- Ovo nije bio naš dan. Nismo imali pravu energiju kao što smo je imali sve ove prethodne utakmice. Nismo bili mirni na balunu, gubili smo duele. Pretpostavio sam da je teško igrati svaka tri dana naše utakmice u Europi. Mi se ipak malo povučemo, pa jako puno trčimo kada se branimo i čekamo tranziciju. Možda bismo bili konkurentniji da se igralo za desetak dana, ovako se dogodilo to što se dogodilo, nismo bili dobri. Čestitam AZ-u, zasluženo su pobijedili – vjeruje Budimir.

Unatoč dominaciji Nizozemaca susret je usmjerio kazneni udarac.

- Unatoč tome što nismo bili dobri mi smo držali 0:0, ali nemojte mi sada Vuškovića razapinjati, on je mladi dečko, dogodilo mu se iako je to jako glupi jedanaesterac. Dogodili smo se u svlačionici, nešto smo promijenili. Ušli smo agresivnije i bolje u drugo poluvrijeme, imali smo šanse Antunovića i Pukštasa. Da smo tu zabili, možda bi se utakmica drugačije odvijala – vjeruje Budimir. No, tada je AZ zabio i drugi pogodak.

- Pokušali smo im nauditi promjenama i mijenjanjem sustava, ali kada im otvoriš prostor i kada imaju tog Meerdinka koji je vrhunski igrač onda se dogodi to što se dogodi. Žao mi je samo što je na kraju ovako završilo. Jedni bi igrali presing, drugi bi se povlačili jer ne čuju što se događa. Gube glavu momci jer gubimo, a naletio si na momčad koja kazni svaku tvoju grešku – rekao je Budimir koji je analizirao poraz.

- Oni su se spremili za nas, za našu tranziciju. Čim bismo mi probili prvi blok, oni bi se povukli i čekali da mi izgubimo balun. To je bilo taktičko nadmudrivanje. Da smo mi bili malo mudriji na balunu, možda bi to drugačije izgledalo. Nismo imali pravu energiju, drskost i pozitivu koja nas je krasila sve ove utakmice. Zato smo izgubili. Tužni smo i razočarani, ali rekao dam igračima u svlačionici da će biti ponosni kada prođe malo vremena, na naš europski put u kojem je Hajduk došao u finale. Rekao sam im glavu gore i budite ponosni na sebe – rekao je Budimir.

Pobijedila je bolja momčad.

- Bili su apsolutno bolji, imaju fantastičnu momčad. Ne znaš tko je bolji napadač, dva krila, vezni, stoperi, golman... Mi moramo biti ponosni i svjesni što smo napravili. Hajduk je došao u finale Lige prvaka, osjećamo se kao reprezentacija Hrvatske kada je izgubila finale Svjetskog prvenstva. Znamo što smo napravili, koliko smo se trudili. I dođeš u to finale i glatko izgubiš. Moraš biti tužan, ali mislim da će nam sutra biti lakše – rekao je Budimir.

Kapetan Marko Capan zaigrao je ozlijeđen, pod blokadom nakon što se nesretno ozlijedio u nedjelju na treningu?

- On je takav karakter, kapetan, lider. Izvrnuo je zglob, plakao, ali igrao je pod blokadom i izdržao 65-70 minuta. Svaka mu čast, ponašao se kako se treba ponašati kapetan Hajduka – rekao je Budimir.

Na Rivi se sprema doček?

- Nisam pristalica nekih dočeka kada izgubiš, ali radi ovih momaka sam za to, da ovi momci vide da je ljudima stalo, da nije to samo kada pobijedimo. Osim igrača, žao mi je i navijača koji su nas u velikom broju došli podržati. Možda smo im malo razočarali na kraju, ali njihova pjesma podrške na kraju nam mnogo znači, prepoznali su naš trud. Svima će nam biti lakše u utorak – poručio je Budimir.

- Ovo nije bio naš dan. Nismo imali pravu energiju kao što smo je imali sve ove prethodne utakmice. Nismo bili mirni na balunu, gubili smo duele. Pretpostavio sam da je teško igrati svaka tri dana naše utakmice u Europi. Mi se ipak malo povučemo, pa jako puno trčimo kada se branimo i čekamo tranziciju. Možda bismo bili konkurentniji da se igralo za desetak dana, ovako se dogodilo to što se dogodilo, nismo bili dobri. Čestitam AZ-u, zasluženo su pobijedili – vjeruje Budimir.

