dječju bolnicu Noah's Ark u Cardiffu u Walesu i držan je na infuziji četiri dana.
 

- Kada sam svojoj obitelji poslala njegovu sliku u bolnici, njihov odgovor je bio da izgleda kao da je mrtav. Zbilja je izgledao kao da umire, usta su mu bila suha, lice blijedo, a oči crne i upale. Tjedan dana nije sjedio. Bio je tako beživotan. Nekoliko dana su se borili da mu zadrže visoku razinu šećera u krvi dok je ona stalno padala - opisala je majka mučne trenutke.
 

Tada se zaklela da nikad više neće pustiti Billija, kao ni njegovog petogodišnjeg brata, ni blizu Kinder proizvoda.

U početku nije sumnjala da je Kinder jaje uzrok Billyjeve bolesti kad mu je pozlilo 1. travnja.
 

Tek kad su joj prijatelji rekli za opoziv cijele serije ovih čokoladica, shvatila je da simptomi odgovaraju trovanju salmonelom.
 

- Liječnici su uradili uzorke stolice i pronašli tu bakteriju, zbog čega su mislili da je salmonela. Mislim da je neodgovorno to što je salmonela dospjela u jaja, pogotovo što su glavni potrošač proizvoda djeca - rekla je zabrinuta Kasey.
