Humus je ukusan, zdrav, ekonomičan i praktičan - nikakvo čudo što je toliko popularan. No napraviti jako dobar humus ne polazi baš svakome za rukom. Toliko toga može poći po zlu, od okusa do teksture, a dok se o okusima ne raspravlja, o teksturi bi se itekako moglo štošta reći.

Ako vam je nedosanjani san domaći humus glatke, kremaste teksture, onda niste čuli za ovaj trik. U blender, zajedno sa svim ostalim sastojcima po svom guštu, trebate ubaciti još jedan dodatak kojeg se sami, vjerojatno, nikad ne biste sjetili. No najprije, ako želite baš, baš savršenu teksturu, trebate uložiti malo truda i riješiti se ljuskica.

To ćete najlakše napraviti ako slanutak dobro skuhate - koristite li konzervirani, prokuhajte ga još malo - a zatim ga ocijedite i stavite na kuhinjsku krpu. Trljajte ga kroz krpu i ljuskice će se same odvojiti. No ako i preskočite ovaj korak, dodatak koji smo spomenuli i dalje će učiniti primjetnu razliku.

Dakle, u blender ćete trebati ubaciti i koju kockicu leda. Njihov će zadatak biti u tome što će omogućiti da veća količina zraka uđe u humus dok se miješa u blenderu, a posljedica toga bit će prozračnija, svilenkastija tekstura.

Još jedan savjet: nije svejedno kojim ćete redoslijedom ubaciti sastojke u blender. Tahini i sok od limuna trebaju ići prvi i miksati se zajedno oko minutu, a tek potomje preporučljivo dodati ostale sastojke.

Humus je ukusan, zdrav, ekonomičan i praktičan - nikakvo čudo što je toliko popularan. No napraviti jako dobar humus ne polazi baš svakome za rukom. Toliko toga može poći po zlu, od okusa do teksture, a dok se o okusima ne raspravlja, o teksturi bi se itekako moglo štošta reći.

Ako vam je nedosanjani san domaći humus glatke, kremaste teksture, onda niste čuli za ovaj trik. U blender, zajedno sa svim ostalim sastojcima po svom guštu, trebate ubaciti još jedan dodatak kojeg se sami, vjerojatno, nikad ne biste sjetili. No najprije, ako želite baš, baš savršenu teksturu, trebate uložiti malo truda i riješiti se ljuskica.

To ćete najlakše napraviti ako slanutak dobro skuhate - koristite li konzervirani, prokuhajte ga još malo - a zatim ga ocijedite i stavite na kuhinjsku krpu. Trljajte ga kroz krpu i ljuskice će se same odvojiti. No ako i preskočite ovaj korak, dodatak koji smo spomenuli i dalje će učiniti primjetnu razliku.

Dakle, u blender ćete trebati ubaciti i koju kockicu leda. Njihov će zadatak biti u tome što će omogućiti da veća količina zraka uđe u humus dok se miješa u blenderu, a posljedica toga bit će prozračnija, svilenkastija tekstura.

Još jedan savjet: nije svejedno kojim ćete redoslijedom ubaciti sastojke u blender. Tahini i sok od limuna trebaju ići prvi i miksati se zajedno oko minutu, a tek potomje preporučljivo dodati ostale sastojke.

Humus je ukusan, zdrav, ekonomičan i praktičan - nikakvo čudo što je toliko popularan. No napraviti jako dobar humus ne polazi baš svakome za rukom. Toliko toga može poći po zlu, od okusa do teksture, a dok se o okusima ne raspravlja, o teksturi bi se itekako moglo štošta reći.

Ako vam je nedosanjani san domaći humus glatke, kremaste teksture, onda niste čuli za ovaj trik. U blender, zajedno sa svim ostalim sastojcima po svom guštu, trebate ubaciti još jedan dodatak kojeg se sami, vjerojatno, nikad ne biste sjetili. No najprije, ako želite baš, baš savršenu teksturu, trebate uložiti malo truda i riješiti se ljuskica.
