Odmah na početku godine košarkašima Splita stiže na papiru najteži mogući protivnik, večeras na Gripama u Admira Bet ABA ligi gostuje Crvena zvezda mts (19 sati – prijenos Arenasport 1).

Bit će to prvi veliki sportski događaj u gradu pod Marjanom u 2022. godini. Beogradski sastav vodeća je momčad regionalne lige sa skorom od 12 pobjeda i samo jednog poraza. Za usporedbu posljednji Split je na omjeru 2-11. Crvena zvezda je prvi favorit regionalne, ali i važan akter Eurolige. U najjačem europskom klupskom natjecanju Zvezda ima samo dvije pobjede manje (skor 7-11) od aktualnog prvaka Anadolu Efesa (9-9) koji je na osmom mjestu koje vodi u play off.

Kladionice su vrlo jasne, koeficijent na slavlje gostiju je samo 1.10, a na pobjedu Splita čak 6.80! U 17 dosadašnjih ogleda u ABA ligi Split je slavio samo dvaput, a od posljednjeg trijumfa je već prošlo više od devet godina. U rujnu 2012. je Crvena zvezda također bila veliki favorit, ali je u pobjedi 87:81 na Gripama briljirao Ivan Mimica s 32 poena, uz velike role Nikole Vujčića i Josipa Sobina. Zanimljivo, u tom susretu za Split je igrao današnji trener „žutih” Srđan Subotić.

- Želimo odigrati što bolju utakmicu, biti što bliže našem maksimumu. To je sve što u ovom trenutku možemo tražiti. Iz toga, iz muške igre možemo onda tražiti neku svoju priliku ukoliko Zvezda dođe malo opuštenija – kazao je Subotić.

Ovim susretom počinje Splitu serija jako teških utakmica. Potom će u goste Partizanu već u srijedu, a u domaćem prvenstvu će na Gripe 9. siječnja doći Zadar. Pakleni početak godine.

- Lijepo je igrati važne utakmice protiv velikih protivnika da vidimo gdje smo. To su momčadi euroligaškog nivoa, koje pripadaju vrhu Eurokupa... No, nećemo sigurno samo nastupiti, tražit ćemo svoje prilike za neku pobjedu i „break” – aludirao je Subotić na oglede s dva beogradska sastava u regionalnoj ligi.

Očekuje se kako će u ovom susretu premijerni nastup na Gripama upisati američki bek Shannon Shorter. U prvom nastupu za „žute” ispao je tragičar poraza u Zadru jer je blokiran njegov šut za pobjedu u zadnjem napadu, ali ne zaboravimo u oproštaju od prethodnog kluba Afyona u turskom prvenstvu Galatasarayu je zabio 43 poena. Nakon odgode susreta sa Sonikom jer je koronavirus koji pogađa sve momčadi posebno nagazio Zadrane, Shorter je imao dodatno vrijeme za uigravanje.

- Sigurno je da će mu trebati neko vrijeme da se uklopi u sustav, navikne na to kako suigrači dišu, da prepozna tko je dobar u kakvim pozicijama, da suigrači vide što njemu odgovara. No, zasad se jako dobro priviknuo – rekao je Subotić.

Osim Shortera premijeru će kao sportski direktor imati i Teo Čizmić.

- Bilo je tu nekih stvari koje su nam stvarno remetile koncentraciju i jako su nas trošile. U trenucima kada bi se nakupio veliki broj utakmica morali smo se brinuti za neke stvari za koje ne bismo trebali. Svatko stručan, tko ima košarkaško znanje će nam dobro doći, a pogotovo Teo za kojeg svi znamo i kakav je pozitivac – rekao je Subotić.

Odavno ovako veliki interes na Gripama nije bio za neku utakmicu.

- To nam je dodatan motiv. Želimo se dignuti nakon nekoliko posljednjih poraza i pokazati što znamo. Atmosfera u momčadi je pozitivna, uvijek gledamo kako biti bolji u sljedećoj utakmici – poručio je ponajbolji igrač Splita ove sezone Darko Bajo. Taj odnedavno plavokosi 22-godišnjak je ove sezone napravio veliki iskorak u odnosu na prošlu sezonu.

- Odigrat ćemo jako čvrstu utakmicu i pokušati iznenaditi Zvezdu – naglasio je Bajo.

Odmah na početku godine košarkašima Splita stiže na papiru najteži mogući protivnik, večeras na Gripama u Admira Bet ABA ligi gostuje Crvena zvezda mts (19 sati – prijenos Arenasport 1).

