Kada se radi o gripi, moram reći da je tijekom posljednjih četiri-pet dana povećan broj pregleda u ambulanti KBC-ove Klinike za infektologiju na Križinama.
No, obavili smo znatno manje pregleda nego u istom lanjskom razdoblju. Situacija je stabilna, iako je intenzitet gripe nešto povećan u odnosu na prethodne dane. Još uvijek, na svu sreću, nemamo ni jednog pacijenta koji bi bio životno ugrožen, a za usporedbu, u istom prošlogodišnjem razdoblju već smo imali dva smrtna slučaja uvjetovana komplikacijama gripe - kazao nam je prof. dr. Boris Lukšić, predstojnik Klinike.
Tijekom proteklih sedam dana županijskom Nastavnom zavodu za javno zdravstvo prijavljeno je stotinjak slučajeva zaraze sezonskim virusom.
- Radi se pretežno o djeci predškolske dobi i učenicima prvih razreda osnovne škole. To je kod njih normalno jer se upravo gripa i najlakše prenosi u vrtićima i u školama. No, situacija je zadovoljavajuća i po ničemu ne odskače od proteklih godina, dapače, čini se da je aktualna sezona gripe relativno blaga - ustvrdila je dr. Diana Nonković, šefica epidemiološke službe na Higijenskom.
Međutim, s druge strane, sezonske viroze napunile su čekaonice ispred ordinacija liječnika opće prakse, ali i onih pedijatrijskih. Vrtići i škole su desetkovani, pa je tako u jednom od razreda osmoljetke na istoku grada od 24 sedmaša na nastavu došlo njih devetero, a dan kasnije samo osmero školaraca.
Broj učenika varira i u ostalim odjeljenjima. Zbog zdravstvenih teškoća u pravilu s nastave izostaje po nekoliko djece, no srećom se oni za dan, dva ili tri vraćaju u klupe. Povišena temperatura, curenje iz nosa i grlobolja najčešći su simptomi s kojima se mali i veliki pacijenti javljaju svojim liječnicima koji uvjeravaju kako razloga za paniku nema unatoč pričama o koronavirusu iz Kine s kojima nas “bombardiraju” sa svih strana.
- Svi pričaju o virusu iz Kine, no odmah moram kazati kako se stvara nepotrebna senzacija i po broju slučajeva i liječenju jer se tu ništa posebno ne događa, a samo se stvara panika. Slika malih pacijenata koji nam se javljaju u ordinaciju je uobičajena za ovo doba godine gdje imate virusne infekcije i nešto bakterijskih infekcija gornjeg dišnog sustava.
Zapravo, uobičajena situacija s kojom se susrećemo u ovo doba godine - ističe prof. dr. Vjekoslav Krželj, iskusni liječnik iz poliklinike “Pediatri” kojeg smo uspjeli dobiti na mobitel za razliku od nekoliko njegovih koleg(ic)a koji doista nisu imali ni sekunde slobodnog vremena zbog čekaonica punih malih pacijenata.
Opasne kapljice
Dr. Krželj savjetuje kako uvijek, a ne samo sad, treba redovito prati ruke, ne kašljati drugima u lice i odmaknuti se od onih koji kašlju jer se virusi prenose i kapljicama i dodirom, no nekih posebnih mjera prevencije i nema.
- Roditelji su često u dvojbi kada se treba javiti liječniku. Uvijek naglašavam kako nije najvažnije trajanje temperature, kao ni njena visina već treba gledati opće stanje organizma. Treba pratiti kako se dijete ponaša, kako reagira, jede li i pije li kada mu padne temperatura...
Dijete može imati povišenu temperaturu i više dana, ali ako je u dobrom općem stanju, jede i pije, onda ne treba žuriti kod liječnika. No, dijete može imati i jedan dan temperaturu, a da mu je opće stanje dosta loše, izražena je malaksalost, klonulost...
U tom slučaju, posjet liječniku ne smije se odgađati. Kod povišene temperature treba davati lijekove za njezino spuštanje, ibuprofen i paracetamol naizmjenice svakih nekoliko sati, a obavezno treba dobro hidrirati dijete toplim napitcima - preporuka je pedijatra.

