Nedjeljna utakmica Osijeka i Dinama je praktično oproštaj navijača domaćeg sastava sa stadionom u Gradskom vrtu. Takav je otprilike proglas emitirala i Kohorta, najžešći navijači Osijeka. Formalno derbi s ‘modrima‘ neće biti posljednja utakmica odigrana na ovom stadionu, u zadnjem kolu tu će još gostovati i Rijeka, ali jasno je da će ovaj susret zbog protivnika ipak biti poseban, oproštaj prije pravog oproštaja. Naime, od početka iduće sezone Osijek bi domaćin trebao biti na novom stadionu Pampas. Ovo je zadnji derbi Osijeka i Dinama u Gradskom vrtu.

Igrao se nogomet i prije 1980. godine u Gradskom vrtu, na tom dijelu grada na Dravi, ali tek tada je završen i obnovljen sadašnji stadion. Kojeg u međuvremenu vrijeme nije štedjelo.

Na novo moderno zdanje kapaciteta oko 13 tisuća gledatelja potrošeno je navodno oko 65 milijuna eura. Zamijenit će Pampas staro zadnje u Gradskom vrtu, stadion koji je službeno otvoren 1980. godine. Dakle, godinu kasnije je formalno otvoren (iako se već igralo i 1979.) nego što je to bio slučaj sa stadionom na Poljudu. Hajduk je sa Starog placa na tada super moderni Poljud preselio 1979. godine kada je grad Split s okolicom bio domaćin 8. Mediteranskih igara. Da nije, vrlo vjerojatno bi i danas igrao na Starom placu.

Stadion Gradski vrt, 43-godišnjak koji je mlađi od Poljuda odlazi u ropotarnicu povijesti. Poljud kojem su već 44 godine što se i vidi je ‘ni vamo ni tamo‘. Stadion na kojem osim ‘šminkanja‘ i uređivanja tipa postavljanja sjedalica nije bilo kroz svo to vrijeme bilo konkretnijih infrastrukturalnih zahvata, kamoli kompletnije obnove, i dalje ostaje dom Hajduka. Barem do daljnjeg. Javnost nestrpljivo čega odgovor ide li se i kada u obnovu aktualnog što se s obzirom na visinu ulaganja sve više čini popravljanjem nepopravljivog, ili ipak u izgradnju novog stadiona što je svakako osjetno skuplja solucija, no dugoročno gledano vjerojatno isplativija.

U Dinamu su nedavno preko vječnog prvog čovjeka kluba Mirka Barišića najavili izgradnju novog stadiona, uz pomoć grada i države. Po tko zna koji put su doduše to najavili, ali jesu. Pa što bude. No, ovaj put čini se da je možda zaista zagrizla i Vlada RH. Rijeka ga već ima, makar možemo nadugo i naširoko razgovarati o njegovom kapacitetu, da je to zapravo trebao biti stadion trening kampa u inicijalnim planovima te da do najavljivane obnove Kantride uopće nije došlo. A gdje je u toj priči Hajduk?

Gradski vrt kojeg godine nisu mazile je generalno u lošijem stanju od Poljuda, to se vidi i odoka, ali usporedbe su neizbježne. Mlađi je, a već je praktično rashodovan. Vrijeme je da se nešto konkretno konačno napravi i po pitanju Poljuda.

Nedjeljna utakmica Osijeka i Dinama je praktično oproštaj navijača domaćeg sastava sa stadionom u Gradskom vrtu. Takav je otprilike proglas emitirala i Kohorta, najžešći navijači Osijeka. Formalno derbi s ‘modrima‘ neće biti posljednja utakmica odigrana na ovom stadionu, u zadnjem kolu tu će još gostovati i Rijeka, ali jasno je da će ovaj susret zbog protivnika ipak biti poseban, oproštaj prije pravog oproštaja. Naime, od početka iduće sezone Osijek bi domaćin trebao biti na novom stadionu Pampas. Ovo je zadnji derbi Osijeka i Dinama u Gradskom vrtu.

Igrao se nogomet i prije 1980. godine u Gradskom vrtu, na tom dijelu grada na Dravi, ali tek tada je završen i obnovljen sadašnji stadion. Kojeg u međuvremenu vrijeme nije štedjelo.

Na novo moderno zdanje kapaciteta oko 13 tisuća gledatelja potrošeno je navodno oko 65 milijuna eura. Zamijenit će Pampas staro zadnje u Gradskom vrtu, stadion koji je službeno otvoren 1980. godine. Dakle, godinu kasnije je formalno otvoren (iako se već igralo i 1979.) nego što je to bio slučaj sa stadionom na Poljudu. Hajduk je sa Starog placa na tada super moderni Poljud preselio 1979. godine kada je grad Split s okolicom bio domaćin 8. Mediteranskih igara. Da nije, vrlo vjerojatno bi i danas igrao na Starom placu.

Stadion Gradski vrt, 43-godišnjak koji je mlađi od Poljuda odlazi u ropotarnicu povijesti. Poljud kojem su već 44 godine što se i vidi je ‘ni vamo ni tamo‘. Stadion na kojem osim ‘šminkanja‘ i uređivanja tipa postavljanja sjedalica nije bilo kroz svo to vrijeme bilo konkretnijih infrastrukturalnih zahvata, kamoli kompletnije obnove, i dalje ostaje dom Hajduka. Barem do daljnjeg. Javnost nestrpljivo čega odgovor ide li se i kada u obnovu aktualnog što se s obzirom na visinu ulaganja sve više čini popravljanjem nepopravljivog, ili ipak u izgradnju novog stadiona što je svakako osjetno skuplja solucija, no dugoročno gledano vjerojatno isplativija.

U Dinamu su nedavno preko vječnog prvog čovjeka kluba Mirka Barišića najavili izgradnju novog stadiona, uz pomoć grada i države. Po tko zna koji put su doduše to najavili, ali jesu. Pa što bude. No, ovaj put čini se da je možda zaista zagrizla i Vlada RH. Rijeka ga već ima, makar možemo nadugo i naširoko razgovarati o njegovom kapacitetu, da je to zapravo trebao biti stadion trening kampa u inicijalnim planovima te da do najavljivane obnove Kantride uopće nije došlo. A gdje je u toj priči Hajduk?

Gradski vrt kojeg godine nisu mazile je generalno u lošijem stanju od Poljuda, to se vidi i odoka, ali usporedbe su neizbježne. Mlađi je, a već je praktično rashodovan. Vrijeme je da se nešto konkretno konačno napravi i po pitanju Poljuda.
