Posljednjeg dana europskog taekwondo prvenstva u Beogradu Hrvatska je stigla do nove dvije medalje osvojivši tako sedam odličja, a apsolutno fenomenalna bila je tek 17-godišnja Splićanka Nika Karabatić iz Marjanove tvornice talenata koja je osvojila naslov prvakinje Europe. I to na kakav spektakularan način. 

Članica splitskog taekwondo kluba Marjan Nika Karabatić stigla je do svoje prve seniorske medalje na velikim natjecanjima sa samo 17 godina. Na putu prema odličju Nika je bila fenomenalna, u prvoj je borbi slavila s 2:0 u rundama protiv Dankinje Mahnu, u drugom kolu bila bolja od Nizozemke Schoenmakers s uvjerljivih 2:0 u rundama da bi u četvrtfinalu pobijedila veliku Turkinju Hatice Kubru Ilgun koja u karijeri ima devet velikih seniorskih odličja od čega medalje sa posljednja dva svjetska prvenstva, olimpijskih igara u Tokiju i naslov prvakinje Europe iz Manchestera tako da je u Beograd stigla kao aktualna prvakinja Europe. Nika je odradila izvrsnu borbu i nakon rovovske bitke i 1:1 u rundama u trećoj doslovno pomela Turkinju s 11:0.

Polufinalni sraz protiv izvrsne Mađarice Marton Nika je odradila u visokom ritmu i stilom rutinera te deklasirala aktualnu svjetsku prvakinju 11:2 i 16:4. U finalu protiv Jade Jones, dvostruke olimpijske pobjednice, višestruke svjetske i europske prvakinje Nika je pokazala nevjerojatnu mirnoću. Slavila je s 2:1 u rundama i tako ujedinila naslove europske prvakinje u svim uzrasnim kategorijama, od kadeta, juniora, mlađih seniora do seniora. Ovim naslovom prvakinje Europe Hrvatska je stigla do trećeg zlata i vrlo vjerojatno će ponijeti i ekipni naslov prvaka Europe u sveukupnom poretku seniora i seniorki. 

Ivana Arelić iz zagrebačkog Oriona je u prvoj borbi do 62 kilograma slavila protiv neugodne  Bjeloruskinje Smiychkova s 2:0 u rundama da bi s novih 2:0 protiv Makedonke Reljikj u četvrtfinalu osigurala šesto odličje za Hrvatsku na smotri najboljih na starom kontinentu. U polufinalu je s tijesnih 0:2 u rundama, ali 3:3 i 2:3 po rundama zaustavljena od Iranke Kimije Alizadih koja sad nastupa za Bugarsku, a u karijeri ima deset odličja s tri najveća natjecanja. Ivana je tako osvojila brončano odličje na EP u Beogradu. 

Borci Marjana tako u Split nose novih pet seniorskih medalja. 

Paško Božić je u teškoj kategoriji zaustavljen od Poljaka Haremze s 0:2 u rundama dok je Leon Hrgota u kategoriji do 74 kg nakon pobjede protiv Moldavca Suleaca s 2:1 u rundama u drugom kolu izgubio od trećeg nositelja Gruzijca Kintsurashvili 0:2 u rundama. Dodajmo da su i Poljak i Gruzijac kasnije otišli do pobjedničkog postolja.

Posljednjeg dana europskog taekwondo prvenstva u Beogradu Hrvatska je stigla do nove dvije medalje osvojivši tako sedam odličja, a apsolutno fenomenalna bila je tek 17-godišnja Splićanka Nika Karabatić iz Marjanove tvornice talenata koja je osvojila naslov prvakinje Europe. I to na kakav spektakularan način. 

Članica splitskog taekwondo kluba Marjan Nika Karabatić stigla je do svoje prve seniorske medalje na velikim natjecanjima sa samo 17 godina. Na putu prema odličju Nika je bila fenomenalna, u prvoj je borbi slavila s 2:0 u rundama protiv Dankinje Mahnu, u drugom kolu bila bolja od Nizozemke Schoenmakers s uvjerljivih 2:0 u rundama da bi u četvrtfinalu pobijedila veliku Turkinju Hatice Kubru Ilgun koja u karijeri ima devet velikih seniorskih odličja od čega medalje sa posljednja dva svjetska prvenstva, olimpijskih igara u Tokiju i naslov prvakinje Europe iz Manchestera tako da je u Beograd stigla kao aktualna prvakinja Europe. Nika je odradila izvrsnu borbu i nakon rovovske bitke i 1:1 u rundama u trećoj doslovno pomela Turkinju s 11:0.

Polufinalni sraz protiv izvrsne Mađarice Marton Nika je odradila u visokom ritmu i stilom rutinera te deklasirala aktualnu svjetsku prvakinju 11:2 i 16:4. U finalu protiv Jade Jones, dvostruke olimpijske pobjednice, višestruke svjetske i europske prvakinje Nika je pokazala nevjerojatnu mirnoću. Slavila je s 2:1 u rundama i tako ujedinila naslove europske prvakinje u svim uzrasnim kategorijama, od kadeta, juniora, mlađih seniora do seniora. Ovim naslovom prvakinje Europe Hrvatska je stigla do trećeg zlata i vrlo vjerojatno će ponijeti i ekipni naslov prvaka Europe u sveukupnom poretku seniora i seniorki. 

Ivana Arelić iz zagrebačkog Oriona je u prvoj borbi do 62 kilograma slavila protiv neugodne  Bjeloruskinje Smiychkova s 2:0 u rundama da bi s novih 2:0 protiv Makedonke Reljikj u četvrtfinalu osigurala šesto odličje za Hrvatsku na smotri najboljih na starom kontinentu. U polufinalu je s tijesnih 0:2 u rundama, ali 3:3 i 2:3 po rundama zaustavljena od Iranke Kimije Alizadih koja sad nastupa za Bugarsku, a u karijeri ima deset odličja s tri najveća natjecanja. Ivana je tako osvojila brončano odličje na EP u Beogradu. 

Borci Marjana tako u Split nose novih pet seniorskih medalja. 

Paško Božić je u teškoj kategoriji zaustavljen od Poljaka Haremze s 0:2 u rundama dok je Leon Hrgota u kategoriji do 74 kg nakon pobjede protiv Moldavca Suleaca s 2:1 u rundama u drugom kolu izgubio od trećeg nositelja Gruzijca Kintsurashvili 0:2 u rundama. Dodajmo da su i Poljak i Gruzijac kasnije otišli do pobjedničkog postolja.

Posljednjeg dana europskog taekwondo prvenstva u Beogradu Hrvatska je stigla do nove dvije medalje osvojivši tako sedam odličja, a apsolutno fenomenalna bila je tek 17-godišnja Splićanka Nika Karabatić iz Marjanove tvornice talenata koja je osvojila naslov prvakinje Europe. I to na kakav spektakularan način. 

Članica splitskog taekwondo kluba Marjan Nika Karabatić stigla je do svoje prve seniorske medalje na velikim natjecanjima sa samo 17 godina.
