Imati svoj auto ultimativni je komod. Nekome tko tako razmišlja, napori vlasti europskih gradova koji svoje stanovnike na različite načine stimuliraju da koriste javni gradski prijevoz ne prima se baš.
Mislim, po gradu se vozit‘ autobusom? Nema šanse!
Nije ni čudo što se - neću dalje od Splita, tu poznajem situaciju - javni gradski promet tako doživljava. Bilo je, naime, vremena kad su ljudi u "Prometovim" autobusima bili natisnuti kao sardine, a vozač nije htio - možda ni mogao - krenuti dok se ne popuni i zadnji kubni milimetar prostora kako bi uopće uspio zatvoriti vrata.
U ta neka ranija vremena, vožnja autobusom bila je prava avantura - nikad nisi znao hoće li koji "preskočiti" ili zakasniti, hoće li uopće doći, hoće li u "špicama" biti mjesta ili nećeš uspjeti ući.

Autobusi derutni, često prljavi. Ali autobusne vožnje bile su zlatni rudnik za novinare i gradsku rubriku, osobito mome dragom pokojnom kolegi Draženu Duilu koji je autobusom dolazio iz Solina, i meni koja sam dolazila iz predgrađa.
Šta smo sve doživljavali - od one čuvene Duilove priče kad je njegova ‘jedinica‘ upala u Pekine kumpire, do bakice koja me je usred prepune "trice", u kojoj sam čitala Tribusonov roman "Povijest pornografije", na sav glas pohvalila što - zavarana, valjda, dimenzijama knjige - čitam Bibliju.
Naravno, čim sam se dokopala auta - prvo očevog, pa vlastitog - rekla sam adio "Prometu" i autobusima i gužvama i pokaznim kartama i timbravanju i nervozi i preglasnim putnicima i "alo, šofer, ima izać!" i "kako te nije sram ne pustit starijeg čovika da sidne", itd., itd., i na posao konačno počela odlaziti "ka čovik", ne vodeći više računa o fluidnom i neuhvatljivom redu vožnje "Prometovih" buseva.

Načelno, nisam imala ništa protiv vožnje javnim gradskim prijevozom. Ali uvjeti su znali biti teško podnošljivi. Novi "zeleni" trendovi, uštede energije i smanjenje emisija stakleničkih plinova tako što se po gradu koristi gradski prijevoz umjesto automobila, kod nas su još bili daleka zapadnjačka fantazija.
A mjesta za ostaviti auto uvijek se nađe: oni spretniji na kornižu, bezobzirniji na mjestu za invalide ili tako da nekoga zagrade "samo na sekundicu", a ako baš nema nikakve druge mogućnosti, onda čak i na plaćenom parkingu.
Ispočetka je s autom bilo okej. Onda je trebalo sve više vremena da se nađe slobodno mjesto. Potrage su postajale sve duže, a krugovi oko zgrade u kojoj radim sve širi; na koncu sam počela parkirati na mjestima koja su tražila toliko pješačenja da sam tako na posao mogla i pješice. Pa sam onda doista i otkrila pješačenje i sve rjeđe vozila auto.
Dok na koncu nisam potpuno odustala.
Ali jedno je pješačiti kad ti je gušt, i ne žuri ti se, i ne pada kiša, ne puše bura, nije upeklo ljetno sunce itd. Nešto je sasvim drugo kad ti to ostane jedini način odlaska na posao i povratka s posla.

Pa sam se odlučila, u situacijama kad mi nije bilo zgodno pješačiti, vratiti se "Prometu". Pa kako bude. I doživjela "prometno otkrivenje".
Ukratko, od onog "Prometa" od prije nekoliko desetljeća nije ostalo ništa.
Svaki dan vozim se u ugodnim, udobnim, čistim autobusima koji dolaze na vrijeme. Koristim "Prometovu" mobitelsku aplikaciju preko koje kupujem kartu i "timbrajem" QR kod.
Na autobusnim stanicama postavljeni su displeji koji pokazuju za koliko minuta stiže neki autobus. Ali ja se ne osvrćem na to - aplikacija ima opciju praćenja autobusa, pa tako u svakom trenutku znam gdje je onaj koji mi treba, dokle je stigao i kad ćemo se on i ja susresti. Ne gubim ni jednu jedinu minutu na čekanje.

Ne znam što bi mi od javnog gradskog prijevoza još trebalo - osim da bude besplatan, ali to je druga priča, drukčiji način financiranja gradske komunalne tvrtke tog tipa, ali velika i višestruka korist. Neki europski gradovi već prakticiraju besplatan javni prijevoz, ali ta priča neka ostane za drugi put.
I da - u autobusu sve češće srećem poznanike koji imaju auto, ali se odlučuju voziti autobusom jer znaju što ih čeka sjednu li za volan. I ugodno su iznenađeni, kao i ja. Dobro za putnike, za "Promet", za grad, za zrak.
Da ne bude zabune - ne radim u "Prometu" i ovaj članak nije plaćena reklama. Ali jest reklama za jednu bolju opciju urbanog življenja.

