Srebrni pehar maršala Tita, koji je nakon 17 godina skrivanja vraćen u vitrine stadiona u Poljudu, ostat će u trajnom vlasništvu Hajduka, zadnjeg osvajača Kupa Jugoslavije iz 1991. godine. Iz Beograda smo, naime, u petak dobili čvrstu potvrdu da u Nogometnom savezu Srbije ne razmišljaju o tome da zatraže povratak ovog prijelaznog pehara.
O toj mogućnosti često se govorilo u Poljudu prošlih godina. Naime, kad god bi se povukla priča o tome zašto pehar nije vraćen u vitrine kao argument protiv izvlačila bi se činjenica da bi ga čelnici nogometnog saveza u Beograda mogli tražiti natrag, pa čak i pod prijetnju Uefe. Ispada da je to bio bezrazložan strah i vrlo klimav argument. Kao i isticana bojazan o tome da bi pehar mogao završiti u sukcesijskoj masi upokojene Jugoslavije...

Naime, iako je NS Srbije pravni sljednik bivšeg Nogometnog saveza Jugoslavije priča o povratku izgubljenog
Titovog pehara u Beogradu nije izazvala posebne reakcije.
Istina, beogradski su mediji u petak prenijeli vijest o ponovnom ukazanju Titova pehara na Poljudu, ali izostala je reakcija iz NS Srbije. Kontaktirali smo zato glasnogovornika Saveza Aleksandra Boškovića koji je nakon konzultacija sa predsjednikom NS Srbije Tomislavom Karadžićem u službenoj izjavi istaknuo:
- Prošlo je dosta vremena, stvorene su nove države i nova nogometna natjecanja na ovim prostorima. Naš nogometni kup nosi naziv Lav Kup Srbije, imamo i novi trofej kojeg dodjeljujemo pobjednicima. Okrenuti smo sadašnjosti i budućnosti, a nikako prošlosti.
I to je službeni stav NS Srbije iz kojeg se može iščitati da tamo očito uvažavaju činjenicu da Hajduk, kao zadnji pobjednik kupa bivše države, ima pravo zadržati taj trofej. Ako ništa drugo onda zbog sentimentalnih razloga. Ne misleći pritom na političke nego isključivo sportske motive.
- Ne bi bilo fer ni sportski sad tražiti od Hajduka da vrati taj pehar u Beograd ako su ga već osvojili na nogometnom terenu – govori se u tamošnjim nogometnim krugovima.

Dragiša Binić: Trofej je Zvezdin
Za razliku od pomirljivih tonova Nogometnog saveza Srbije Dragiša Binić akter posljednjeg finala Kupa maršala Tita za tabloid Alo je ljutito kazao:
- Da je pravde, sad bi Splićani trebali da proslijede pehar Fudbalskom savezu Srbije, koji je pravni nasljednik svega što se događalo u jugoslavenskom nogometu, a FSS bi onda trebao da trofej izloži u Muzeju Crvene zvezde, kluba koji je do 1991. godine, najviše puta osvojio spomenuti Kup.

Srebrni pehar maršala Tita, koji je nakon 17 godina skrivanja vraćen u vitrine stadiona u Poljudu, ostat će u trajnom vlasništvu Hajduka, zadnjeg osvajača Kupa Jugoslavije iz 1991. godine. Iz Beograda smo, naime, u petak dobili čvrstu potvrdu da u Nogometnom savezu Srbije ne razmišljaju o tome da zatraže povratak ovog prijelaznog pehara.
O toj mogućnosti često se govorilo u Poljudu prošlih godina. Naime, kad god bi se povukla priča o tome zašto pehar nije vraćen u vitrine kao argument protiv izvlačila bi se činjenica da bi ga čelnici nogometnog saveza u Beograda mogli tražiti natrag, pa čak i pod prijetnju Uefe. Ispada da je to bio bezrazložan strah i vrlo klimav argument. Kao i isticana bojazan o tome da bi pehar mogao završiti u sukcesijskoj masi upokojene Jugoslavije...

Naime, iako je NS Srbije pravni sljednik bivšeg Nogometnog saveza Jugoslavije priča o povratku izgubljenog
Titovog pehara u Beogradu nije izazvala posebne reakcije.
Istina, beogradski su mediji u petak prenijeli vijest o ponovnom ukazanju Titova pehara na Poljudu, ali izostala je reakcija iz NS Srbije. Kontaktirali smo zato glasnogovornika Saveza Aleksandra Boškovića koji je nakon konzultacija sa predsjednikom NS Srbije Tomislavom Karadžićem u službenoj izjavi istaknuo:
- Prošlo je dosta vremena, stvorene su nove države i nova nogometna natjecanja na ovim prostorima. Naš nogometni kup nosi naziv Lav Kup Srbije, imamo i novi trofej kojeg dodjeljujemo pobjednicima. Okrenuti smo sadašnjosti i budućnosti, a nikako prošlosti.
I to je službeni stav NS Srbije iz kojeg se može iščitati da tamo očito uvažavaju činjenicu da Hajduk, kao zadnji pobjednik kupa bivše države, ima pravo zadržati taj trofej. Ako ništa drugo onda zbog sentimentalnih razloga. Ne misleći pritom na političke nego isključivo sportske motive.
- Ne bi bilo fer ni sportski sad tražiti od Hajduka da vrati taj pehar u Beograd ako su ga već osvojili na nogometnom terenu – govori se u tamošnjim nogometnim krugovima.

Dragiša Binić: Trofej je Zvezdin
Za razliku od pomirljivih tonova Nogometnog saveza Srbije Dragiša Binić akter posljednjeg finala Kupa maršala Tita za tabloid Alo je ljutito kazao:
- Da je pravde, sad bi Splićani trebali da proslijede pehar Fudbalskom savezu Srbije, koji je pravni nasljednik svega što se događalo u jugoslavenskom nogometu, a FSS bi onda trebao da trofej izloži u Muzeju Crvene zvezde, kluba koji je do 1991. godine, najviše puta osvojio spomenuti Kup.
