Bivši visoki dužnosnik organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju i još trojica muškarca uhićeni su u srijedu u Japanu u sklopu istrage o mogućem podmićivanju, rekli su japanski tužitelji.

Haruyuki Takahashi (78), koji je bio dio organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara održanih prošle godine u Tokiju, osumnjičen je da je 2017. primio protuvrijednost više od 320.000 eura od Aoki Holdingsa, japanskog lanca prodavaonica poslovne odjeće, nakon potpisivanja ugovora između njegove konzultantske tvrtke i ove grupe, koja je 2018. godine postala službeni partner Igara.

OI su se trebale održati 2020. godine, ali su odgođene za 2021. zbog pandemije Covida-19.

Takahashi je uhićen u isto vrijeme kad i predsjednik Aoki Holdingsa, Hironori Aoki (83) i još dvoje dužnosnika ove tvrtke. Optužen je za primanje mita "znajući da je to novac zahvale za povoljan i povlašten tretman" koji je dao Aoki Holdingsu.

Prema tužiteljima, Takahashi je imao ukupno 51 milijun jena prebačenih na bankovni račun tvrtke koju vodi, preko oko 50 transfera provedenih između listopada 2017. i ožujka 2022.

Bivši visoki dužnosnik organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju i još trojica muškarca uhićeni su u srijedu u Japanu u sklopu istrage o mogućem podmićivanju, rekli su japanski tužitelji.

Haruyuki Takahashi (78), koji je bio dio organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara održanih prošle godine u Tokiju, osumnjičen je da je 2017. primio protuvrijednost više od 320.000 eura od Aoki Holdingsa, japanskog lanca prodavaonica poslovne odjeće, nakon potpisivanja ugovora između njegove konzultantske tvrtke i ove grupe, koja je 2018. godine postala službeni partner Igara.

OI su se trebale održati 2020. godine, ali su odgođene za 2021. zbog pandemije Covida-19.

Takahashi je uhićen u isto vrijeme kad i predsjednik Aoki Holdingsa, Hironori Aoki (83) i još dvoje dužnosnika ove tvrtke. Optužen je za primanje mita "znajući da je to novac zahvale za povoljan i povlašten tretman" koji je dao Aoki Holdingsu.

Prema tužiteljima, Takahashi je imao ukupno 51 milijun jena prebačenih na bankovni račun tvrtke koju vodi, preko oko 50 transfera provedenih između listopada 2017. i ožujka 2022.

Japanski dužnosnik uhićen zbog primanja mita vezano za organizaciju Olimpijskih igara: u zatvoru je sa još trojicom korumpiranih suradnika

Bivši visoki dužnosnik organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju i još trojica muškarca uhićeni su u srijedu u Japanu u sklopu istrage o mogućem podmićivanju, rekli su japanski tužitelji.

Haruyuki Takahashi (78), koji je bio dio organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara održanih prošle godine u Tokiju, osumnjičen je da je 2017. primio protuvrijednost više od 320.000 eura od Aoki Holdingsa, japanskog lanca prodavaonica poslovne odjeće, nakon potpisivanja ugovora između njegove konzultantske tvrtke i ove grupe, koja je 2018. godine postala službeni partner Igara.

OI su se trebale održati 2020. godine, ali su odgođene za 2021. zbog pandemije Covida-19.
