Poslije izbornika Luisa de la Fuentea pred sedmu silu je dan prije finala Lige nacija s Hrvatskom na stadionu De Kuip u Rotterdamu izišao trenutno najbolji igrač Španjolske Rodri. Veznjak Manchester Cityja je u polufinalu s Italijom (2:1) izabran za najboljeg igrača utakmice, a istu je titulu strijelac jedinog gola na utakmici omiljeni veznjak Pepa Guardiole imao i u finalu Lige prvaka s Interom.

Igraš li trenutno najbolji nogomet karijere?

- Mislim da igram, zbog zrelosti, osvojenih trofeja... Želio bih da se to nastavi tako i u reprezentaciji. Voljeli bismo opet osvojiti trofej s reprezentacijom. To bi bio idealan kraj ove sezone – rekao je Rodri.

Odigrao si 50 utakmica ove sezone, nosiš City, osvojio si Ligu prvaka i zabio pritom u finalu. Mnogi kažu da si najbolji veznjak svijeta?

- Ne uzbuđujem se oko toga. U trenucima kada dobro ide treba se znati nositi s komplimentima, da te to ne ponese. Bitni su samo osvojeni trofeji i pobjede momčadi – spustio je loptu na zemlju Rodri.

Igrao si protiv Intera i Brozovića u finalu Lige prvaka. Protiv Nizozemske je Brozović istrčao gotovo 18 kilometara. Što misliš o Brozoviću?

- Jedan je od najboljih veznjaka na svijetu. Zaslužuje priznanje. Dobro ga znam. Odličan je igrač, ali mi se moramo fokusirati na cijelu momčad Hrvatske – rekao je Rodri.

Izgubili ste prošlo finale Lige nacija od Francuske?

- Bilo bi fantastično osvojiti trofej, da prekinemo period u kojem Španjolska nije osvajala trofeje – rekao je Rodri.

Što ti se najviše sviđa kod reprezentacije Hrvatske?

- Njihova najveće snaga je mirnoća, mentalna snaga. I kada gube ostaju potpuno koncentrirani. Vidjeli smo to i u našem međusobnom susretu na prošlom Euru, ali i na svjetskim prvenstvima. Jedna su od najboljih momčadi Europe, imaju fantastični vezni red, znaju igrati na rezultat.

Zadnji veznjak koji je osvojio Zlatnu loptu bio je Luka Modrić? Možeš li ti biti idući pogotovo s obzirom na uspjehe s Manchester Cityjem?

- To bi bila velika stvar, ali ne razmišljam o individualnim postignućima, samo o uspjesima momčadi. Mnogi igrači zaslužuju taj trofej. Sada sam samo koncentriran na finale s Hrvatskom.

Što je to toliko posebno kod hrvatskog veznog reda?

- Jako dobro se slažu, imaju tri-četiri igrača različitih karakteristika koji jedan drugog nadopunjuju Modrića, Brozovića, Kovačića... Odlična im je pokretljivost. No, nisu Hrvati jaki samo u veznoj liniji, cijela momčad im je odlična – naglasio je Rodri.

Jesu li Španjolska i Hrvatska trenutno dvije najbolje europske momčadi?

- Ne znam jesu li, ali u finalu smo i to pokazuje da vrijedimo. Hrvatska je jedna od najboljih reprezentacija, pokazala je to rezultatima na svjetskim prvenstvima i u Ligi nacija. Mi smo dugo već bez trofeja i želimo taj period prekinuti – ponovio je Rodri.

Ivan Perišić je Hrvatskoj vrlo važan. Što misliš o njemu?

- On je već dugo dio ove momčadi Hrvatske. Može napraviti mnogo problema u ofenzivnom dijelu. Hrvatska ima mnogo odličnih pojedinaca, ali mi ćemo ipak više tražiti gdje možemo mi ugroziti Hrvatsku – kazao je veznjak Manchester Cityja.

Savjet za Modrića da li da nastavi igrati za Hrvatsku ili ne?

- Ne treba Modrić moj savjet, ima 38 godina i dovoljno je zreo, ali za nogomet bi bilo lijepo da i dalje igra na najvišem nivou – rekao je Rodri u rukavicama. U stvarnosti je vjerojatno poželio da se oprosti odmah danas, prije finala.

Poslije izbornika Luisa de la Fuentea pred sedmu silu je dan prije finala Lige nacija s Hrvatskom na stadionu De Kuip u Rotterdamu izišao trenutno najbolji igrač Španjolske Rodri. Veznjak Manchester Cityja je u polufinalu s Italijom (2:1) izabran za najboljeg igrača utakmice, a istu je titulu strijelac jedinog gola na utakmici omiljeni veznjak Pepa Guardiole imao i u finalu Lige prvaka s Interom.

Igraš li trenutno najbolji nogomet karijere?

