Hvali mini ‘Vatrene’, izbornika Marinka Mavrovića, vratara Žarka Luketina, Mateja Horvata i ostale nakon pobjede protiv Poljske 3:1 na startu Europskog prvenstva u Nizozemskoj nekadašnji vratar reprezentacije, Dubrovčanin Božidar Bobo Butigan.

Ukupno je nastupio 32 puta, bio je sudionik Svjetskog prvenstva u Gvatemali 2000. godine, i ne samo sudionik, već se vratio s laskavim naslovom najboljeg vratara prvenstva, a igrao je i na Europskom prvenstvu 2001. u Moskvi gdje je i on prvenstvo otvorio pobjedom protiv Poljske (Hrvatska oba puta peta).

- Luketin odličan na golu – ističe Butigan prateći na HTV-u prijenos iz Amsterdama. Zaustavio je Splićanin ‘kišu’ udaraca Poljaka.

Kako je Luketin vidio prvi od tri čina u skupini ‘C’ Eura u Nizozemskoj?

- Nije bilo gledatelja u dvorani, te je zbog toga bila utakmica kao i svaka druga. Zbog toga je izostalo to uzbuđenje. Međutim, nama je to bila najvažnija utakmica. To se osjetilo. Bili smo dosta bolji od njih u prvom poluvremenu. Pali smo u nastavku. Ne bih rekao kako sam radio čuda, imao sam dva, tri malo bolje obrane, a ostalo je sve bilo ono što se od mene očekuje da zaustavim – istaknuo je 33-godišnji Luketin.

- Igrali smo jako dobro, iznenadili su nas Poljaci s pressingom, te smo prvih 5,6 minuta teško izlazili iz svog dijela terena. Prvi pogodak Horvata je za anale. Sjajno. Pokazali smo tim njegovim sjajnim potezom kako imamo individualnu kvalitetu, a što je po meni bilo najbolje, bili smo baš prava momčad  – naglasio je Butigan.

Što kaže naš vratar na Horvatov slalom i udarac rabonom!?

- Priprema je bila odlična. Sate smo proveli analizirajući igru Poljske. Znali smo točno što rade, kako izvode aut, kako korner. Prvi njihov napad s golmanom/vratarom je bio iznenađenje. Stvorili su nam višak na lijevoj strani, ali smo se odmah presložili, te se postavili kako treba. Poslije nam nisu uspjeli proći. Što se tiče pogotka Horvata, to je iznenađenje za one koji ne prate mali nogomet. Matej je meni zabio takav pogodak kad sam branio u Vrgorcu. Taj udarac rabonom je nešto njegovo, po tome je on poznat. Da je ovo izveo Portugalac Ricardinho svi bi rekli kako je to potvrda o kakvom se igraču radi. Eto, nek’ se zna kako je Mateju ovo deseti ovakav pogodak.

Pretrčao je Luketin cijeli teren nakon što je Horvat pogodio, zagrljeni su krenuli prema centru.

- Matej i ja smo osvojili skupa sve što se moglo, i studentsko prvenstvo i Kutiju šibica. Vrhunski igrač i momak. Meni je, vjerujte, draže nego njemu što je pogodio.

- Teška je svaka prva utakmica na turniru bez obzira na suparnika, a pogotovo kad je ova utakmica bila tako važna jer se Poljska isticala kao najveći suparnik našima u borbi za drugo mjesto. Svi u našoj skupini favoriziraju Rusiju, bez obzira što imaju nekoliko Brazilaca, ja mislim kako možemo i protiv nje ostvariti dobar rezultat - naglasio je Butigan, a Luketin je nastup na Euru najavio riječima:

- Ova generacija je ostala dužna velikog rezultata. Vjerujem da imamo kvalitetu za to. U najboljim smo godinama i nekako sam siguran da ćemo ostvariti dobar rezultat.

