U ponedjeljak je i službeno obznanjeno kako je novi izbornik košarkaške reprezentacije SAD-a 56-godišnji Steve Kerr, inače trener Golden Statea.

Na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokyju ove godine košarkaši SAD-a su osvojili zlatnu medalju, a vodio ih je iskusni 72-godišnji košarkaški majstor Gregg Popovich koji je nakon tog velikog natjecanja odlučio napustiti tu dužnost.

Kerr je kao igrač pet puta bio NBA prvak, dok je kao trener tri puta bio najbolji u ligi (sve kao trener Golden Statea, 2015., 2017. i 2018. godine). I trenutačno je Golden State u samom vrhu NBA lige (omjer 24-6), a postalo je poznato i tko će biti u njegovom stožeru. Između ostalih, bit će tamo sadašnji trener Phoenixa Monty Williams ili, pak, trener Miami Heata Erik Spoelstra. Kerr je 2016. godine proglašen za najboljeg NBA trenera.

Novi trenerski tim potvrđen je u idućem ciklusu, odnosno, do Olimpijskih igara u Parizu 2024. godine.

U ponedjeljak je i službeno obznanjeno kako je novi izbornik košarkaške reprezentacije SAD-a 56-godišnji Steve Kerr, inače trener Golden Statea.

Na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokyju ove godine košarkaši SAD-a su osvojili zlatnu medalju, a vodio ih je iskusni 72-godišnji košarkaški majstor Gregg Popovich koji je nakon tog velikog natjecanja odlučio napustiti tu dužnost.

Kerr je kao igrač pet puta bio NBA prvak, dok je kao trener tri puta bio najbolji u ligi (sve kao trener Golden Statea, 2015., 2017. i 2018. godine). I trenutačno je Golden State u samom vrhu NBA lige (omjer 24-6), a postalo je poznato i tko će biti u njegovom stožeru. Između ostalih, bit će tamo sadašnji trener Phoenixa Monty Williams ili, pak, trener Miami Heata Erik Spoelstra. Kerr je 2016. godine proglašen za najboljeg NBA trenera.

Novi trenerski tim potvrđen je u idućem ciklusu, odnosno, do Olimpijskih igara u Parizu 2024. godine.

Steve Kerr službeno novi izbornik američkih košarkaša

U ponedjeljak je i službeno obznanjeno kako je novi izbornik košarkaške reprezentacije SAD-a 56-godišnji Steve Kerr, inače trener Golden Statea.

Na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokyju ove godine košarkaši SAD-a su osvojili zlatnu medalju, a vodio ih je iskusni 72-godišnji košarkaški majstor Gregg Popovich koji je nakon tog velikog natjecanja odlučio napustiti tu dužnost.

Kerr je kao igrač pet puta bio NBA prvak, dok je kao trener tri puta bio najbolji u ligi (sve kao trener Golden Statea, 2015., 2017. i 2018. godine). I trenutačno je Golden State u samom vrhu NBA lige (omjer 24-6), a postalo je poznato i tko će biti u njegovom stožeru.