- Mislim da igram, zbog zrelosti, osvojenih trofeja... Želio bih da se to nastavi tako i u reprezentaciji. Voljeli bismo opet osvojiti trofej s reprezentacijom. To bi bio idealan kraj ove sezone – rekao je Rodri.

Odigrao si 50 utakmica ove sezone, nosiš City, osvojio si Ligu prvaka i zabio pritom u finalu. Mnogi kažu da si najbolji veznjak svijeta?

- Ne uzbuđujem se oko toga. U trenucima kada dobro ide treba se znati nositi s komplimentima, da te to ne ponese. Bitni su samo osvojeni trofeji i pobjede momčadi – spustio je loptu na zemlju Rodri.

- Jedan je od najboljih veznjaka na svijetu. Zaslužuje priznanje. Dobro ga znam. Odličan je igrač, ali mi se moramo fokusirati na cijelu momčad Hrvatske – rekao je Rodri.

Izgubili ste prošlo finale Lige nacija od Francuske?

- Bilo bi fantastično osvojiti trofej, da prekinemo period u kojem Španjolska nije osvajala trofeje – rekao je Rodri.

Što ti se najviše sviđa kod reprezentacije Hrvatske?

- Njihova najveće snaga je mirnoća, mentalna snaga. I kada gube ostaju potpuno koncentrirani. Vidjeli smo to i u našem međusobnom susretu na prošlom Euru, ali i na svjetskim prvenstvima. Jedna su od najboljih momčadi Europe, imaju fantastični vezni red, znaju igrati na rezultat.

Zadnji veznjak koji je osvojio Zlatnu loptu bio je Luka Modrić? Možeš li ti biti idući pogotovo s obzirom na uspjehe s Manchester Cityjem?

- To bi bila velika stvar, ali ne razmišljam o individualnim postignućima, samo o uspjesima momčadi. Mnogi igrači zaslužuju taj trofej. Sada sam samo koncentriran na finale s Hrvatskom.

Što je to toliko posebno kod hrvatskog veznog reda?

- Jako dobro se slažu, imaju tri-četiri igrača različitih karakteristika koji jedan drugog nadopunjuju Modrića, Brozovića, Kovačića... Odlična im je pokretljivost. No, nisu Hrvati jaki samo u veznoj liniji, cijela momčad im je odlična – naglasio je Rodri.

Jesu li Španjolska i Hrvatska trenutno dvije najbolje europske momčadi?

- Ne znam jesu li, ali u finalu smo i to pokazuje da vrijedimo. Hrvatska je jedna od najboljih reprezentacija, pokazala je to rezultatima na svjetskim prvenstvima i u Ligi nacija. Mi smo dugo već bez trofeja i želimo taj period prekinuti – ponovio je Rodri.

Ivan Perišić je Hrvatskoj vrlo važan. Što misliš o njemu?

- On je već dugo dio ove momčadi Hrvatske. Može napraviti mnogo problema u ofenzivnom dijelu. Hrvatska ima mnogo odličnih pojedinaca, ali mi ćemo ipak više tražiti gdje možemo mi ugroziti Hrvatsku – kazao je veznjak Manchester Cityja.

Savjet za Modrića da li da nastavi igrati za Hrvatsku ili ne?

- Ne treba Modrić moj savjet, ima 38 godina i dovoljno je zreo, ali za nogomet bi bilo lijepo da i dalje igra na najvišem nivou – rekao je Rodri u rukavicama. U stvarnosti je vjerojatno poželio da se oprosti odmah danas, prije finala.

Poslije izbornika Luisa de la Fuentea pred sedmu silu je dan prije finala Lige nacija s Hrvatskom na stadionu De Kuip u Rotterdamu izišao trenutno najbolji igrač Španjolske Rodri. Veznjak Manchester Cityja je u polufinalu s Italijom (2:1) izabran za najboljeg igrača utakmice, a istu je titulu strijelac jedinog gola na utakmici omiljeni veznjak Pepa Guardiole imao i u finalu Lige prvaka s Interom.

Igraš li trenutno najbolji nogomet karijere?

- Mislim da igram, zbog zrelosti, osvojenih trofeja... Želio bih da se to nastavi tako i u reprezentaciji. Voljeli bismo opet osvojiti trofej s reprezentacijom. To bi bio idealan kraj ove sezone – rekao je Rodri.

Odigrao si 50 utakmica ove sezone, nosiš City, osvojio si Ligu prvaka i zabio pritom u finalu. Mnogi kažu da si najbolji veznjak svijeta?

- Ne uzbuđujem se oko toga. U trenucima kada dobro ide treba se znati nositi s komplimentima, da te to ne ponese. Bitni su samo osvojeni trofeji i pobjede momčadi – spustio je loptu na zemlju Rodri.
