Sin Priscille Presley, Navarone Garibaldi, otvoreno je progovorio o svojoj "nepodnošljivoj" ovisnosti o fentanilu za koju kaže da ga je zamalo ubila, pripisujući zasluge majci što mu je pomogla da se očisti. Garibaldi je otkrio da je trošio oko 3000 eura mjesečno na fentanil, koji je 40 puta jači od heroina. Njegova ovisnost započela je kada ju je nesvjesno uzeo u kombinaciji s drugim rekreativnim drogama.
Navarone Garibaldi otkrio je da mu je majka Priscilla Presley pomogla da prestane biti ovisan o opasnoj drogi fentanil. Mladić je priznao da ga je ovisnost zamalo ubila, ali ga je bivša supruga Elvisa Presleyja spasila na vrijeme. "Mama mi je pomogla, bio sam raspoložen, bio sam beskoristan. To mi je pomoglo da učinim sve", rekao je.
"Trebalo bi oko šest do osam sati s heroinom, ali s fentanilom to morate raditi svakih 45 minuta, inače se počnete razboljevati", rekao je za The Sun i dodao: "Mama mi je pomogla, bio sam indisponiran, bio sam beskoristan. Pomogla mi je u svemu."
Obitelj Presley ranije je bila pogođena ovisnošću u različitim oblicima. Unuk Priscille Presley Ben Keough - sin Garibaldijeve pokojne polusestre Lise Marie i brat glumice Riley - oduzeo si je život 2020. u dobi od 27 godina nakon borbe s ovisnošću. Kokain i alkohol pronađeni su u njegovom organizmu, prema rezultatima njegove obdukcije.

Nakon smrti Elvisa Presleyja 1977. godine, kada je imao samo 42 godine, u tijelu pjevača pronađeno je 14 različitih lijekova. Lisa Marie Presley umrla je u siječnju 2023. u 54. godini od "posljedica opstrukcije tankog crijeva" uzrokovane operacijom mršavljenja. Prema toksikološkom izvješću, utvrđeno je da je u vrijeme smrti tjelesna "terapijska razina" opioida, koja je uključivala buprenorfin, imala lijek koji se ponekad koristi za liječenje ovisnosti o opioidima.
Priscilla Presley podnijela je tužbu osporavajući valjanost oporuke kćeri Lise Marie, nakon što je navodno izmijenjena 2016. kako bi se Priscilla i bivši poslovni menadžer Barry Siegel uklonili kao povjerenici. Sin Priscille Presley, Navarone Garibaldi, otvoreno je progovorio o svojoj "nepodnošljivoj" ovisnosti o fentanilu za koju kaže da ga je zamalo ubila, pripisujući zasluge majci što mu je pomogla da se očisti. Garibaldi je otkrio da je trošio oko 3000 eura mjesečno na fentanil, koji je 40 puta jači od heroina. Njegova ovisnost započela je kada ju je nesvjesno uzeo u kombinaciji s drugim rekreativnim drogama.
Navarone Garibaldi otkrio je da mu je majka Priscilla Presley pomogla da prestane biti ovisan o opasnoj drogi fentanil. Mladić je priznao da ga je ovisnost zamalo ubila, ali ga je bivša supruga Elvisa Presleyja spasila na vrijeme. "Mama mi je pomogla, bio sam raspoložen, bio sam beskoristan. To mi je pomoglo da učinim sve", rekao je.
"Trebalo bi oko šest do osam sati s heroinom, ali s fentanilom to morate raditi svakih 45 minuta, inače se počnete razboljevati", rekao je za The Sun i dodao: "Mama mi je pomogla, bio sam indisponiran, bio sam beskoristan. Pomogla mi je u svemu."
Obitelj Presley ranije je bila pogođena ovisnošću u različitim oblicima. Unuk Priscille Presley Ben Keough - sin Garibaldijeve pokojne polusestre Lise Marie i brat glumice Riley - oduzeo si je život 2020. u dobi od 27 godina nakon borbe s ovisnošću. Kokain i alkohol pronađeni su u njegovom organizmu, prema rezultatima njegove obdukcije.

Nakon smrti Elvisa Presleyja 1977. godine, kada je imao samo 42 godine, u tijelu pjevača pronađeno je 14 različitih lijekova. Lisa Marie Presley umrla je u siječnju 2023. u 54. godini od "posljedica opstrukcije tankog crijeva" uzrokovane operacijom mršavljenja. Prema toksikološkom izvješću, utvrđeno je da je u vrijeme smrti tjelesna "terapijska razina" opioida, koja je uključivala buprenorfin, imala lijek koji se ponekad koristi za liječenje ovisnosti o opioidima.
