Neurokirurški tim u Kliničkoj bolnici Dubrava ostvario je novi uspjeh. Desetogodišnjaku iz Dalmacije, koji je zbog rijetke bolesti postao nepokretan, ugrađen je duboki stimulator mozga.
Samo tri mjeseca nakon operacije dječak je na nogama, objavio je u svom Dnevniku HRT.
Nakon pet godina traganja roditelji desetogodišnjeg dječaka napokon su doznali dijagnozu.
Rijetka bolest, distonija, stanje je u kojem mozak nema kontrolu nad mišićnim aktivnostima i uzrok je svih problema njihova sina.
Spas su potražili kod profesora Chudyja u KB-u u Dubravi. Tako je njihov sin operiran prije tri mjeseca, a rezultati su, kako kažu, nevjerojatni. Dječak sve razgovjetnije govori. Samostalno sjedi, kontrolira pokrete i hoda.
- Osjećam se super. Meni je to ka' novi rođendan. Ne znam kako bi to opisao k'o roditelj. Velika je stvar imati dijete, problem s djetetom, pa nakon toga da sve ide na bolje. To je savršeno, rekao je dječakov roditelj.
Prof. dr. sc. Darko Chudy, pročelnik Zavoda za neurokirurgiju KB Dubrava, kazao je kako očekuje da se dječak osamostali te da ima životne šanse kao i svi drugi dječaci.
- Ta stimulacija je kao triger da se omogući da mišići mogu slijediti naredbe, objasnio je Chudy.
- Nema boljeg osjećaja. To je nešto što vas drži i motivira da radimo i dalje i budemo još bolji i još bolji kako bi naši pacijenti bili sretni i zadovoljni, rekao je neurokirurg u KB Dubrava Fadi Almahariq, objavio je HRT.
Sretna je i dječakova fizioterapeutkinja Veronika Paradžik jer su pomaci sve vidljiviji.
- Tek nakon ugradnje stimulacije fizikalna je imala smisla, rekla je Paradžik.
Dječak sad ide u toplice te se očekuje da će njegovo stanje biti sve bolje i bolje, objavio je HRT.

Neurokirurški tim u Kliničkoj bolnici Dubrava ostvario je novi uspjeh. Desetogodišnjaku iz Dalmacije, koji je zbog rijetke bolesti postao nepokretan, ugrađen je duboki stimulator mozga.
Samo tri mjeseca nakon operacije dječak je na nogama, objavio je u svom Dnevniku HRT.
Nakon pet godina traganja roditelji desetogodišnjeg dječaka napokon su doznali dijagnozu.
Rijetka bolest, distonija, stanje je u kojem mozak nema kontrolu nad mišićnim aktivnostima i uzrok je svih problema njihova sina.
Spas su potražili kod profesora Chudyja u KB-u u Dubravi. Tako je njihov sin operiran prije tri mjeseca, a rezultati su, kako kažu, nevjerojatni. Dječak sve razgovjetnije govori. Samostalno sjedi, kontrolira pokrete i hoda.
- Osjećam se super. Meni je to ka' novi rođendan. Ne znam kako bi to opisao k'o roditelj. Velika je stvar imati dijete, problem s djetetom, pa nakon toga da sve ide na bolje. To je savršeno, rekao je dječakov roditelj.
Prof. dr. sc. Darko Chudy, pročelnik Zavoda za neurokirurgiju KB Dubrava, kazao je kako očekuje da se dječak osamostali te da ima životne šanse kao i svi drugi dječaci.
- Ta stimulacija je kao triger da se omogući da mišići mogu slijediti naredbe, objasnio je Chudy.
- Nema boljeg osjećaja. To je nešto što vas drži i motivira da radimo i dalje i budemo još bolji i još bolji kako bi naši pacijenti bili sretni i zadovoljni, rekao je neurokirurg u KB Dubrava Fadi Almahariq, objavio je HRT.
Sretna je i dječakova fizioterapeutkinja Veronika Paradžik jer su pomaci sve vidljiviji.
- Tek nakon ugradnje stimulacije fizikalna je imala smisla, rekla je Paradžik.
Dječak sad ide u toplice te se očekuje da će njegovo stanje biti sve bolje i bolje, objavio je HRT.
