Svakome je poznat pojam "pomračenje uma", ali koliko to mora biti kod jednog sportaša kada se napravi ovakav brutalan i nesportski potez. Kewan Platt košarkaš Sveučilišta Fitchburg zaradio je suspenziju i izbačen je s kampusa nakon što je na košarkaškoj utakmici bez ikakvog valjanog razloga brutalno nokautirao suparničkog igrača. Fitchburg je poražen u prilično mirnom susretu protiv Sveučilišta Nicholls i bila bi to jedna obična košarkaška utakmica da je nije obilježio ovaj incident.

U samoj završnici susreta igrači Nichollsa su izveli kontru i njihov branič Nate Tenaglia ostao je sam "u korneru" na šutu za tri poena. Nakon što je ispucalo loptu prema njemu je krenuo Platt koji je očito zakasnio blokirati šut, ali je nimalo nježno laktom zakucao Tenagliju u glavu i nokautirao ga. Zbog tog nasrtaja Platt je zaradio tehničku pogrešku i isključenje s utakmice.

Nakon susreta nikome nije bilo jasno zbog čega se dogodio ovakav nasrtaj, no odmah su reagirali sa Sveučilišta Fitchburg koji su zbog ovog napada odmah Kewanu Plattu zabranili ulazak u kampus, a naknadno će Vijeće odlučiti i o njegovoj budućoj akademskoj karijeri s obzirom na to kako stoji u priopćenju "Sveučilište ima nultu toleranciju prema bilo kakvom obliku nasilja ovakvo ponašanje je nesportsko i sramotno za jednu akademsku instituciju".

Svakome je poznat pojam "pomračenje uma", ali koliko to mora biti kod jednog sportaša kada se napravi ovakav brutalan i nesportski potez. Kewan Platt košarkaš Sveučilišta Fitchburg zaradio je suspenziju i izbačen je s kampusa nakon što je na košarkaškoj utakmici bez ikakvog valjanog razloga brutalno nokautirao suparničkog igrača. Fitchburg je poražen u prilično mirnom susretu protiv Sveučilišta Nicholls i bila bi to jedna obična košarkaška utakmica da je nije obilježio ovaj incident.

U samoj završnici susreta igrači Nichollsa su izveli kontru i njihov branič Nate Tenaglia ostao je sam "u korneru" na šutu za tri poena. Nakon što je ispucalo loptu prema njemu je krenuo Platt koji je očito zakasnio blokirati šut, ali je nimalo nježno laktom zakucao Tenagliju u glavu i nokautirao ga. Zbog tog nasrtaja Platt je zaradio tehničku pogrešku i isključenje s utakmice.

Nakon susreta nikome nije bilo jasno zbog čega se dogodio ovakav nasrtaj, no odmah su reagirali sa Sveučilišta Fitchburg koji su zbog ovog napada odmah Kewanu Plattu zabranili ulazak u kampus, a naknadno će Vijeće odlučiti i o njegovoj budućoj akademskoj karijeri s obzirom na to kako stoji u priopćenju "Sveučilište ima nultu toleranciju prema bilo kakvom obliku nasilja ovakvo ponašanje je nesportsko i sramotno za jednu akademsku instituciju".