Imati svoj auto ultimativni je komod. Nekome tko tako razmišlja, napori vlasti europskih gradova koji svoje stanovnike na različite načine stimuliraju da koriste javni gradski prijevoz ne prima se baš.
Mislim, po gradu se vozit‘ autobusom? Nema šanse!
Nije ni čudo što se - neću dalje od Splita, tu poznajem situaciju - javni gradski promet tako doživljava. Bilo je, naime, vremena kad su ljudi u "Prometovim" autobusima bili natisnuti kao sardine, a vozač nije htio - možda ni mogao - krenuti dok se ne popuni i zadnji kubni milimetar prostora kako bi uopće uspio zatvoriti vrata.
U ta neka ranija vremena, vožnja autobusom bila je prava avantura - nikad nisi znao hoće li koji "preskočiti" ili zakasniti, hoće li uopće doći, hoće li u "špicama" biti mjesta ili nećeš uspjeti ući.

Autobusi derutni, često prljavi. Ali autobusne vožnje bile su zlatni rudnik za novinare i gradsku rubriku, osobito mome dragom pokojnom kolegi Draženu Duilu koji je autobusom dolazio iz Solina, i meni koja sam dolazila iz predgrađa.
Šta smo sve doživljavali - od one čuvene Duilove priče kad je njegova ‘jedinica‘ upala u Pekine kumpire, do bakice koja me je usred prepune "trice", u kojoj sam čitala Tribusonov roman "Povijest pornografije", na sav glas pohvalila što - zavarana, valjda, dimenzijama knjige - čitam Bibliju.
Naravno, čim sam se dokopala auta - prvo očevog, pa vlastitog - rekla sam adio "Prometu" i autobusima i gužvama i pokaznim kartama i timbravanju i nervozi i preglasnim putnicima i "alo, šofer, ima izać!" i "kako te nije sram ne pustit starijeg čovika da sidne", itd., itd., i na posao konačno počela odlaziti "ka čovik", ne vodeći više računa o fluidnom i neuhvatljivom redu vožnje "Prometovih" buseva.

Načelno, nisam imala ništa protiv vožnje javnim gradskim prijevozom. Ali uvjeti su znali biti teško podnošljivi. Novi "zeleni" trendovi, uštede energije i smanjenje emisija stakleničkih plinova tako što se po gradu koristi gradski prijevoz umjesto automobila, kod nas su još bili daleka zapadnjačka fantazija.
A mjesta za ostaviti auto uvijek se nađe: oni spretniji na kornižu, bezobzirniji na mjestu za invalide ili tako da nekoga zagrade "samo na sekundicu", a ako baš nema nikakve druge mogućnosti, onda čak i na plaćenom parkingu.
Ispočetka je s autom bilo okej. Onda je trebalo sve više vremena da se nađe slobodno mjesto. Potrage su postajale sve duže, a krugovi oko zgrade u kojoj radim sve širi; na koncu sam počela parkirati na mjestima koja su tražila toliko pješačenja da sam tako na posao mogla i pješice. Pa sam onda doista i otkrila pješačenje i sve rjeđe vozila auto.
Dok na koncu nisam potpuno odustala.
Ali jedno je pješačiti kad ti je gušt, i ne žuri ti se, i ne pada kiša, ne puše bura, nije upeklo ljetno sunce itd. Nešto je sasvim drugo kad ti to ostane jedini način odlaska na posao i povratka s posla.

Pa sam se odlučila, u situacijama kad mi nije bilo zgodno pješačiti, vratiti se "Prometu". Pa kako bude. I doživjela "prometno otkrivenje".
Ukratko, od onog "Prometa" od prije nekoliko desetljeća nije ostalo ništa.
Svaki dan vozim se u ugodnim, udobnim, čistim autobusima koji dolaze na vrijeme. Koristim "Prometovu" mobitelsku aplikaciju preko koje kupujem kartu i "timbrajem" QR kod.
Na autobusnim stanicama postavljeni su displeji koji pokazuju za koliko minuta stiže neki autobus. Ali ja se ne osvrćem na to - aplikacija ima opciju praćenja autobusa, pa tako u svakom trenutku znam gdje je onaj koji mi treba, dokle je stigao i kad ćemo se on i ja susresti. Ne gubim ni jednu jedinu minutu na čekanje.

Ne znam što bi mi od javnog gradskog prijevoza još trebalo - osim da bude besplatan, ali to je druga priča, drukčiji način financiranja gradske komunalne tvrtke tog tipa, ali velika i višestruka korist. Neki europski gradovi već prakticiraju besplatan javni prijevoz, ali ta priča neka ostane za drugi put.
I da - u autobusu sve češće srećem poznanike koji imaju auto, ali se odlučuju voziti autobusom jer znaju što ih čeka sjednu li za volan. I ugodno su iznenađeni, kao i ja. Dobro za putnike, za "Promet", za grad, za zrak.
Da ne bude zabune - ne radim u "Prometu" i ovaj članak nije plaćena reklama. Ali jest reklama za jednu bolju opciju urbanog življenja.
