U Galeriji fotografije Fotokluba Split, sinoć je otvorena izložba "One nisu stale" poznate splitske fotografkinje Maje Prgomet.
Izložba je izazvala veliki interes Splićana, a posjetiteljima su se obratili Ana Žanko kustosica, Maja Prgomet, autorica, Sonja Grgat i Ivana Frapporti iz udruge Caspera, a izložbu je otvorio Ivica Puljak, gradonačelnik Splita.

Izložba je nastala u okviru kampanje koju provodi Caspera, udruga žena oboljelih i liječenih od karcinoma, pokrenute s ciljem podizanja svijesti o važnosti prevencije i brige za vlastito zdravlje, a posebno s ciljem osvještavanja društva o životu žene s karcinom. Kako Caspericu kažu
– Život naime, nakon dijagnoze, unatoč učestalom mišljenju, ne staje. Istina jest da poprima drugačiji oblik, no nikako se ne zaustavlja. Žena ne prestaje biti ženom i ne gubi svoju bit dijagnozom, bolest ne preuzima cijeli njezin život, nego postaje njegov sastavni dio.
Izložba "One nisu stale" obuhvaća 17 fotografija žena liječenih od karcinoma koje su hrabro stale ispred objektiva poznate fotografkinje Maje Prgomet i odlučile svojim tijelima ispričati vlastitu priču o borbi za život.
Fotografirajući ženska tijela bez lica, autorica ciljano naglasak stavlja na izloženo, ranjeno i ranjivo žensko tijelo, koje istovremeno svjedoči krhkosti života, ali i hrabrosti i snazi odupiranja dijagnozi ili dijagnozama. Usprkos brojnim nastojanjima, medijskim kampanjama i javnom dijalogu o uzrocima, rizicima i posljedicama karcinoma, žene su, kao i u brojnim drugim iznimno važnim pitanjima, u Hrvatskoj najčešće prepuštane same sebi i podršci uskog kruga ljudi.

Žensko je zdravlje, pogotovo reproduktivno zdravlje, tabu tema za koju se društvo osjeća najsigurnije prešutjeti. Žensko tijelo ispunjeno ožiljcima postaje stigma, nešto što bismo radije previdjeli, s čime se ne bismo htjeli suočiti, poručuju.
Kako ističe Ana Žanko, kustosica izložbe:
- One nisu stale nije ciklus o bolesti, o dijagnozi, o strahu, više od toga to je fotografska priča koja svjedoči o hrabrosti, neustrašivosti i dostojanstvu žena koje ne pristaju biti svedene na dijagnozu, na broj i rubriku u statističkom izvještaju i koje odbijaju biti nevidljive, negdje na marginama društvo, samo zato jer njihova tijela možda ne udovoljavaju nečijem kriteriju ljepote.

Izložba je nastala u okviru kampanje koju provodi Caspera, udruga žena oboljelih i liječenih od karcinoma, pokrenute s ciljem podizanja svijesti o važnosti prevencije i brige za vlastito zdravlje, a posebno s ciljem osvještavanja društva o životu žene s karcinom. Kako Caspericu kažu
– Život naime, nakon dijagnoze, unatoč učestalom mišljenju, ne staje. Istina jest da poprima drugačiji oblik, no nikako se ne zaustavlja. Žena ne prestaje biti ženom i ne gubi svoju bit dijagnozom, bolest ne preuzima cijeli njezin život, nego postaje njegov sastavni dio.
Izložba "One nisu stale" obuhvaća 17 fotografija žena liječenih od karcinoma koje su hrabro stale ispred objektiva poznate fotografkinje Maje Prgomet i odlučile svojim tijelima ispričati vlastitu priču o borbi za život.
Fotografirajući ženska tijela bez lica, autorica ciljano naglasak stavlja na izloženo, ranjeno i ranjivo žensko tijelo, koje istovremeno svjedoči krhkosti života, ali i hrabrosti i snazi odupiranja dijagnozi ili dijagnozama. Usprkos brojnim nastojanjima, medijskim kampanjama i javnom dijalogu o uzrocima, rizicima i posljedicama karcinoma, žene su, kao i u brojnim drugim iznimno važnim pitanjima, u Hrvatskoj najčešće prepuštane same sebi i podršci uskog kruga ljudi.

Žensko je zdravlje, pogotovo reproduktivno zdravlje, tabu tema za koju se društvo osjeća najsigurnije prešutjeti. Žensko tijelo ispunjeno ožiljcima postaje stigma, nešto što bismo radije previdjeli, s čime se ne bismo htjeli suočiti, poručuju.
Kako ističe Ana Žanko, kustosica izložbe:
- One nisu stale nije ciklus o bolesti, o dijagnozi, o strahu, više od toga to je fotografska priča koja svjedoči o hrabrosti, neustrašivosti i dostojanstvu žena koje ne pristaju biti svedene na dijagnozu, na broj i rubriku u statističkom izvještaju i koje odbijaju biti nevidljive, negdje na marginama društvo, samo zato jer njihova tijela možda ne udovoljavaju nečijem kriteriju ljepote.
