Jedan je Gire. Tko ga ne zna, ako uopće još ima takvih, može misliti da pretjerujemo, ali kad malo bolje promislimo - ne pretjerujemo. Gire danas slavi 70. rođendan i ovo je naša čestitka.

Ivica Grubišić Gire desetljećima je institucija istoka Splita, točnije Sirobuje kojoj je bio prvi predsjednik, pazite sad, još 1986. godine čim je postala samostalna mjesna zajednica u sklopu tadašnje Općine Split u bivšoj Jugoslaviji. Tako možemo reći da su Gire i Sirobuja rasli zajedno.

Kroz vremena kad je ovo naselje bilo sinonim za kvart divlje izgrađenih kuća, zapuštenu periferiju grada u najgorem kontekstu pa sve do danas kada Sirobuja postaje sve poželjnije mjesto za život sve više obitelji jer je to sada urbanizirani kvart.

A sjetimo se samo muke kroz koju su prošli njegovi stanovnici dok nisu dobili kanalizaciju i svu ostalu infrastrukturu koja je standard u 21. stoljeću. Sirobuja je uzeta kao pilot projekt legalizacije bespravno izgrađenih naselja od strane Grada Splita i uspješno je položila taj test.

Sve sami, svojim rukama

Sirobujani su, valja podsjetiti, sufinancirali izgradnju komunalne infrastrukture s 10 milijuna kuna koji su im se priznali prilikom plaćanja komunalnog doprinosa za legalizaciju njihovih kuća.

Osim kanalizacije, postavila se i nova vodovodna mreža, podzemna elektro mreža, telefonska mreža, javna rasvjeta, a nakon svega ulice su dobile novi asfalt. E, da, zvuči ovako jednostavno. Ali potpisnica ovih redaka nazočila je osobno brojnim zborovima građana koji su se tih dana svako malo održavali na Sirobuji.

Nije baš bilo kao na operi, ako me razumijete. Poletjele bi svakakve riječi, jer je i ljudima sve to bilo novo, imali su sto pitanja. Gire bi to brzo smirio. Naravno, kad svakog od svojih sumještana zna u dušu. I oni njega.

Svakako, da nije bilo Gire...mogli su se svi skupa slikat. Taj se, posvjedočit će to zaposlenici Banovine, svima već popeo na vrh glave. Kampirao je u zgradi gradske uprave, obijao urede, sve dok ne bi dobio ono po što je došao.

Malo se njih može pohvaliti činjenicom da je u svojih 70 godina skupio čak 50 godina društvenog rada. I da je predsjednik kotara od 1986. do dana današnjeg uz samo jednu pauzu od 2018. do 2022. godine, kada je bio savjetnik za komunalu gradonačelniku Andri Krstuloviću Opari. Zapravo, poanta je u tome da Gire može biti predsjednik kotara Sirobuja kad god to poželi. Zato... jedan je Gire. Sretan mu rođendan!

Jedan je Gire. Tko ga ne zna, ako uopće još ima takvih, može misliti da pretjerujemo, ali kad malo bolje promislimo - ne pretjerujemo. Gire danas slavi 70. rođendan i ovo je naša čestitka.

Ivica Grubišić Gire desetljećima je institucija istoka Splita, točnije Sirobuje kojoj je bio prvi predsjednik, pazite sad, još 1986. godine čim je postala samostalna mjesna zajednica u sklopu tadašnje Općine Split u bivšoj Jugoslaviji. Tako možemo reći da su Gire i Sirobuja rasli zajedno.

Kroz vremena kad je ovo naselje bilo sinonim za kvart divlje izgrađenih kuća, zapuštenu periferiju grada u najgorem kontekstu pa sve do danas kada Sirobuja postaje sve poželjnije mjesto za život sve više obitelji jer je to sada urbanizirani kvart.

A sjetimo se samo muke kroz koju su prošli njegovi stanovnici dok nisu dobili kanalizaciju i svu ostalu infrastrukturu koja je standard u 21. stoljeću. Sirobuja je uzeta kao pilot projekt legalizacije bespravno izgrađenih naselja od strane Grada Splita i uspješno je položila taj test.

Sve sami, svojim rukama

Sirobujani su, valja podsjetiti, sufinancirali izgradnju komunalne infrastrukture s 10 milijuna kuna koji su im se priznali prilikom plaćanja komunalnog doprinosa za legalizaciju njihovih kuća.

Osim kanalizacije, postavila se i nova vodovodna mreža, podzemna elektro mreža, telefonska mreža, javna rasvjeta, a nakon svega ulice su dobile novi asfalt. E, da, zvuči ovako jednostavno. Ali potpisnica ovih redaka nazočila je osobno brojnim zborovima građana koji su se tih dana svako malo održavali na Sirobuji.

Nije baš bilo kao na operi, ako me razumijete. Poletjele bi svakakve riječi, jer je i ljudima sve to bilo novo, imali su sto pitanja. Gire bi to brzo smirio. Naravno, kad svakog od svojih sumještana zna u dušu. I oni njega.

Svakako, da nije bilo Gire...mogli su se svi skupa slikat. Taj se, posvjedočit će to zaposlenici Banovine, svima već popeo na vrh glave. Kampirao je u zgradi gradske uprave, obijao urede, sve dok ne bi dobio ono po što je došao.

Malo se njih može pohvaliti činjenicom da je u svojih 70 godina skupio čak 50 godina društvenog rada. I da je predsjednik kotara od 1986. do dana današnjeg uz samo jednu pauzu od 2018. do 2022. godine, kada je bio savjetnik za komunalu gradonačelniku Andri Krstuloviću Opari. Zapravo, poanta je u tome da Gire može biti predsjednik kotara Sirobuja kad god to poželi. Zato... jedan je Gire. Sretan mu rođendan!
