Henrik Širko se vraća na Baldekin! Ovaj put i službeno, jer je iskusni 27-godišnji krilni igrač, visok 198 centimetara potpisao jednogodišnji ugovor sa Šibenkom. Time su ‘narančasti’ dobili i najveće pojačanje tijekom kampanje ljetnog ‘mercata’. Naime, Širko je već u nekoliko navrata vježbao sa svojim matičnim klubom, a sada je napokon stavio i potpis na ugovor te će zaigrati i službene utakmice.

Jer, rođeni Šibenčanin je tek prve seniorske korake napravio na Baldekinu, dok je pravu karijeru gradio izvan svoga grada. Najprije u riječkom Kvarneru, a potom je prešao u Zadar, gdje je ostao dvije sezone. Sljedeća postaja mu je bila Split, gdje je vjerojatno igrao svoju najbolju košarku u karijeri, što ga je dovelo i do seniorske reprezentacije Hrvatske. Nakon kratke avanture u Zaboku, prešao je u grčki Peristeri iz Atene. Posljednja postaja u njegovoj karijeri je KB Peja. Osim toga, Širko je bio član svih mlađih selekcija reprezentacije Hrvatske.

- Trenirao sam s momcima u klubu skoro dva mjeseca i došla je prilika da potpišem. Dogovorio sam se s upravom i želim najviše zahvaliti sportskom direktoru Filipu Vukičeviću koji se maksimalno ‘upregao’ da se dogovorimo i sve što je kazao je ispoštovao. Drago mi je što sam se vratio kući na Baldekin i ja se nadam da ćemo se uspjeti zabaviti ove sezone - kazao je Henrik Širko nakon potpisa ugovora.

Zabavno sa Širkom svakako bi trebalo biti s Funcutima, budući da košarkaš nikada nije krio da je vatreni navijač Šibenke, čak i dok je igrao za najljuće rivale Zadar i Split. Međutim, treneru Dženanu Rahimiću bit će puno važnije ono što će Širko davati na parketu. Iskusni košarkaš imat će težak zadatak igrački nadomjestiti učinak Tonija Nakića koji je otišao u Cibonu.

- Mislim da o njegovim igračkim kvalitetama ne treba puno govoriti, svi znaju da je Henrik Širko ABA-ligaški igrač. Uostalom igrao je i za Zadar i Split. Njegova uloga u ekipi je neprocjenjiva, kako na terenu tako i u svlačionici. Par mjeseci je s nama na treningu, tako da neće trebati puno vremena za uigravanje. Širko je mlad igrač, a opet iskusan, tako da od njega naši mladi igrači sigurno mogu puno naučiti. Igrač je to koji može igrati poziciju ‘tri’, a u nekim utakmicama i poziciju ‘četiri’, kada poželimo sniziti petorku. Zahvalio bih upravi kluba na dovođenju ovako vrijednog igračkog pojačanja - rekao je trener Rahimić.

Angažmanom Širka, Šibenka je manje-više kompletirala igrački roster za predstojeću sezonu. U kuloarima se još spominje mogućnost jedne posudbe, konkretno mladog 19- godišnjeg Sandra Rašića, šutera iz Cibone. Osim Širka, posebno intrigira dolazak američkog braniča Treya Freemana (28). Šibenčani s Amerikancima nisu imali sreće u posljednje vrijeme, ali s igračima ‘preko bare’ se nikad ne zna.

Oni su poput čentruna - dok ga se ne otvori, nikada ne znate što je unutra. To više što Freeman u karijeri nema europskog iskustva, pa je iza njegovog imena znak upitnika još i veći. Bez europskog iskustva u seniorskoj košarci je i krilni centar Bruno Solomun (23), koji je na Baldekin stigao nakon školovanja u SAD-u. Četvrto novo ime na Baldekinu je crnogorski centar Milija Miković, koji je lani igrao za Goricu. ‘Pod zastavom’ trenera Rahimića, još su kapetan Bašić, mladi koji imaju seniorskog iskustva (Šarić i Gulin) te plejada golobradih koji bi trebali biti budućnost kluba (Pleadina, Klarin, Vlaić, Živković, Antić...).

U ne baš zavidnoj financijskoj situaciji čini se kako je uprava Šibenke uspjela složiti nelošu momčad. Vjerojatno ne toliko kvalitetnu kakva je bila lani, jer će vrlo teško biti nadomjestiti odlaske Nakića, Vuke, Vladovića, Vraneša, Milekovića, braće Ivišić... Sreća za stručni stožer Šibenke je što imperativa rezultata nema, a ni kvalitete cijele lige nije na visokoj razini.

Henrik Širko se vraća na Baldekin! Ovaj put i službeno, jer je iskusni 27-godišnji krilni igrač, visok 198 centimetara potpisao jednogodišnji ugovor sa Šibenkom. Time su ‘narančasti’ dobili i najveće pojačanje tijekom kampanje ljetnog ‘mercata’. Naime, Širko je već u nekoliko navrata vježbao sa svojim matičnim klubom, a sada je napokon stavio i potpis na ugovor te će zaigrati i službene utakmice.