Bit će to prvi veliki sportski događaj u gradu pod Marjanom u 2022. godini. Beogradski sastav vodeća je momčad regionalne lige sa skorom od 12 pobjeda i samo jednog poraza. Za usporedbu posljednji Split je na omjeru 2-11. Crvena zvezda je prvi favorit regionalne, ali i važan akter Eurolige. U najjačem europskom klupskom natjecanju Zvezda ima samo dvije pobjede manje (skor 7-11) od aktualnog prvaka Anadolu Efesa (9-9) koji je na osmom mjestu koje vodi u play off.

Kladionice su vrlo jasne, koeficijent na slavlje gostiju je samo 1.10, a na pobjedu Splita čak 6.80! U 17 dosadašnjih ogleda u ABA ligi Split je slavio samo dvaput, a od posljednjeg trijumfa je već prošlo više od devet godina. U rujnu 2012. je Crvena zvezda također bila veliki favorit, ali je u pobjedi 87:81 na Gripama briljirao Ivan Mimica s 32 poena, uz velike role Nikole Vujčića i Josipa Sobina. Zanimljivo, u tom susretu za Split je igrao današnji trener „žutih” Srđan Subotić.

- Želimo odigrati što bolju utakmicu, biti što bliže našem maksimumu. To je sve što u ovom trenutku možemo tražiti. Iz toga, iz muške igre možemo onda tražiti neku svoju priliku ukoliko Zvezda dođe malo opuštenija – kazao je Subotić.

Ovim susretom počinje Splitu serija jako teških utakmica. Potom će u goste Partizanu već u srijedu, a u domaćem prvenstvu će na Gripe 9. siječnja doći Zadar. Pakleni početak godine.

- Lijepo je igrati važne utakmice protiv velikih protivnika da vidimo gdje smo. To su momčadi euroligaškog nivoa, koje pripadaju vrhu Eurokupa... No, nećemo sigurno samo nastupiti, tražit ćemo svoje prilike za neku pobjedu i „break” – aludirao je Subotić na oglede s dva beogradska sastava u regionalnoj ligi.

Očekuje se kako će u ovom susretu premijerni nastup na Gripama upisati američki bek Shannon Shorter. U prvom nastupu za „žute” ispao je tragičar poraza u Zadru jer je blokiran njegov šut za pobjedu u zadnjem napadu, ali ne zaboravimo u oproštaju od prethodnog kluba Afyona u turskom prvenstvu Galatasarayu je zabio 43 poena. Nakon odgode susreta sa Sonikom jer je koronavirus koji pogađa sve momčadi posebno nagazio Zadrane, Shorter je imao dodatno vrijeme za uigravanje.

- Sigurno je da će mu trebati neko vrijeme da se uklopi u sustav, navikne na to kako suigrači dišu, da prepozna tko je dobar u kakvim pozicijama, da suigrači vide što njemu odgovara. No, zasad se jako dobro priviknuo – rekao je Subotić.

Osim Shortera premijeru će kao sportski direktor imati i Teo Čizmić.

- Bilo je tu nekih stvari koje su nam stvarno remetile koncentraciju i jako su nas trošile. U trenucima kada bi se nakupio veliki broj utakmica morali smo se brinuti za neke stvari za koje ne bismo trebali. Svatko stručan, tko ima košarkaško znanje će nam dobro doći, a pogotovo Teo za kojeg svi znamo i kakav je pozitivac – rekao je Subotić.

Odavno ovako veliki interes na Gripama nije bio za neku utakmicu.

- To nam je dodatan motiv. Želimo se dignuti nakon nekoliko posljednjih poraza i pokazati što znamo. Atmosfera u momčadi je pozitivna, uvijek gledamo kako biti bolji u sljedećoj utakmici – poručio je ponajbolji igrač Splita ove sezone Darko Bajo. Taj odnedavno plavokosi 22-godišnjak je ove sezone napravio veliki iskorak u odnosu na prošlu sezonu.

- Odigrat ćemo jako čvrstu utakmicu i pokušati iznenaditi Zvezdu – naglasio je Bajo.

Odmah na početku godine košarkašima Splita stiže na papiru najteži mogući protivnik, večeras na Gripama u Admira Bet ABA ligi gostuje Crvena zvezda mts (19 sati – prijenos Arenasport 1).

Bit će to prvi veliki sportski događaj u gradu pod Marjanom u 2022. godini. Beogradski sastav vodeća je momčad regionalne lige sa skorom od 12 pobjeda i samo jednog poraza. Za usporedbu posljednji Split je na omjeru 2-11. Crvena zvezda je prvi favorit regionalne, ali i važan akter Eurolige. U najjačem europskom klupskom natjecanju Zvezda ima samo dvije pobjede manje (skor 7-11) od aktualnog prvaka Anadolu Efesa (9-9) koji je na osmom mjestu koje vodi u play off.

Kladionice su vrlo jasne, koeficijent na slavlje gostiju je samo 1.10, a na pobjedu Splita čak 6.80! U 17 dosadašnjih ogleda u ABA...
