Kuhar Tomislav Špiček u razgovoru za Jutarnji list odgovorio je na mnoga zanimljiva pitanja:
Tomek, je li vas iznenadilo istraživanje koje je pokazalo da su Hrvati postali najdeblji muškarci u EU?
- Pa zapravo i ne samo Hrvati, nego općenito svi ljudi imaju problema sa snalaženjem u prehrani u ovo vrijeme lokdauna. Danas je dostupno i doslovno svima jeftino i nekvalitetno meso koje si svatko može priuštiti nekoliko puta tjedno. Nekad su ljudi jeli sezonska variva, a danas je kila svinjskih šnicli jeftinija od mahuna...
Čak 73 posto Hrvata ima višak kilograma, dok Francuzi imaju najmanje - 53 posto pretilih. Što to oni jedu?
- Možda baš Francuzi obraćaju pažnju na prehranu, displininirani u u normativima pa vode računa koliko jedu, a i financijski su bolje potkovani pa vjerojatno jedu bolje meso, ribu i povrće...

Kod naših žena je "ugodno popunjeno" 58 posto, dok Talijanke imaju tek 37 posto pretilih. Zašto njihova tjestenina manje deblja?
- Možda imaju drukčiji normativ, možda one jedu tri deke, a mi 10 deka. Bolje je jednom tjedno pojesti kvalitetno domaće meso, nego tri puta jeftino uvozno.
U istraživanju se navodi kako je to posljedica promjene prehrane u lockdownu i smanjenog kretanja. Što sad ljudi više jedu?
- Ja bih rekao da su se ljudi pomalo pokrenuli i po Zaprešiću izlaze van, vidim da se više kreću. Smanjena aktivnost je bila kad je korona krenula, već dugo me dosta puno ljudi pita kako mogu unaprijediti svoje kulinarske recepte. Mislim da disciplinom možemo riješiti pretilost.
Koliko naše namirnice i navike u kuhanju, pa i sami kuhari pridonose tomu?
- Ha. Ja imam svoj kulinarski show, ali mislim da nedostaje takvih emisija koje bi educirale ljude oko prehrane. Ne moraš pojesti 30 deka mesa dnevno da bi bio sit.
No velika je razlika između kontinenta i priobalja. Zašto jedemo tako malo ribe i povrća?
- Nećeš ti nekoga u mjesec dana preokrenuti, treba raditi duže na edukaciji. I na slatkovnoj i morskoj ribi koje imamo u izobilju. Teško je. Ja gledam svog oca - daj ga ti natjeraj da pojede rižoto od kozica, eventualno može pojesti pohanog šarana. Treba krenuti od škole da se djeci objasni zašto je važna prehrana.

Kako ste vi promijenili prehrambene navike nakon infarkta prije tri godine?
- To što sam bio u šumi dok ste me čekali ne znači da skidam kile, nego samo skupljam drva za zimu (ha-ha). Smršavil sam dosta. Nisam uveo neki strogi režim, ali imam dosta aktivnosti čije rezultate vidim i na remenu. Navikao sam svoj želudac na manje količine i više puta dnevno.
To mi zvuči kao onaj vic o ženskoj koja je na sličan način promijenila svoje navike?
- Da, ha-ha. Možete slobodno napisati da sam postao gastronimfomanka.
Što kažete na potez ugostitelja sa Straduna koji traži da gost pokaže 300 kuna ako želi zauzeti stol?
- Mislim da postoje puno bolji i finiji načini. Recimo, postavi se sve za ručak, s escajgom i salvetama pa i gost vidi da tu nema što raditi. Baš zbog takvih stvari drago mi je da više ne sudjelujem u tome.
Kako to da za Dan pobjede nemamo nekakav prehrambeni specijalitet poput američkih purica? Davno sam zagovarao specijalitete od zečetine, pa su me napali da je to zbog onih koji su se razbježali kao zečevi tih dana?
- Mislim da kunić nije loša ideja. On je jako zanimljiva i pomalo zanemarena namirnica. Divlji zec je nešto drugo. Pa i vrijeme je da se razmisli o tako nečemu jer svoju kulturu i tradiciju imamo kod blagdana.

Koja je razlika između prigorskog i zagorskog vica? U prigorskom uvijek ispadne pametniji Prigorac, a u zagorskom Prigorca uopće nema. Kako to?
- Isto tako teško. Ima jedan iz Zagorskog lista gdje Zagorci traže od EU da vino proglasi temeljnim ljudskim pravom i da bude besplatno i dostupno svakome. Pa kaže. Kebab je zmislil Zagorec gda je pre puno let došel v Tursku i pital: 'E mate vi tuj ke bab'. Ili onaj; Jožek, a kad tebi gemišt najbolje paše? - Kad su borovi zeleni. - Pa navek su zeleni. - Znam, piše Jutarnji list .