Jer, rođeni Šibenčanin je tek prve seniorske korake napravio na Baldekinu, dok je pravu karijeru gradio izvan svoga grada. Najprije u riječkom Kvarneru, a potom je prešao u Zadar, gdje je ostao dvije sezone. Sljedeća postaja mu je bila Split, gdje je vjerojatno igrao svoju najbolju košarku u karijeri, što ga je dovelo i do seniorske reprezentacije Hrvatske. Nakon kratke avanture u Zaboku, prešao je u grčki Peristeri iz Atene. Posljednja postaja u njegovoj karijeri je KB Peja. Osim toga, Širko je bio član svih mlađih selekcija reprezentacije Hrvatske.

- Trenirao sam s momcima u klubu skoro dva mjeseca i došla je prilika da potpišem. Dogovorio sam se s upravom i želim najviše zahvaliti sportskom direktoru Filipu Vukičeviću koji se maksimalno ‘upregao’ da se dogovorimo i sve što je kazao je ispoštovao. Drago mi je što sam se vratio kući na Baldekin i ja se nadam da ćemo se uspjeti zabaviti ove sezone - kazao je Henrik Širko nakon potpisa ugovora.

Zabavno sa Širkom svakako bi trebalo biti s Funcutima, budući da košarkaš nikada nije krio da je vatreni navijač Šibenke, čak i dok je igrao za najljuće rivale Zadar i Split. Međutim, treneru Dženanu Rahimiću bit će puno važnije ono što će Širko davati na parketu. Iskusni košarkaš imat će težak zadatak igrački nadomjestiti učinak Tonija Nakića koji je otišao u Cibonu.

- Mislim da o njegovim igračkim kvalitetama ne treba puno govoriti, svi znaju da je Henrik Širko ABA-ligaški igrač. Uostalom igrao je i za Zadar i Split. Njegova uloga u ekipi je neprocjenjiva, kako na terenu tako i u svlačionici. Par mjeseci je s nama na treningu, tako da neće trebati puno vremena za uigravanje. Širko je mlad igrač, a opet iskusan, tako da od njega naši mladi igrači sigurno mogu puno naučiti. Igrač je to koji može igrati poziciju ‘tri’, a u nekim utakmicama i poziciju ‘četiri’, kada poželimo sniziti petorku. Zahvalio bih upravi kluba na dovođenju ovako vrijednog igračkog pojačanja - rekao je trener Rahimić.

Angažmanom Širka, Šibenka je manje-više kompletirala igrački roster za predstojeću sezonu. U kuloarima se još spominje mogućnost jedne posudbe, konkretno mladog 19- godišnjeg Sandra Rašića, šutera iz Cibone. Osim Širka, posebno intrigira dolazak američkog braniča Treya Freemana (28). Šibenčani s Amerikancima nisu imali sreće u posljednje vrijeme, ali s igračima ‘preko bare’ se nikad ne zna.

Oni su poput čentruna - dok ga se ne otvori, nikada ne znate što je unutra. To više što Freeman u karijeri nema europskog iskustva, pa je iza njegovog imena znak upitnika još i veći. Bez europskog iskustva u seniorskoj košarci je i krilni centar Bruno Solomun (23), koji je na Baldekin stigao nakon školovanja u SAD-u. Četvrto novo ime na Baldekinu je crnogorski centar Milija Miković, koji je lani igrao za Goricu. ‘Pod zastavom’ trenera Rahimića, još su kapetan Bašić, mladi koji imaju seniorskog iskustva (Šarić i Gulin) te plejada golobradih koji bi trebali biti budućnost kluba (Pleadina, Klarin, Vlaić, Živković, Antić...).

U ne baš zavidnoj financijskoj situaciji čini se kako je uprava Šibenke uspjela složiti nelošu momčad. Vjerojatno ne toliko kvalitetnu kakva je bila lani, jer će vrlo teško biti nadomjestiti odlaske Nakića, Vuke, Vladovića, Vraneša, Milekovića, braće Ivišić... Sreća za stručni stožer Šibenke je što imperativa rezultata nema, a ni kvalitete cijele lige nije na visokoj razini.

Henrik Širko se vraća na Baldekin! Ovaj put i službeno, jer je iskusni 27-godišnji krilni igrač, visok 198 centimetara potpisao jednogodišnji ugovor sa Šibenkom. Time su ‘narančasti’ dobili i najveće pojačanje tijekom kampanje ljetnog ‘mercata’. Naime, Širko je već u nekoliko navrata vježbao sa svojim matičnim klubom, a sada je napokon stavio i potpis na ugovor te će zaigrati i službene utakmice.

Jer, rođeni Šibenčanin je tek prve seniorske korake napravio na Baldekinu, dok je pravu karijeru gradio izvan svoga grada. Najprije u riječkom Kvarneru, a potom je prešao u Zadar, gdje je ostao dvije sezone. Sljedeća postaja mu je bila Split, gdje je vjerojatno igrao svoju najbolju košarku u karijeri, što ga je dovelo i do seniorske reprezentacije Hrvatske. Nakon kratke a...