Kada se radi o gripi, moram reći da je tijekom posljednjih četiri-pet dana povećan broj pregleda u ambulanti KBC-ove Klinike za infektologiju na Križinama.
No, obavili smo znatno manje pregleda nego u istom lanjskom razdoblju. Situacija je stabilna, iako je intenzitet gripe nešto povećan u odnosu na prethodne dane. Još uvijek, na svu sreću, nemamo ni jednog pacijenta koji bi bio životno ugrožen, a za usporedbu, u istom prošlogodišnjem razdoblju već smo imali dva smrtna slučaja uvjetovana komplikacijama gripe - kazao nam je prof. dr. Boris Lukšić, predstojnik Klinike.
Tijekom proteklih sedam dana županijskom Nastavnom zavodu za javno zdravstvo prijavljeno je stotinjak slučajeva zaraze sezonskim virusom.
- Radi se pretežno o djeci predškolske dobi i učenicima prvih razreda osnovne škole. To je kod njih normalno jer se upravo gripa i najlakše prenosi u vrtićima i u školama. No, situacija je zadovoljavajuća i po ničemu ne odskače od proteklih godina, dapače, čini se da je aktualna sezona gripe relativno blaga - ustvrdila je dr. Diana Nonković, šefica epidemiološke službe na Higijenskom.
Međutim, s druge strane, sezonske viroze napunile su čekaonice ispred ordinacija liječnika opće prakse, ali i onih pedijatrijskih. Vrtići i škole su desetkovani, pa je tako u jednom od razreda osmoljetke na istoku grada od 24 sedmaša na nastavu došlo njih devetero, a dan kasnije samo osmero školaraca.
Broj učenika varira i u ostalim odjeljenjima. Zbog zdravstvenih teškoća u pravilu s nastave izostaje po nekoliko djece, no srećom se oni za dan, dva ili tri vraćaju u klupe. Povišena temperatura, curenje iz nosa i grlobolja najčešći su simptomi s kojima se mali i veliki pacijenti javljaju svojim liječnicima koji uvjeravaju kako razloga za paniku nema unatoč pričama o koronavirusu iz Kine s kojima nas “bombardiraju” sa svih strana.
- Svi pričaju o virusu iz Kine, no odmah moram kazati kako se stvara nepotrebna senzacija i po broju slučajeva i liječenju jer se tu ništa posebno ne događa, a samo se stvara panika. Slika malih pacijenata koji nam se javljaju u ordinaciju je uobičajena za ovo doba godine gdje imate virusne infekcije i nešto bakterijskih infekcija gornjeg dišnog sustava.
Zapravo, uobičajena situacija s kojom se susrećemo u ovo doba godine - ističe prof. dr. Vjekoslav Krželj, iskusni liječnik iz poliklinike “Pediatri” kojeg smo uspjeli dobiti na mobitel za razliku od nekoliko njegovih koleg(ic)a koji doista nisu imali ni sekunde slobodnog vremena zbog čekaonica punih malih pacijenata.
Opasne kapljice
Dr. Krželj savjetuje kako uvijek, a ne samo sad, treba redovito prati ruke, ne kašljati drugima u lice i odmaknuti se od onih koji kašlju jer se virusi prenose i kapljicama i dodirom, no nekih posebnih mjera prevencije i nema.
- Roditelji su često u dvojbi kada se treba javiti liječniku. Uvijek naglašavam kako nije najvažnije trajanje temperature, kao ni njena visina već treba gledati opće stanje organizma. Treba pratiti kako se dijete ponaša, kako reagira, jede li i pije li kada mu padne temperatura...
Dijete može imati povišenu temperaturu i više dana, ali ako je u dobrom općem stanju, jede i pije, onda ne treba žuriti kod liječnika. No, dijete može imati i jedan dan temperaturu, a da mu je opće stanje dosta loše, izražena je malaksalost, klonulost...
U tom slučaju, posjet liječniku ne smije se odgađati. Kod povišene temperature treba davati lijekove za njezino spuštanje, ibuprofen i paracetamol naizmjenice svakih nekoliko sati, a obavezno treba dobro hidrirati dijete toplim napitcima - preporuka je pedijatra.
