Jedna od najčešćih operacija u medicini naziva se histerektomija, pa nije potrebno ni govoriti kako je to definitivno najizvođenija ginekološka intervencija uklanjanja maternice.

Tradicionalno se izvodila abdominalnim ili vaginalnim putem, dok se nije pojavio dr. Harry Reich, pionir na polju laparoskopske medicine, koji je 1989. godine izveo prvu laparoskopsku histerektomiju i započeo jedno od najvažnijih poglavlja u modernoj medicini.

Jedan od onih koji je krenuo stopama dr. Reicha je prof. dr. sc. Miroslav Kopjar, koji je svega pet godina poslije izveo isti operativni zahvat u – Zaboku.

- To je najmanje invazivna metoda, a otvara mogućnosti novim tehnologijama. Zamislite što se tek sve da uraditi robotikom, koja je neusporedivo tehnološki skuplja, ali ima prednost pred svima - uvijek je ispred svog vremena dr. Kopjar, kojeg smo "uhvatili" na Klinici za ženske bolesti i porode splitskog KBC-a, gdje je specijalistima ginekologije održavao edukaciju.

Teško je moguće naći boljega mentora, jer prof. Kopjar je kao operater ili kao asistent odradio više od tisuću laparoskopskih uklanjanja maternice.

Zahvaljujući telemedicini, bilo je moguće polaznicima tečaja barem virtualno sudjelovati u operacijama koje su se odvijale kat poviše njih. Povezani s operaterom, u svakom su trenutku procesa bili sudionici s pitanjima, pa i prijedlozima.

- Laparoskopska kirurgija je metoda koja se uči na već savladanoj ginekološkoj kirurgiji. Duže vrijeme je potrebno da se savlada pa stoga treba s “treningom” rano krenuti. To je vještina koja se uči, potrebna je praksa, ne samo knjige i videoprikazi - veli nam prof. Kopjar.

Dr. Mimica je bio na prvoj edukaciji koju je profesor Kopjar održao prije pune 22 godine, odavno su prerasli odnos profesora i studenta, vješti su to operateri, voljni sve što znaju – dijeliti s drugima. Ono što dobar mentor ostavlja iza sebe su jako dobro educirani kolege.

Jedan od onih koji je krenuo stopama dr. Reicha je prof. dr. sc. Miroslav Kopjar, koji je svega pet godina poslije izveo isti operativni zahvat u – Zaboku.

- To je najmanje invazivna metoda, a otvara mogućnosti novim tehnologijama. Zamislite što se tek sve da uraditi robotikom, koja je neusporedivo tehnološki skuplja, ali ima prednost pred svima - uvijek je ispred svog vremena dr. Kopjar, kojeg smo "uhvatili" na Klinici za ženske bolesti i porode splitskog KBC-a, gdje je specijalistima ginekologije održavao edukaciju.

Teško je moguće naći boljega mentora, jer prof. Kopjar je kao operater ili kao asistent odradio više od tisuću laparoskopskih uklanjanja maternice.

Zahvaljujući telemedicini, bilo je moguće polaznicima tečaja barem virtualno sudjelovati u operacijama koje su se odvijale kat poviše njih. Povezani s operaterom, u svakom su trenutku procesa bili sudionici s pitanjima, pa i prijedlozima.

- Laparoskopska kirurgija je metoda koja se uči na već savladanoj ginekološkoj kirurgiji. Duže vrijeme je potrebno da se savlada pa stoga treba s “treningom” rano krenuti. To je vještina koja se uči, potrebna je praksa, ne samo knjige i videoprikazi - veli nam prof. Kopjar.

Dr. Mimica je bio na prvoj edukaciji koju je profesor Kopjar održao prije pune 22 godine, odavno su prerasli odnos profesora i studenta, vješti su to operateri, voljni sve što znaju – dijeliti s drugima. Ono što dobar mentor ostavlja iza sebe su jako dobro educirani kolege.