- Na Euru smo dobili skupinu koja je najlakša, ali se križamo s najjačom skupinom, onom u kojoj je Španjolska. Da bi izbjegli Španjolsku u četvrtfinalu moramo dobiti Ruse, ili ako to ne uspijemo, onda Španjolsku u četvrtfinalu. Nitko nije nepobjediv. Prije se nije moglo dogoditi da favorit ne pobijedi, sad je to drugačije. Meni je ovo prvo Europsko prvenstvo, a ujedno i zadnje. Zbog drugih obveza se opraštam od reprezentacije, te nitko sretniji od mene da se vratimo s medaljom. Ali, ako i ne uspijemo, ne mislim kako je ovo za ovu generaciju zadnja šansa, te očekujem od njih rezultate i u budućnosti - naglasio je Luketin, te nastavio:

- Što se tiče Rusije, uvijek smo tu, ali nikad, ha, gdje treba. Fali nam uvijek gol koji bi nas odveo do velikog rezultat a Igrao sam 5, 6 utakmica protiv Rusa, ili je remi, ili izgubimo tijesno. Uglavnom, protiv njih se može bez obzira što imaju u svojim redovima strašnih igrača, četiri Brazilca, te vrhunske Ruse. Nemamo što izgubiti. Na Rusiji je teret pobjede. Treba nam pobjeda. Teško bi s neriješenim rezultatom mogli do prvog mjesta. Ne smijemo zaboraviti ni Slovačku, koja u slučaju pobjede protiv Poljske protiv nas igra za četvrtfinale. Ali, pustimo sad tu zadnju utakmicu u skupini. Idemo na Ruse kao da nam ta utakmica biti ili ne biti – naglasio je Luketin, koji je ponikao braneći za Škver, zatim UHBDDR-a iz Dugopolja, Muć Bituminu, Mejaše, Vrgorac, Nacional, Split, Olmissumu, a sad je član Futsal Pule.

Dario Marinović, najbolji strijelac u povijesti Hrvatske, koji četvrti put igra na Euru, istaknuo je kako je Luketin najbolji vratar s kojim je igrao. Luketin je godinama takav kakav je bio u petak navečer protiv Poljske u Amsterdamu.

Ukupno je nastupio 32 puta, bio je sudionik Svjetskog prvenstva u Gvatemali 2000. godine, i ne samo sudionik, već se vratio s laskavim naslovom najboljeg vratara prvenstva, a igrao je i na Europskom prvenstvu 2001. u Moskvi gdje je i on prvenstvo otvorio pobjedom protiv Poljske (Hrvatska oba puta peta).

- Luketin odličan na golu – ističe Butigan prateći na HTV-u prijenos iz Amsterdama. Zaustavio je Splićanin ‘kišu’ udaraca Poljaka.

Kako je Luketin vidio prvi od tri čina u skupini ‘C’ Eura u Nizozemskoj?

- Nije bilo gledatelja u dvorani, te je zbog toga bila utakmica kao i svaka druga. Zbog toga je izostalo to uzbuđenje. Međutim, nama je to bila najvažnija utakmica. To se osjetilo. Bili smo dosta bolji od njih u prvom poluvremenu. Pali smo u nastavku. Ne bih rekao kako sam radio čuda, imao sam dva, tri malo bolje obrane, a ostalo je sve bilo ono što se od mene očekuje da zaustavim – istaknuo je 33-godišnji Luketin.

- Igrali smo jako dobro, iznenadili su nas Poljaci s pressingom, te smo prvih 5,6 minuta teško izlazili iz svog dijela terena. Prvi pogodak Horvata je za anale. Sjajno. Pokazali smo tim njegovim sjajnim potezom kako imamo individualnu kvalitetu, a što je po meni bilo najbolje, bili smo baš prava momčad  – naglasio je Butigan.

Što kaže naš vratar na Horvatov slalom i udarac rabonom!?

