Žene koje su jedino uz pomoć donirane sperme mogle ostvariti svoju želju da postanu majke, potražili su pomoć banke sperme Xytex iz američke savezne države Georgia, gdje su pronašli donora za koje su smatrali da ima savršen profil – piše The Atlantic.

Za donora kojeg je banka vodila pod brojem 9623, vjerovale su da je genije je u svom profilu naveo kako govorio četiri jezika, da mu je IQ 160, kako pohađa doktorat iz neuroznanosti i da izgleda kao Tom Cruise.

Tijekom 14 godina sperma tog donora poslana je u više država, te je rođeno najmanje 36 djece. No, onda se doznalo da taj "genij" ne samo da nikada nije završio fakultet, pa tako nije ni bio ni na postdiplomskom studiju, već da ima kazneni dosje i ozbiljne psihičke probleme.

Naime, laži su se počele raspletati 2014. godine, kada je slučajno otkriveno ime muškarca koji je donirao spermu. Da se radi o Chrisu Aggelesu, kao i koja mu je e-mail adresa, banka je greškom u poruci poslala grupi majki.

Znatiželjne majke su ga googlale i ubrzo pronašle komentar koji je ostavio na mreži o tome kako čuje glasove. Kasnije su saznali da je bio hospitaliziran zbog mentalnih bolesti, kako je imao porive da počini samoubojstvo, te je priznao da je počinio krađu - sve prije ili za vrijeme dok je donirao spermu.

Banka sperme Xytex, piše The Atlantic, nije znala ništa od toga i nije provjerila nijednu biografsku informaciju koja se nalazila u njegovom profilu. Tako barem tvrde majke u tužbama koje su podnijele sudovima.

Šokirale su se kad su shvatile kako nije regulirano poslovanje banki sperme. Naravno, brinula su se da su njihova djeca naslijedila sklonost mentalnim bolestima.

Zbog svega toga, od 2016. podnijeli su više od desetak tužbi protiv banke sperme, a jedan slučaj trenutno je u postupku pred Vrhovnim sudom Georgije. Xytex slučaj nije komentirao, navodi The Atlantic.

Žene koje su jedino uz pomoć donirane sperme mogle ostvariti svoju želju da postanu majke, potražili su pomoć banke sperme Xytex iz američke savezne države Georgia, gdje su pronašli donora za koje su smatrali da ima savršen profil – piše The Atlantic.

Za donora kojeg je banka vodila pod brojem 9623, vjerovale su da je genije je u svom profilu naveo kako govorio četiri jezika, da mu je IQ 160, kako pohađa doktorat iz neuroznanosti i da izgleda kao Tom Cruise.

Tijekom 14 godina sperma tog donora poslana je u više država, te je rođeno najmanje 36 djece. No, onda se doznalo da taj "genij" ne samo da nikada nije završio fakultet, pa tako nije ni bio ni na postdiplomskom studiju, već da ima kazneni dosje i ozbiljne psihičke probleme.

Naime, laži su se počele raspletati 2014. godine, kada je slučajno otkriveno ime muškarca koji je donirao spermu. Da se radi o Chrisu Aggelesu, kao i koja mu je e-mail adresa, banka je greškom u poruci poslala grupi majki.

Znatiželjne majke su ga googlale i ubrzo pronašle komentar koji je ostavio na mreži o tome kako čuje glasove. Kasnije su saznali da je bio hospitaliziran zbog mentalnih bolesti, kako je imao porive da počini samoubojstvo, te je priznao da je počinio krađu - sve prije ili za vrijeme dok je donirao spermu.

Banka sperme Xytex, piše The Atlantic, nije znala ništa od toga i nije provjerila nijednu biografsku informaciju koja se nalazila u njegovom profilu. Tako barem tvrde majke u tužbama koje su podnijele sudovima.

Šokirale su se kad su shvatile kako nije regulirano poslovanje banki sperme. Naravno, brinula su se da su njihova djeca naslijedila sklonost mentalnim bolestima.

Zbog svega toga, od 2016. podnijeli su više od desetak tužbi protiv banke sperme, a jedan slučaj trenutno je u postupku pred Vrhovnim sudom Georgije. Xytex slučaj nije komentirao, navodi The Atlantic.

Umjesto genetskog materijala genijalca, dobile psihičkog bolesnika i kriminalca: bizaran scenarij odvio se u banci sperme u Americi, tužbe ne prestaju

Žene koje su jedino uz pomoć donirane sperme mogle ostvariti svoju želju da postanu majke, potražili su pomoć banke sperme Xytex iz američke savezne države Georgia, gdje su pronašli donora za koje su smatrali da ima savršen profil – piše The Atlantic.

Za donora kojeg je banka vodila pod brojem 9623, vjerovale su da je genije je u svom profilu naveo kako govorio četiri jezika, da mu je IQ 160, kako pohađa doktorat iz neuroznanosti i da izgleda kao Tom Cruise.

Tijekom 14 godina sperma tog donora poslana je u više država, te je rođeno najmanje 36 djece. No, onda se doznalo da taj "genij" ne samo da nikada nije završio fakultet, pa tako nije ni bio ni na postdiplomskom studiju, već da ima kazneni dosje i ozbiljne psihičke probleme.

Naime, laži su se počele raspletati 2014. ...
