Očekivano visokom pobjedom protiv Malte hrvatski su vaterpolisti zaključili splitski turnir Europa Cupa. Bio je to zapravo lakši trening, budući da je razlika između dviju reprezentacija golema. Malta je prvi pogodak postigla tek u 13. minuti za smanjenje na 8:1...

Koliko god da je Srbija večer prije bila mamac za gledatelje, toliko je Malta bila neatraktivna te je u „suradnji“ s lijenim, kišnim nedjeljnim jutrom na tribine privukla jedva 100 gledatelja. Iako je ulaz bio besplatan. Šteta, reprezentacija je zaslužila da ju u nove pothvate otprati veći broj ljudi.

Splitsku skupinu Europa Cupa „barakude“ završavaju na trećoj poziciji, kao najslabiji u trokutu s prvoplasiranom Srbijom i drugoplasiranom Grčkom. Sve su tri reprezentacije u međusobnom omjeru na 1-1 i gol-razlici 0, pa je odlučivao veći broj postignutih pogodaka u trokutu. Srbija je zabila 19, Grčka 16, a Hrvatsak 13 golova.

Međutim, čak i da su Hrvati zauzeli prvo mjesto, opet bi se u skupini završnice turnira (5. – 8. travnja) našli sa Srbijom. S nama su još Francuska te Crna Gora ili Njemačka, a u drugoj su skupini Mađarska, Italija, Grčka i Španjolska.

Hrvatski izbornik Ivica Tucak generalno je zadovoljan sa svime osim s porazom od Grčke, iako ističe kako je on bio posljedica umora nakon dugog putovanja iz Moskve gdje su njegovi igrači imali utakmicu Svjetske lige s Rusijom svega dva dana ranije.

- Ovo natjecanje za nas nema presudan rezultatski značaj, ali nam dobro dođe da vidimo gdje smo i na čemu moramo raditi. Bilo nam je lijepo u Splitu, a posebno sam sretan zbog fer i korektnog navijanja protiv Srbije – rekao je Tucak, najbolji svjetski trener.

Očekivano visokom pobjedom protiv Malte hrvatski su vaterpolisti zaključili splitski turnir Europa Cupa. Bio je to zapravo lakši trening, budući da je razlika između dviju reprezentacija golema. Malta je prvi pogodak postigla tek u 13. minuti za smanjenje na 8:1...

Koliko god da je Srbija večer prije bila mamac za gledatelje, toliko je Malta bila neatraktivna te je u „suradnji“ s lijenim, kišnim nedjeljnim jutrom na tribine privukla jedva 100 gledatelja. Iako je ulaz bio besplatan. Šteta, reprezentacija je zaslužila da ju u nove pothvate otprati veći broj ljudi.

Splitsku skupinu Europa Cupa „barakude“ završavaju na trećoj poziciji, kao najslabiji u trokutu s prvoplasiranom Srbijom i drugoplasiranom Grčkom. Sve su tri reprezentacije u međusobnom omjeru na 1-1 i gol-razlici 0, pa je odlučivao veći broj postignutih pogodaka u trokutu. Srbija je zabila 19, Grčka 16, a Hrvatsak 13 golova.

Međutim, čak i da su Hrvati zauzeli prvo mjesto, opet bi se u skupini završnice turnira (5. – 8. travnja) našli sa Srbijom. S nama su još Francuska te Crna Gora ili Njemačka, a u drugoj su skupini Mađarska, Italija, Grčka i Španjolska.

Hrvatski izbornik Ivica Tucak generalno je zadovoljan sa svime osim s porazom od Grčke, iako ističe kako je on bio posljedica umora nakon dugog putovanja iz Moskve gdje su njegovi igrači imali utakmicu Svjetske lige s Rusijom svega dva dana ranije.

- Ovo natjecanje za nas nema presudan rezultatski značaj, ali nam dobro dođe da vidimo gdje smo i na čemu moramo raditi. Bilo nam je lijepo u Splitu, a posebno sam sretan zbog fer i korektnog navijanja protiv Srbije – rekao je Tucak, najbolji svjetski trener.
