Mirko Filipović "Cro Cop" pobijedio je na Bellatoru 216 Amerikanca Roya Nelsona odlukom sudaca nakon tri runde.
- Bilo mi je mentalno teže nego fizički. Teško mi je reći je li mi sada teže boriti se s 44 godine ili kada sam bio mlađi. Ono što je najvažnije je da se osjećam jako dobro, rekao Filipović nakon pobjede.
Nelsonu je teško pao poraz i tijekom jučerašnjeg dana je više puta provocirao objavama preko društvenih mreža.
Za 44-godišnjeg Filipovića je ovo deseta uzastopna pobjeda, a u borbi u kojoj je bio taktički dominantniji obranio je sve pokušaje Amerikanca da ga sruši.
Također, to je 38. pobjeda u karijeri Cro Copa u kojoj ima i 11 poraza te dva remija. Protiv Nelsona se borio i 2011. godine u UFC-u i tada je izgubio.
Filipović se sinoć oglasio i poslao poruku navijačima...
- Hvala na porukama koje ste mi slali uoči i nakon meča, od srca hvala. Borbu ste vidjeli i neću ju previše komentirati. Nelson je tvrd i težak borac za svakoga. Nakon borbe je radio nepotreban cirkus, ali šta je tu je. Žalio se na sve i svašta, komisiji je čak prijavio da su mi noge bile skliske?!, pa su došli za mnom u svlačionicu predstavnici Atletske komisije i pregledali me?!
- Iako sam od ulaska u arenu do kraja borbe uz sebe neprekidno imao predstavnika Atletske komisije koji je doslovno išao u wc za mnom, i bio sam detaljno pregledan uoči izlaska u borilište. Ali su se i oni smijali a jedan od njih kaže, ma Nelson je takav, stalno cirkusi sa njim. Na jednoj priredbi nas hvali da smo najbolji na svijetu a na drugoj da smo najgore smeće.
- Nakon toga je Nelson prijetio okolo i to čak da će donijeti oružje, ne znam kome je to bilo upućeno ali je stigla policija i pretražila mu sobu. Nema zaje*ancije sa policijom ovdje. Nakon svega mi je ipak poslao poruku i čestitao na pobjedi i zatražio novu borbu. Odgovorio sam mu ‘zašto ne?’, ali to nije do mene, a nisam siguran u njegov status u Bellatoru nakon svega ovoga.
- I još nešto, u meču se dogodila najbizarnija stvar u mojoj karijeri. U jednom klinču dok sam ga drzao na ogradi lik me ugrize za prst!! Zagriz je bio preko gume za zube što je naravno ublazilo jačinu ugriza, ali da i to nekome može pasti na pamet, nisam znao do sinoć, pozdrav!!

- Bilo mi je mentalno teže nego fizički. Teško mi je reći je li mi sada teže boriti se s 44 godine ili kada sam bio mlađi. Ono što je najvažnije je da se osjećam jako dobro, rekao Filipović nakon pobjede.
Nelsonu je teško pao poraz i tijekom jučerašnjeg dana je više puta provocirao objavama preko društvenih mreža.
Za 44-godišnjeg Filipovića je ovo deseta uzastopna pobjeda, a u borbi u kojoj je bio taktički dominantniji obranio je sve pokušaje Amerikanca da ga sruši.
Također, to je 38. pobjeda u karijeri Cro Copa u kojoj ima i 11 poraza te dva remija. Protiv Nelsona se borio i 2011. godine u UFC-u i tada je izgubio.
Filipović se sinoć oglasio i poslao poruku navijačima...
- Hvala na porukama koje ste mi slali uoči i nakon meča, od srca hvala. Borbu ste vidjeli i neću ju previše komentirati. Nelson je tvrd i težak borac za svakoga. Nakon borbe je radio nepotreban cirkus, ali šta je tu je. Žalio se na sve i svašta, komisiji je čak prijavio da su mi noge bile skliske?!, pa su došli za mnom u svlačionicu predstavnici Atletske komisije i pregledali me?!
- Iako sam od ulaska u arenu do kraja borbe uz sebe neprekidno imao predstavnika Atletske komisije koji je doslovno išao u wc za mnom, i bio sam detaljno pregledan uoči izlaska u borilište. Ali su se i oni smijali a jedan od njih kaže, ma Nelson je takav, stalno cirkusi sa njim. Na jednoj priredbi nas hvali da smo najbolji na svijetu a na drugoj da smo najgore smeće.
- Nakon toga je Nelson prijetio okolo i to čak da će donijeti oružje, ne znam kome je to bilo upućeno ali je stigla policija i pretražila mu sobu. Nema zaje*ancije sa policijom ovdje. Nakon svega mi je ipak poslao poruku i čestitao na pobjedi i zatražio novu borbu. Odgovorio sam mu ‘zašto ne?’, ali to nije do mene, a nisam siguran u njegov status u Bellatoru nakon svega ovoga.
- I još nešto, u meču se dogodila najbizarnija stvar u mojoj karijeri. U jednom klinču dok sam ga drzao na ogradi lik me ugrize za prst!! Zagriz je bio preko gume za zube što je naravno ublazilo jačinu ugriza, ali da i to nekome može pasti na pamet, nisam znao do sinoć, pozdrav!!
