Jest da su počeci turističke sezone zadnje dvije godine, najblaže rečeno, manje živopisni nego inače, jest da nam je pandemija poremetila planove, jest da se Rivom isprepliće manje internacionalnih dijalekata nego na što smo navikli krajem svibnja u pitomijim vremenima, ali ima ih, turisti su stigli. Jedna lasta možda ne čini proljeće, ali zato jest jato lasta!

U šetnji Peristilom odmah smo naletjeli na skupinu furešta - mlada ekipa, Poljaka koja je došla ovdje, kažu, da se zabave i upiju kulturu i grad. Već dva dana uživaju u suncu koje je počastilo grad pod Marjanom, a ovdje su bili i prije deset godina.

Moderna vibra

- Split je predivan i puno mi je draže biti ovdje kad nije gužva. Ne gubim prijatelje u bujici ljudi i ne brinem se hoće li čiji lakat završiti na mom rebru. Grad se promijenio od mog prošlog boravka ovdje, niknuli su mnogi kafići i restorani u malim skrivenim uličicama, plaža Žnjan se uredila, a čini mi se da cjelokupni grad isijava nekom modernijom vibrom. Cijepio sam se pa me pandemije nije strah – povjerava mladić Michael i nastavlja s ekipom uživati u čarima Dioklecijanove baštine.

Ninu Medak, studenticu teologije iz Ljubuškog, zatekli smo na Vestibulu dok je sa svojom studentskom klikom i profesorom žustro raspravljala o tome gdje su Zlatna, a gdje Mjedena vrata grada.

- Split je predivan, ljudi su divni, energija mu je nenormalna. Uvijek kad dođem iznova me oduševi. Arhitektura stare gradske jezgre toliko je bogata da samo mogu reći da je Dioklecijan bio pravi "majstor od zanata" – Medak će iskreno prije nego što se vratila živopisnoj polemici.

Uputili se mi opet na Peristil i zabavljeno gledamo Dioklecijanove legionare koji se okreću na trepavicama kako bi namamili kojeg stranca za zajedničku sliku i pritom zaradili koju kunu. Za sekundu se priberemo, uozbiljimo i vratimo inicijalnom zadatku ove naše ekspedicije – fureštima.

Uličice s dušom

Francuskinja Sonia Bois čari Peristila upijala je sama, a u Splitu boravi već tjedan dana.

- Ulice, šušur, događaji, glazba – predivno. Sviđa mi se živost kojom grad diše i što se uvijek nešto događa na ulicama. Splet povijesne atmosfere i urbanizma ostavljaju na mene poseban utisak. Bila sam na Korčuli, u Dubrovniku, na Mljetu, a popela sam se i na Biokovo – ali ne u japankama kao prijatelji Česi – smije se Sonia.

Kako ne bi uvijek svi putovi vodili na Rivu, iz bunta skrećemo u uličice Palače i osluškujemo sinergiju francuskog, engleskog, pa čak i perzijskog jezika.

Irance Ramak i Ali Rezu život je odveo u Kaliforniju, godišnji odmor u Hrvatsku, a avanturistički duh u samu jezgru grada. Supružnici uživaju u čarima Jadrana, hrani, kulturi i mentalitetu.

- Krenuli smo iz Zagreba, pa put juga. Sad smo u Splitu, za nekoliko dana idemo u Dubrovnik, a onda planiramo za Crnu Goru. Sviđaju nam se ove male uličice s dušom, svježi zrak i miris soli. Mene je posebno dojmilo što je jučer u jedanaest sati navečer bila gužva, ljudi su pjevali i plesali, a to je prizor koji mi u Kaliforniji iza sedam navečer ne viđamo – kaže Ramak i nastavlja:

- Hrana je ovdje također odlična. Probali smo pašticadu i njoke te poljički soparnik. Mislimo da se kultura, osim uz lokalce i znamenitosti, najbolje upoznaje kroz hranu – naglašava Ramak kojoj je drago što su otkrili, ne štedi s hvalom, ovaj komadić raja.

Potpun otklon od nametnutih normi učinili su supružnici Chris i Theo, donedavni vlasnici velike marketinške tvrtke u Coloradu. Pandemija im je zadala, ističu, mnogo poslovnih i privatnih udaraca, a oni su joj se odlučili suprotstaviti "maksimalnim uživanjem".

- Umorili smo se, prodali firmu, auta, iznajmili stan, prodali namještaj i putujemo svijetom. Već smo mjesec dana ovdje, a Split nam je prekrasan. Otputovat ćemo svijet, a Hrvatska nam je početna stanica. Cijepljeni smo i preboljeli smo koronu tako da se nemamo čega bojati – zaključuje Theo.

