Danas se na splitskoj Rivi, unatoč lošem vremenu, održala javnozdravstvena akcija Dani žutih ruža kojom se želi podići svijest o endometriozi i senzibilizirati javnost o ovoj kroničnoj bolesti.
- Cilj ove javnozdravstvene akcije je svečano obilježavanje druge godišnjice proglašenja 1. ožujka kao hrvatskog Dana podizanja svijesti o endometriozi, informiranje i senzibiliziranje javnosti o endometriozi, kao i o važnosti pravovremenog otkrivanja i uspješnog liječenja ove bolesti.

Cilj je i promicanje, razvitak i unaprjeđenje prava oboljelih žena, posebno onih kod kojih je došlo do tjelesnog oštećenja i invalidnosti, kako bi se putem ove javnozdravstvene akcije mogle pouzdano informirati o mogućnostima koje im stoje na raspolaganju prilikom liječenja endometrioze, čime bi si poboljšale narušenu kvalitetu života - navodi Dina Juranović, prvostupnica sestrinstva u KBC-u Split, te jedna od organizatorica ove javnozdravstvene akcije i jedna od pokretačica buduće splitske podružnice Udruge žena oboljelih od endometrioze.

Sve navedene aktivnosti provodile su se u direktnoj komunikaciji sa zainteresiranim građanima te putem dijeljenja informativnih letaka. Također će se skupljati dobrovoljni prilozi za rad Udruge dijeljenjem žutih ruža koje su simbol Udruge.
Inače, endometrioza je kronična bolest koju karakterizira pojava tkiva sluznice koja oblaže maternicu (endometrija) na različitim mjestima u tijelu na kojima se inače ne bi trebalo nalaziti, odnosno bilo gdje izvan maternice.
Za vrijeme menstruacije, žena s endometriozom krvari, ne samo iz maternice, nego i iz svih tih otočića endometrija izvan maternice. Nakupljena krv nadražuje organe i izaziva iritaciju, grčeve i bol. Često se pojavljuju i vezivne, ožiljkaste priraslice koje mogu pridonijeti nastanku kronične boli.

Danas se na splitskoj Rivi, unatoč lošem vremenu, održala javnozdravstvena akcija Dani žutih ruža kojom se želi podići svijest o endometriozi i senzibilizirati javnost o ovoj kroničnoj bolesti.
- Cilj ove javnozdravstvene akcije je svečano obilježavanje druge godišnjice proglašenja 1. ožujka kao hrvatskog Dana podizanja svijesti o endometriozi, informiranje i senzibiliziranje javnosti o endometriozi, kao i o važnosti pravovremenog otkrivanja i uspješnog liječenja ove bolesti.

Cilj je i promicanje, razvitak i unaprjeđenje prava oboljelih žena, posebno onih kod kojih je došlo do tjelesnog oštećenja i invalidnosti, kako bi se putem ove javnozdravstvene akcije mogle pouzdano informirati o mogućnostima koje im stoje na raspolaganju prilikom liječenja endometrioze, čime bi si poboljšale narušenu kvalitetu života - navodi Dina Juranović, prvostupnica sestrinstva u KBC-u Split, te jedna od organizatorica ove javnozdravstvene akcije i jedna od pokretačica buduće splitske podružnice Udruge žena oboljelih od endometrioze.

Sve navedene aktivnosti provodile su se u direktnoj komunikaciji sa zainteresiranim građanima te putem dijeljenja informativnih letaka. Također će se skupljati dobrovoljni prilozi za rad Udruge dijeljenjem žutih ruža koje su simbol Udruge.
Inače, endometrioza je kronična bolest koju karakterizira pojava tkiva sluznice koja oblaže maternicu (endometrija) na različitim mjestima u tijelu na kojima se inače ne bi trebalo nalaziti, odnosno bilo gdje izvan maternice.
Za vrijeme menstruacije, žena s endometriozom krvari, ne samo iz maternice, nego i iz svih tih otočića endometrija izvan maternice. Nakupljena krv nadražuje organe i izaziva iritaciju, grčeve i bol. Često se pojavljuju i vezivne, ožiljkaste priraslice koje mogu pridonijeti nastanku kronične boli.
