Zahvaljujući uspjehu novog studijskog albuma „Foklore”, koji je nenajavljeno objavila u jeku pandemije koronavirusa, Taylor Swift je izjednačila rekord pokojne dive Whitney Houston s ukupno 46 tjedana na vrhu ljestvice Billboard 200. Taylorin album je sada već šest tjedana (zaključno sa 3. rujna) na vrhu te ljestvice.

Ona i Whitney sada dijele prvo mjesto s najviše tjedana na prvom mjestu ljestvice među glazbenicama, poprilično daleko iza njih je Adele, koja je na prvom mjestu provela 34 tjedna, ali Taylor će sigurno vrlo brzo sama preuzeti vodeću poziciju. Ukupno legendarni Beatlesi drže rekord po broju tjedana na prvoj poziciji na Billboardovoj ljestvici s 132 tjedna na toj poziciji. Taylor i Beatlesi su sada jedini glazbenici koji imaju najmanje pet albuma koji su proveli po šest tjedana na prvom mjestu ljestvice, a 30-godišnja pjevačica i autorica je jedina među ženama sa sedam albuma koji su debitirali na prvom mjestu Billboardove ljestvice.

Album „Folklore” Taylor je objavila 24. srpnja, a osim što je pobrao hvalospjeve kritičara, u prvom tjednu je prodan u više od dva milijuna primjeraka, samo prvog dana prodano je 1,3 milijuna primjeraka.

Taylor je ovim albumom srušila i „ženski” rekord na Spotifyju po količini streamova prvog dana, njezin je album imao 80,6 milijuna streamova. Dosad su tri singla objavljena s ovog albuma „Cardigan”, „Exile” i „Betty” čijim je naslovom odala ime treće kćerke svojih prijatelja, glumačkog para Blake Lively i Ryana Reynoldsa.

Taylor je nedavno objavila i deluxe verziju albuma koja ima dodatnu pjesmu „The Lakes”. Na albumu koji je napisan i snimljen tijekom izolacije zbog pandemije koronavirusa, Taylor je u 11 od 16 pjesama surađivala s multi-instrumentalistom Aaronom Dessnerom iz indie-rock benda The National.

Zahvaljujući uspjehu novog studijskog albuma „Foklore”, koji je nenajavljeno objavila u jeku pandemije koronavirusa, Taylor Swift je izjednačila rekord pokojne dive Whitney Houston s ukupno 46 tjedana na vrhu ljestvice Billboard 200. Taylorin album je sada već šest tjedana (zaključno sa 3. rujna) na vrhu te ljestvice.

Ona i Whitney sada dijele prvo mjesto s najviše tjedana na prvom mjestu ljestvice među glazbenicama, poprilično daleko iza njih je Adele, koja je na prvom mjestu provela 34 tjedna, ali Taylor će sigurno vrlo brzo sama preuzeti vodeću poziciju. Ukupno legendarni Beatlesi drže rekord po broju tjedana na prvoj poziciji na Billboardovoj ljestvici s 132 tjedna na toj poziciji. Taylor i Beatlesi su sada jedini glazbenici koji imaju najmanje pet albuma koji su proveli po šest tjedana na prvom mjestu ljestvice, a 30-godišnja pjevačica i autorica je jedina među ženama sa sedam albuma koji su debitirali na prvom mjestu Billboardove ljestvice.

Album „Folklore” Taylor je objavila 24. srpnja, a osim što je pobrao hvalospjeve kritičara, u prvom tjednu je prodan u više od dva milijuna primjeraka, samo prvog dana prodano je 1,3 milijuna primjeraka.

Taylor je ovim albumom srušila i „ženski” rekord na Spotifyju po količini streamova prvog dana, njezin je album imao 80,6 milijuna streamova. Dosad su tri singla objavljena s ovog albuma „Cardigan”, „Exile” i „Betty” čijim je naslovom odala ime treće kćerke svojih prijatelja, glumačkog para Blake Lively i Ryana Reynoldsa.

Taylor je nedavno objavila i deluxe verziju albuma koja ima dodatnu pjesmu „The Lakes”. Na albumu koji je napisan i snimljen tijekom izolacije zbog pandemije koronavirusa, Taylor je u 11 od 16 pjesama surađivala s multi-instrumentalistom Aaronom Dessnerom iz indie-rock benda The National.
