Ako ste i vi u nedoumici što s obiljem domaćih mandarina, a ne da vam se praviti sirup za koji smo vam nedavno dali recept, razmislite o pothvatu zvanom marmelada od mandarina. Za razliku od većine drugih pothvata, ovaj ćete poprilično lako izvesti. Najveći problem bit će vam pronaći dovoljno odgovarajućih staklenki.
Kad ste ih pronašli, bacite se na guljenje mandarina, što je uvijek lakše u društvu ili bar uz nešto zanimljivo za gledanje, a ako ste produhovljen tip iskoristite tu aktivnost kao meditaciju u pokretu. Nećete ni promijetiti, a sve će mandarine biti spremne za preradu.

Ne znamo s kolikom količinom raspolažete pa vam nudimo recept za kilogram mandarina, a matematiku prepuštamo vama. Napomenut ćemo još samo da je navedena količina šećera nekakv prosjek koji se prilagođava slatkoći voća s kojim raspolažete. Vama ćemo prepustiti i odliku hoćete li mandarine prije kuhanja malo usitniti u blenderu ili ne.
Ako se na pola kuhanja predomislite, nema veze, jer i skuhanu marmeladu možete malo usitniti štapnim mikserom kako bi joj tekstura bila finija (samo pričekajte da se malo ohladi inače stvari mogu postati nezgodne).

Dodat ćemo i da nikakvo usitnjavanje nije ni najmanje nužno. Samo ih dobro pospremite u sterilizirane staklenke mi uživajte u okusu domaće marmelade.
Ako želite voću dodati i koju koricu mandarine dok se kuha, samo naprijed, ali je prethodno dobro prokuhajte par puta, mijenjajući svaki put vodu te je zatim dodajte voću kad ga stavite kuhati. Dobit ćete zanimljiviju aromu, ali ako imate osjetljivu probavu ovaj dio preskočite.

Marmelada od mandarina
Sastojci:
1 kilogram mandarina
1 limun
500 g šećera
100 ml vode
Priprema:
Ogulite voće, stavite ga u veći i širi lonac pa mu dodajte šećer, vodu i sok od limuna. Nakon što zakuha, smanjite temperaturu pa kuhajte između oko sat vremena na laganoj vatri uz povremeno miješanje.
Gotovo je kad se sirup koji ste zagrabili žličicom i stavili na tanjurić pa tanjurić nagnuli sporo slijeva niz njegovu površinu. Prebacite marmeladu u vruće staklenke (iz pećnice), zatvorite ih i nakon što se ohlade, čuvajte ih na tamnom i hladnom mjestu.

Ako ste i vi u nedoumici što s obiljem domaćih mandarina, a ne da vam se praviti sirup za koji smo vam nedavno dali recept, razmislite o pothvatu zvanom marmelada od mandarina. Za razliku od većine drugih pothvata, ovaj ćete poprilično lako izvesti. Najveći problem bit će vam pronaći dovoljno odgovarajućih staklenki.
Kad ste ih pronašli, bacite se na guljenje mandarina, što je uvijek lakše u društvu ili bar uz nešto zanimljivo za gledanje, a ako ste produhovljen tip iskoristite tu aktivnost kao meditaciju u pokretu. Nećete ni promijetiti, a sve će mandarine biti spremne za preradu.

Ne znamo s kolikom količinom raspolažete pa vam nudimo recept za kilogram mandarina, a matematiku prepuštamo vama. Napomenut ćemo još samo da je navedena količina šećera nekakv prosjek koji se prilagođava slatkoći voća s kojim raspolažete. Vama ćemo prepustiti i odliku hoćete li mandarine prije kuhanja malo usitniti u blenderu ili ne.
Ako se na pola kuhanja predomislite, nema veze, jer i skuhanu marmeladu možete malo usitniti štapnim mikserom kako bi joj tekstura bila finija (samo pričekajte da se malo ohladi inače stvari mogu postati nezgodne).

Dodat ćemo i da nikakvo usitnjavanje nije ni najmanje nužno. Samo ih dobro pospremite u sterilizirane staklenke mi uživajte u okusu domaće marmelade.
Ako želite voću dodati i koju koricu mandarine dok se kuha, samo naprijed, ali je prethodno dobro prokuhajte par puta, mijenjajući svaki put vodu te je zatim dodajte voću kad ga stavite kuhati. Dobit ćete zanimljiviju aromu, ali ako imate osjetljivu probavu ovaj dio preskočite.

Marmelada od mandarina
Sastojci:
1 kilogram mandarina
1 limun
500 g šećera
100 ml vode
Priprema:
Ogulite voće, stavite ga u veći i širi lonac pa mu dodajte šećer, vodu i sok od limuna. Nakon što zakuha, smanjite temperaturu pa kuhajte između oko sat vremena na laganoj vatri uz povremeno miješanje.
Gotovo je kad se sirup koji ste zagrabili žličicom i stavili na tanjurić pa tanjurić nagnuli sporo slijeva niz njegovu površinu. Prebacite marmeladu u vruće staklenke (iz pećnice), zatvorite ih i nakon što se ohlade, čuvajte ih na tamnom i hladnom mjestu.