Unatoč dominaciji Nizozemaca susret je usmjerio kazneni udarac.

- Unatoč tome što nismo bili dobri mi smo držali 0:0, ali nemojte mi sada Vuškovića razapinjati, on je mladi dečko, dogodilo mu se iako je to jako glupi jedanaesterac. Dogodili smo se u svlačionici, nešto smo promijenili. Ušli smo agresivnije i bolje u drugo poluvrijeme, imali smo šanse Antunovića i Pukštasa. Da smo tu zabili, možda bi se utakmica drugačije odvijala – vjeruje Budimir. No, tada je AZ zabio i drugi pogodak.

- Pokušali smo im nauditi promjenama i mijenjanjem sustava, ali kada im otvoriš prostor i kada imaju tog Meerdinka koji je vrhunski igrač onda se dogodi to što se dogodi. Žao mi je samo što je na kraju ovako završilo. Jedni bi igrali presing, drugi bi se povlačili jer ne čuju što se događa. Gube glavu momci jer gubimo, a naletio si na momčad koja kazni svaku tvoju grešku – rekao je Budimir koji je analizirao poraz.

- Oni su se spremili za nas, za našu tranziciju. Čim bismo mi probili prvi blok, oni bi se povukli i čekali da mi izgubimo balun. To je bilo taktičko nadmudrivanje. Da smo mi bili malo mudriji na balunu, možda bi to drugačije izgledalo. Nismo imali pravu energiju, drskost i pozitivu koja nas je krasila sve ove utakmice. Zato smo izgubili. Tužni smo i razočarani, ali rekao dam igračima u svlačionici da će biti ponosni kada prođe malo vremena, na naš europski put u kojem je Hajduk došao u finale. Rekao sam im glavu gore i budite ponosni na sebe – rekao je Budimir.

Pobijedila je bolja momčad.

- Bili su apsolutno bolji, imaju fantastičnu momčad. Ne znaš tko je bolji napadač, dva krila, vezni, stoperi, golman... Mi moramo biti ponosni i svjesni što smo napravili. Hajduk je došao u finale Lige prvaka, osjećamo se kao reprezentacija Hrvatske kada je izgubila finale Svjetskog prvenstva. Znamo što smo napravili, koliko smo se trudili. I dođeš u to finale i glatko izgubiš. Moraš biti tužan, ali mislim da će nam sutra biti lakše – rekao je Budimir.

Kapetan Marko Capan zaigrao je ozlijeđen, pod blokadom nakon što se nesretno ozlijedio u nedjelju na treningu?

- On je takav karakter, kapetan, lider. Izvrnuo je zglob, plakao, ali igrao je pod blokadom i izdržao 65-70 minuta. Svaka mu čast, ponašao se kako se treba ponašati kapetan Hajduka – rekao je Budimir.

Na Rivi se sprema doček?

- Nisam pristalica nekih dočeka kada izgubiš, ali radi ovih momaka sam za to, da ovi momci vide da je ljudima stalo, da nije to samo kada pobijedimo. Osim igrača, žao mi je i navijača koji su nas u velikom broju došli podržati. Možda smo im malo razočarali na kraju, ali njihova pjesma podrške na kraju nam mnogo znači, prepoznali su naš trud. Svima će nam biti lakše u utorak – poručio je Budimir.

- Ovo nije bio naš dan. Nismo imali pravu energiju kao što smo je imali sve ove prethodne utakmice. Nismo bili mirni na balunu, gubili smo duele. Pretpostavio sam da je teško igrati svaka tri dana naše utakmice u Europi. Mi se ipak malo povučemo, pa jako puno trčimo kada se branimo i čekamo tranziciju. Možda bismo bili konkurentniji da se igralo za desetak dana, ovako se dogodilo to što se dogodilo, nismo bili dobri. Čestitam AZ-u, zasluženo su pobijedili – vjeruje Budimir.

Unatoč dominaciji Nizozemaca susret je usmjerio kazneni udarac.

- Unatoč tome što nismo bili dobri mi smo držali 0:0, ali nemojte mi sada Vuškovića razapinjati, on je mladi dečko, dogodilo mu se iako je to jako glupi jedanaesterac. Dogodili smo se u svlačionici, nešto smo promijenili. Ušli smo agresivnije...