Kuhar Tomislav Špiček u razgovoru za Jutarnji list odgovorio je na mnoga zanimljiva pitanja:
Tomek, je li vas iznenadilo istraživanje koje je pokazalo da su Hrvati postali najdeblji muškarci u EU?
- Pa zapravo i ne samo Hrvati, nego općenito svi ljudi imaju problema sa snalaženjem u prehrani u ovo vrijeme lokdauna. Danas je dostupno i doslovno svima jeftino i nekvalitetno meso koje si svatko može priuštiti nekoliko puta tjedno. Nekad su ljudi jeli sezonska variva, a danas je kila svinjskih šnicli jeftinija od mahuna...
Čak 73 posto Hrvata ima višak kilograma, dok Francuzi imaju najmanje - 53 posto pretilih. Što to oni jedu?
- Možda baš Francuzi obraćaju pažnju na prehranu, displininirani u u normativima pa vode računa koliko jedu, a i financijski su bolje potkovani pa vjerojatno jedu bolje meso, ribu i povrće...

Kod naših žena je "ugodno popunjeno" 58 posto, dok Talijanke imaju tek 37 posto pretilih. Zašto njihova tjestenina manje deblja?
- Možda imaju drukčiji normativ, možda one jedu tri deke, a mi 10 deka. Bolje je jednom tjedno pojesti kvalitetno domaće meso, nego tri puta jeftino uvozno.
U istraživanju se navodi kako je to posljedica promjene prehrane u lockdownu i smanjenog kretanja. Što sad ljudi više jedu?
- Ja bih rekao da su se ljudi pomalo pokrenuli i po Zaprešiću izlaze van, vidim da se više kreću. Smanjena aktivnost je bila kad je korona krenula, već dugo me dosta puno ljudi pita kako mogu unaprijediti svoje kulinarske recepte. Mislim da disciplinom možemo riješiti pretilost.
Koliko naše namirnice i navike u kuhanju, pa i sami kuhari pridonose tomu?
- Ha. Ja imam svoj kulinarski show, ali mislim da nedostaje takvih emisija koje bi educirale ljude oko prehrane. Ne moraš pojesti 30 deka mesa dnevno da bi bio sit.
No velika je razlika između kontinenta i priobalja. Zašto jedemo tako malo ribe i povrća?
- Nećeš ti nekoga u mjesec dana preokrenuti, treba raditi duže na edukaciji. I na slatkovnoj i morskoj ribi koje imamo u izobilju. Teško je. Ja gledam svog oca - daj ga ti natjeraj da pojede rižoto od kozica, eventualno može pojesti pohanog šarana. Treba krenuti od škole da se djeci objasni zašto je važna prehrana.

Kako ste vi promijenili prehrambene navike nakon infarkta prije tri godine?
- To što sam bio u šumi dok ste me čekali ne znači da skidam kile, nego samo skupljam drva za zimu (ha-ha). Smršavil sam dosta. Nisam uveo neki strogi režim, ali imam dosta aktivnosti čije rezultate vidim i na remenu. Navikao sam svoj želudac na manje količine i više puta dnevno.
To mi zvuči kao onaj vic o ženskoj koja je na sličan način promijenila svoje navike?
- Da, ha-ha. Možete slobodno napisati da sam postao gastronimfomanka.
Što kažete na potez ugostitelja sa Straduna koji traži da gost pokaže 300 kuna ako želi zauzeti stol?
- Mislim da postoje puno bolji i finiji načini. Recimo, postavi se sve za ručak, s escajgom i salvetama pa i gost vidi da tu nema što raditi. Baš zbog takvih stvari drago mi je da više ne sudjelujem u tome.
Kako to da za Dan pobjede nemamo nekakav prehrambeni specijalitet poput američkih purica? Davno sam zagovarao specijalitete od zečetine, pa su me napali da je to zbog onih koji su se razbježali kao zečevi tih dana?
- Mislim da kunić nije loša ideja. On je jako zanimljiva i pomalo zanemarena namirnica. Divlji zec je nešto drugo. Pa i vrijeme je da se razmisli o tako nečemu jer svoju kulturu i tradiciju imamo kod blagdana.

Koja je razlika između prigorskog i zagorskog vica? U prigorskom uvijek ispadne pametniji Prigorac, a u zagorskom Prigorca uopće nema. Kako to?
- Isto tako teško. Ima jedan iz Zagorskog lista gdje Zagorci traže od EU da vino proglasi temeljnim ljudskim pravom i da bude besplatno i dostupno svakome. Pa kaže. Kebab je zmislil Zagorec gda je pre puno let došel v Tursku i pital: 'E mate vi tuj ke bab'. Ili onaj; Jožek, a kad tebi gemišt najbolje paše? - Kad su borovi zeleni. - Pa navek su zeleni. - Znam, piše Jutarnji list .
