Branitelj naslova Slovenac Tadej Pogačar pobjednik je 17. etape Tour de Francea, vožene u srijedu od Mureta do uspona na Col du Porteta kod Saint-Lary-Soulana, čime je povećao svoju prednost u ukupnom redoslijedu.

Etapa dužine 178,4 km u posljednjih je 65 kilometara sadržavala tri uspona, dva prve kategorije i posljednji najviše kategorije, dugog 16 km s prosječnim nagibom 8,7%, na kojem je pala odluka o pobjedniku.

Na polovici tog uspona glavnina je ulovila bjegunca Anthonyja Pereza (Cofidis) koji je imao silnu želju donijeti Francuzima pobjedu na Dan pada Bastille, ali Tadej Pogačar je imao drugačije planove. Napadima je slomio većinu suparnika, a uspjeli su ga pratiti samo Danac Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) i Ekvadorac Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) s kojima se do zadnjeg zavoja borio za pobjedu. Na njegov posljednji napad dvojac nije imao odgovor pa je branitelj naslova ciljem prošao tri sekunde prije Vingegaarda, a četiri sekunde ispred Carapaza.

Pogačaru je to druga pobjeda na ovogodišnjem Touru, na kojem je bio najbrži i na pojedinačnom kronometru u petoj etapi, a ukupno peta osvojena etapa na najvećoj biciklističkoj utrci.

Nitko drugi se nije približio ispod minute zaostatka pa je došlo do promjene na drugom mjestu ukupnog poretka koje sada drži Vingegaard s 5:39 minuta zaostatka za Pogačarom, dok trećeplasirani Carapaz zaostaje za 5:43 minuta. Kolumbijac Rigoberto Uran (EF Education-Nippo) pao je s drugog na četvrto mjesto, a njegov je zaostatak sada 7:17 minuta.

U četvrtak je na rasporedu još jedna teška, planinska etapa od Paua do Luz Ardidena, dužine 129,7 km. Ponovno će se o pobjedi odlučivati na posljednje dva uspona najviše kategorije, prvo na legendarni Col du Tourmalet (2115 m) dužine 17,1 km s prosječnim nagibom od 7,3%, a potom i do cilja u Luz Ardidenu (13,3 km, nagib 7,4%).

Branitelj naslova Slovenac Tadej Pogačar pobjednik je 17. etape Tour de Francea, vožene u srijedu od Mureta do uspona na Col du Porteta kod Saint-Lary-Soulana, čime je povećao svoju prednost u ukupnom redoslijedu.

Etapa dužine 178,4 km u posljednjih je 65 kilometara sadržavala tri uspona, dva prve kategorije i posljednji najviše kategorije, dugog 16 km s prosječnim nagibom 8,7%, na kojem je pala odluka o pobjedniku.

Na polovici tog uspona glavnina je ulovila bjegunca Anthonyja Pereza (Cofidis) koji je imao silnu želju donijeti Francuzima pobjedu na Dan pada Bastille, ali Tadej Pogačar je imao drugačije planove. Napadima je slomio većinu suparnika, a uspjeli su ga pratiti samo Danac Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) i Ekvadorac Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) s kojima se do zadnjeg zavoja borio za pobjedu. Na njegov posljednji napad dvojac nije imao odgovor pa je branitelj naslova ciljem prošao tri sekunde prije Vingegaarda, a četiri sekunde ispred Carapaza.

Pogačaru je to druga pobjeda na ovogodišnjem Touru, na kojem je bio najbrži i na pojedinačnom kronometru u petoj etapi, a ukupno peta osvojena etapa na najvećoj biciklističkoj utrci.

Nitko drugi se nije približio ispod minute zaostatka pa je došlo do promjene na drugom mjestu ukupnog poretka koje sada drži Vingegaard s 5:39 minuta zaostatka za Pogačarom, dok trećeplasirani Carapaz zaostaje za 5:43 minuta. Kolumbijac Rigoberto Uran (EF Education-Nippo) pao je s drugog na četvrto mjesto, a njegov je zaostatak sada 7:17 minuta.

U četvrtak je na rasporedu još jedna teška, planinska etapa od Paua do Luz Ardidena, dužine 129,7 km. Ponovno će se o pobjedi odlučivati na posljednje dva uspona najviše kategorije, prvo na legendarni Col du Tourmalet (2115 m) dužine 17,1 km s prosječnim nagibom od 7,3%, a potom i do cilja u Luz Ardidenu (13,3 km, nagib 7,4%).

Branitelj naslova Slovenac Tadej Pogačar pobjednik je 17. etape Tour de Francea, vožene u srijedu od Mureta do uspona na Col du Porteta kod Saint-Lary-Soulana, čime je povećao svoju prednost u ukupnom redoslijedu.

Etapa dužine 178,4 km u posljednjih je 65 kilometara sadržavala tri uspona, dva prve kategorije i posljednji najviše kategorije, dugog 16 km s prosječnim nagibom 8,7%, na kojem je pala odluka o pobjedniku.

Na polovici tog uspona glavnina je ulovila bjegunca Anthonyja Pereza (Cofidis) koji je imao silnu želju donijeti Francuzima pobjedu na Dan pada Bastille, ali Tadej Pogačar je imao drugačije planove. Napadima je slomio većinu suparnika, a uspjeli su ga pratiti samo Danac Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) i Ekvadorac Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) s kojima se do zadnjeg...