- Priprema je bila odlična. Sate smo proveli analizirajući igru Poljske. Znali smo točno što rade, kako izvode aut, kako korner. Prvi njihov napad s golmanom/vratarom je bio iznenađenje. Stvorili su nam višak na lijevoj strani, ali smo se odmah presložili, te se postavili kako treba. Poslije nam nisu uspjeli proći. Što se tiče pogotka Horvata, to je iznenađenje za one koji ne prate mali nogomet. Matej je meni zabio takav pogodak kad sam branio u Vrgorcu. Taj udarac rabonom je nešto njegovo, po tome je on poznat. Da je ovo izveo Portugalac Ricardinho svi bi rekli kako je to potvrda o kakvom se igraču radi. Eto, nek’ se zna kako je Mateju ovo deseti ovakav pogodak.

Pretrčao je Luketin cijeli teren nakon što je Horvat pogodio, zagrljeni su krenuli prema centru.

- Matej i ja smo osvojili skupa sve što se moglo, i studentsko prvenstvo i Kutiju šibica. Vrhunski igrač i momak. Meni je, vjerujte, draže nego njemu što je pogodio.

- Teška je svaka prva utakmica na turniru bez obzira na suparnika, a pogotovo kad je ova utakmica bila tako važna jer se Poljska isticala kao najveći suparnik našima u borbi za drugo mjesto. Svi u našoj skupini favoriziraju Rusiju, bez obzira što imaju nekoliko Brazilaca, ja mislim kako možemo i protiv nje ostvariti dobar rezultat - naglasio je Butigan, a Luketin je nastup na Euru najavio riječima:

- Ova generacija je ostala dužna velikog rezultata. Vjerujem da imamo kvalitetu za to. U najboljim smo godinama i nekako sam siguran da ćemo ostvariti dobar rezultat.

- Na Euru smo dobili skupinu koja je najlakša, ali se križamo s najjačom skupinom, onom u kojoj je Španjolska. Da bi izbjegli Španjolsku u četvrtfinalu moramo dobiti Ruse, ili ako to ne uspijemo, onda Španjolsku u četvrtfinalu. Nitko nije nepobjediv. Prije se nije moglo dogoditi da favorit ne pobijedi, sad je to drugačije. Meni je ovo prvo Europsko prvenstvo, a ujedno i zadnje. Zbog drugih obveza se opraštam od reprezentacije, te nitko sretniji od mene da se vratimo s medaljom. Ali, ako i ne uspijemo, ne mislim kako je ovo za ovu generaciju zadnja šansa, te očekujem od njih rezultate i u budućnosti - naglasio je Luketin, te nastavio:

- Što se tiče Rusije, uvijek smo tu, ali nikad, ha, gdje treba. Fali nam uvijek gol koji bi nas odveo do velikog rezultat a Igrao sam 5, 6 utakmica protiv Rusa, ili je remi, ili izgubimo tijesno. Uglavnom, protiv njih se može bez obzira što imaju u svojim redovima strašnih igrača, četiri Brazilca, te vrhunske Ruse. Nemamo što izgubiti. Na Rusiji je teret pobjede. Treba nam pobjeda. Teško bi s neriješenim rezultatom mogli do prvog mjesta. Ne smijemo zaboraviti ni Slovačku, koja u slučaju pobjede protiv Poljske protiv nas igra za četvrtfinale. Ali, pustimo sad tu zadnju utakmicu u skupini. Idemo na Ruse kao da nam ta utakmica biti ili ne biti – naglasio je Luketin, koji je ponikao braneći za Škver, zatim UHBDDR-a iz Dugopolja, Muć Bituminu, Mejaše, Vrgorac, Nacional, Split, Olmissumu, a sad je član Futsal Pule.

Dario Marinović, najbolji strijelac u povijesti Hrvatske, koji četvrti put igra na Euru, istaknuo je kako je Luketin najbolji vratar s kojim je igrao. Luketin je godinama takav kakav je bio u petak navečer protiv Poljske u Amsterdamu.
