Kuprešaci su za 30. srpnja ove godine najavili ulazak u Guinnessovu knjigu rekorda. Namjera im je tog dana, koji inače slave kao obiteljsku nedjelju i patrona svoje crkve, okupiti tisuću Ivana iz cijelog svijeta i oboriti globalni rekord s ljudima istog imena na jednom mjestu.
– U obzir dolaze – kaže don Zdenko Perija, zagrebački Kuprešak i župnik u bolnici "Rebro" – ne samo Ivani, nego i sve izvedenice tog imena, počevši od Ive, preko Ivice, Ike i Ivića, do Ivana, Ice i Iveka. Mogu i Johan, Johanes, Jan, Janko, Đovani, kao i istočnjačka varijanta Jovan. Da ih sve ne nabrajam. Otvoreni smo za sve ljude dobre volje i širokog srca.
Skup Ivana formalno organiziraju Udruga kupreških kosaca i Društvo Kuprešaka iz Zagreba. Pripreme su već poodmakle, a na stranici 1000 Ivana već se prijavilo 700 osoba. Ništa se ne prepušta slučaju, tako da je angažirana i PR agencija iz Zagreba. Snimat će se i milenijska fotografija.
Thompson pjeva
– Oni su u naše ime kontaktirali s ljudima iz Guinnessove knjige. Dobili smo čitav niz uvjeta koje moramo ispuniti za obaranje rekorda. Dobar dio već smo odradili – kaže Boris Babić iz zagrebačke Udruge Kuprešaka.
Jedan od uvjeta bio je i posebno ograđeni prostor. Kuprešaci su ga osigurali na igralištu Osnovne škole, u blizini Hrvatskog doma, gdje će se organizirati čitava fešta.
– Ne samo da se prostoru gdje će se okupiti Ivani neće moći pristupiti bez kontrole, nego će svi oni unutar njega morati boraviti 15 minuta. Toliko će vremena trebati ljudima iz Guinnesssa da odrade svoj dio posla i verificiraju rekord – objašnjava Matko Ćurković iz Udruge kupreških kosaca, koja svake godine početkom srpnja organizira i međunarodno natjecanje.
A zašto baš tisuću Ivana? Odgovor se krije u staroj kupreškoj pjesmi "Vratit će se Ivan s tisuću momaka", koju je, miksajući je s onom "Čija je to livada", nadaleko proslavio Marko Perković Thompson. Naravno, on će za ovu priliku, kao i mnogo puta do sada, održati svoj koncert u Kupresu.
– On za nas nije Thompson, nego Marko, a za mene rođo Marko – veli don Zdenko.
On sebi ne želi pripisati autorstvo ove ideje s knjigom rekorda.
– Nas par sjedilo je prošle godine nakon što smo proslavili blagdan i obilježili 130. obljetnicu rođenja našeg čuvenog umjetnika Gabrijela Jurkića, djeteta ovih prostora. Riječ po riječ, mislili smo što bismo mogli i došli smo do ovoga – otkriva svećenik s Rebra.
Zlu ne trebalo, izvan one ograde bit će još najmanje nekoliko desetaka, ako ne i stotina Ivana. Svi u misiji "Guinness mora pasti".

Kuprešaci su za 30. srpnja ove godine najavili ulazak u Guinnessovu knjigu rekorda. Namjera im je tog dana, koji inače slave kao obiteljsku nedjelju i patrona svoje crkve, okupiti tisuću Ivana iz cijelog svijeta i oboriti globalni rekord s ljudima istog imena na jednom mjestu.
– U obzir dolaze – kaže don Zdenko Perija, zagrebački Kuprešak i župnik u bolnici "Rebro" – ne samo Ivani, nego i sve izvedenice tog imena, počevši od Ive, preko Ivice, Ike i Ivića, do Ivana, Ice i Iveka. Mogu i Johan, Johanes, Jan, Janko, Đovani, kao i istočnjačka varijanta Jovan. Da ih sve ne nabrajam. Otvoreni smo za sve ljude dobre volje i širokog srca.
Skup Ivana formalno organiziraju Udruga kupreških kosaca i Društvo Kuprešaka iz Zagreba. Pripreme su već poodmakle, a na stranici 1000 Ivana već se prijavilo 700 osoba. Ništa se ne prepušta slučaju, tako da je angažirana i PR agencija iz Zagreba. Snimat će se i milenijska fotografija.
Thompson pjeva
– Oni su u naše ime kontaktirali s ljudima iz Guinnessove knjige. Dobili smo čitav niz uvjeta koje moramo ispuniti za obaranje rekorda. Dobar dio već smo odradili – kaže Boris Babić iz zagrebačke Udruge Kuprešaka.
Jedan od uvjeta bio je i posebno ograđeni prostor. Kuprešaci su ga osigurali na igralištu Osnovne škole, u blizini Hrvatskog doma, gdje će se organizirati čitava fešta.
– Ne samo da se prostoru gdje će se okupiti Ivani neće moći pristupiti bez kontrole, nego će svi oni unutar njega morati boraviti 15 minuta. Toliko će vremena trebati ljudima iz Guinnesssa da odrade svoj dio posla i verificiraju rekord – objašnjava Matko Ćurković iz Udruge kupreških kosaca, koja svake godine početkom srpnja organizira i međunarodno natjecanje.
A zašto baš tisuću Ivana? Odgovor se krije u staroj kupreškoj pjesmi "Vratit će se Ivan s tisuću momaka", koju je, miksajući je s onom "Čija je to livada", nadaleko proslavio Marko Perković Thompson. Naravno, on će za ovu priliku, kao i mnogo puta do sada, održati svoj koncert u Kupresu.
– On za nas nije Thompson, nego Marko, a za mene rođo Marko – veli don Zdenko.
On sebi ne želi pripisati autorstvo ove ideje s knjigom rekorda.
– Nas par sjedilo je prošle godine nakon što smo proslavili blagdan i obilježili 130. obljetnicu rođenja našeg čuvenog umjetnika Gabrijela Jurkića, djeteta ovih prostora. Riječ po riječ, mislili smo što bismo mogli i došli smo do ovoga – otkriva svećenik s Rebra.
Zlu ne trebalo, izvan one ograde bit će još najmanje nekoliko desetaka, ako ne i stotina Ivana. Svi u misiji "Guinness mora pasti".
