DeMarcus Cousins je ponovo ozlijeđen. Američki mediji javljaju kako se centar Los Angeles Lakersa ozlijedio prilikom treninga u Las Vegasu, a izgleda kako je riječ o težoj ozljedi. Naime, ugledni ESPN-ov novinar Adrian Wojnarowski donosi kako se radi o ozljedi koljena. Iz krugova bliskih igraču potvrđeno je kako je riječ o ozbiljnoj ozljedi, a sumnja se da se radi o ozljedi prednjih križnih ligamenata u koljenu, prenose Sportske novosti.

Cousins je odmah nakon ozljede otputovao u Los Angeles gdje će liječnici Lakersa utvrditi o kakvoj se točno ozljedi radi. Ako se potvrdi dijagnoza pucanja prednjih križnih ligamenata, jedne od najtežih košarkaških ozljeda, 211 centimetara visoki centar bi mogao propustiti veći dio sljedeće sezone, ako ne i cijenu.

Teža ozljeda znači kako bi Cousins s 29 godina potencijalno mogao i završiti karijeru. Naime, on je od dolaska u NBA ligu 2010. godine patio od sitnih ozljeda, a u posljednje dvije godine situacija se pogoršala. Prvo je u New Orleansu ozlijedio Ahilovu tetivu, a lani je, igrajući za Golden State, doživio ozljedu kvadricepsa.

U karijeri je Cousins na sjajnom prosjeku od 21,2 poena, 10,9 skokova, 3,2 asistencije, 1,4 ukradene lopte i 1,2 blokade i definitivno je jedan od najboljih centara u posljednjih 10 godina, ali prethodne dvije ozljede su ostavile velikog traga na njemu pa igrajući za Warriorse nije bio važan kao dok je igrao u Sacramentu. Bez obzira na lanjskih 16,3 poena i 8,2 skokoa, Cousins u obrani nije mogao pratiti svoje protivnike pa ga je trener Golden Statea Steve Kerr izostavljao iz najvažnijih trenutaka utakmice.

Cousins se ovog ljeta priključio Lakersima i potpisao jednogodišnji ugovor za 3,5 milijuna dolara. Nadao se da može vratiti nekadašnju formu, ali sada se ta želja čini potpuno neizvediva te bi mogao biti sretan ako se uopće vrati na parket.

DeMarcus Cousins je ponovo ozlijeđen. Američki mediji javljaju kako se centar Los Angeles Lakersa ozlijedio prilikom treninga u Las Vegasu, a izgleda kako je riječ o težoj ozljedi. Naime, ugledni ESPN-ov novinar Adrian Wojnarowski donosi kako se radi o ozljedi koljena. Iz krugova bliskih igraču potvrđeno je kako je riječ o ozbiljnoj ozljedi, a sumnja se da se radi o ozljedi prednjih križnih ligamenata u koljenu, prenose Sportske novosti.

Cousins je odmah nakon ozljede otputovao u Los Angeles gdje će liječnici Lakersa utvrditi o kakvoj se točno ozljedi radi. Ako se potvrdi dijagnoza pucanja prednjih križnih ligamenata, jedne od najtežih košarkaških ozljeda, 211 centimetara visoki centar bi mogao propustiti veći dio sljedeće sezone, ako ne i cijenu.

Teža ozljeda znači kako bi Cousins s 29 godina potencijalno mogao i završiti karijeru. Naime, on je od dolaska u NBA ligu 2010. godine patio od sitnih ozljeda, a u posljednje dvije godine situacija se pogoršala. Prvo je u New Orleansu ozlijedio Ahilovu tetivu, a lani je, igrajući za Golden State, doživio ozljedu kvadricepsa.

U karijeri je Cousins na sjajnom prosjeku od 21,2 poena, 10,9 skokova, 3,2 asistencije, 1,4 ukradene lopte i 1,2 blokade i definitivno je jedan od najboljih centara u posljednjih 10 godina, ali prethodne dvije ozljede su ostavile velikog traga na njemu pa igrajući za Warriorse nije bio važan kao dok je igrao u Sacramentu. Bez obzira na lanjskih 16,3 poena i 8,2 skokoa, Cousins u obrani nije mogao pratiti svoje protivnike pa ga je trener Golden Statea Steve Kerr izostavljao iz najvažnijih trenutaka utakmice.

Cousins se ovog ljeta priključio Lakersima i potpisao jednogodišnji ugovor za 3,5 milijuna dolara. Nadao se da može vratiti nekadašnju formu, ali sada se ta želja čini potpuno neizvediva te bi mogao biti sretan ako se uopće vrati na parket.