Jest da su počeci turističke sezone zadnje dvije godine, najblaže rečeno, manje živopisni nego inače, jest da nam je pandemija poremetila planove, jest da se Rivom isprepliće manje internacionalnih dijalekata nego na što smo navikli krajem svibnja u pitomijim vremenima, ali ima ih, turisti su stigli. Jedna lasta možda ne čini proljeće, ali zato jest jato lasta!

U šetnji Peristilom odmah smo naletjeli na skupinu furešta - mlada ekipa, Poljaka koja je došla ovdje, kažu, da se zabave i upiju kulturu i grad. Već dva dana uživaju u suncu koje je počastilo grad pod Marjanom, a ovdje su bili i prije deset godina.

Moderna vibra

- Split je predivan i puno mi je draže biti ovdje kad nije gužva. Ne gubim prijatelje u bujici ljudi i ne brinem se hoće li čiji lakat završiti na mom rebru. Grad se promijenio od mog prošlog boravka ovdje, niknuli su mnogi kafići i restorani u malim skrivenim uličicama, plaža Žnjan se uredila, a čini mi se da cjelokupni grad isijava nekom modernijom vibrom. Cijepio sam se pa me pandemije nije strah – povjerava mladić Michael i nastavlja s ekipom uživati u čarima Dioklecijanove baštine.

Ninu Medak, studenticu teologije iz Ljubuškog, zatekli smo na Vestibulu dok je sa svojom studentskom klikom i profesorom žustro raspravljala o tome gdje su Zlatna, a gdje Mjedena vrata grada.

- Split je predivan, ljudi su divni, energija mu je nenormalna. Uvijek kad dođem iznova me oduševi. Arhitektura stare gradske jezgre toliko je bogata da samo mogu reći da je Dioklecijan bio pravi "majstor od zanata" – Medak će iskreno prije nego što se vratila živopisnoj polemici.

Uputili se mi opet na Peristil i zabavljeno gledamo Dioklecijanove legionare koji se okreću na trepavicama kako bi namamili kojeg stranca za zajedničku sliku i pritom zaradili koju kunu. Za sekundu se priberemo, uozbiljimo i vratimo inicijalnom zadatku ove naše ekspedicije – fureštima.

Uličice s dušom

Francuskinja Sonia Bois čari Peristila upijala je sama, a u Splitu boravi već tjedan dana.

- Ulice, šušur, događaji, glazba – predivno. Sviđa mi se živost kojom grad diše i što se uvijek nešto događa na ulicama. Splet povijesne atmosfere i urbanizma ostavljaju na mene poseban utisak. Bila sam na Korčuli, u Dubrovniku, na Mljetu, a popela sam se i na Biokovo – ali ne u japankama kao prijatelji Česi – smije se Sonia.

Kako ne bi uvijek svi putovi vodili na Rivu, iz bunta skrećemo u uličice Palače i osluškujemo sinergiju francuskog, engleskog, pa čak i perzijskog jezika.

Irance Ramak i Ali Rezu život je odveo u Kaliforniju, godišnji odmor u Hrvatsku, a avanturistički duh u samu jezgru grada. Supružnici uživaju u čarima Jadrana, hrani, kulturi i mentalitetu.

- Krenuli smo iz Zagreba, pa put juga. Sad smo u Splitu, za nekoliko dana idemo u Dubrovnik, a onda planiramo za Crnu Goru. Sviđaju nam se ove male uličice s dušom, svježi zrak i miris soli. Mene je posebno dojmilo što je jučer u jedanaest sati navečer bila gužva, ljudi su pjevali i plesali, a to je prizor koji mi u Kaliforniji iza sedam navečer ne viđamo – kaže Ramak i nastavlja:

Iranci vole soparnik

- Hrana je ovdje također odlična. Probali smo pašticadu i njoke te poljički soparnik. Mislimo da se kultura, osim uz lokalce i znamenitosti, najbolje upoznaje kroz hranu – naglašava Ramak kojoj je drago što su otkrili, ne štedi s hvalom, ovaj komadić raja.

Potpun otklon od nametnutih normi učinili su supružnici Chris i Theo, donedavni vlasnici velike marketinške tvrtke u Coloradu. Pandemija im je zadala, ističu, mnogo poslovnih i privatnih udaraca, a oni su joj se odlučili suprotstaviti "maksimalnim uživanjem".

- Umorili smo se, prodali firmu, auta, iznajmili stan, prodali namještaj i putujemo svijetom. Već smo mjesec dana ovdje, a Split nam je prekrasan. Otputovat ćemo svijet, a Hrvatska nam je početna stanica. Cijepljeni smo i preboljeli smo koronu tako da se nemamo čega bojati – zaključuje Theo.
