Hrvatsku zastavu na svečanosti otvaranja zimskih paraolimpijskih igara u Pjongčangu nosila je 17-godišnja skijašica Eva Goluža.

- Za mene je to jedan emotivan trenutak prožet nacionalnim ponosom koji rijetki ljudi dožive, a pogotovo sa 17 godina - kazala je 17-godišnja skijašica koja nastupa u konkurenciji slijepih i slabovidnih.

Slijepi i slabovidni skijaši skijaju uz pomoć vodiča koji skija ispred. Evin nastup ne bi bio moguć bez profesorice kineziologije Ane Žigman. Ana je ta koja skija ispred Eve i daje joj upute o stazi, uvjetima, vratima. Zato njihove kacige imaju mikrofone i slušalice. Zajedno skijaju dvije godine.

- Želim odvoziti najbolje što znam, a moj najveći sportski san je osvajanje medalje na Paraolimpijskim igrama," kazala je Eva dodavši: U Koreji će nastupiti svi najbolji na svijetu, mnogo iskusnih natjecatelja koji iza sebe imaju puno natjecanja i pobjeda, ali nikada se ne zna. Možda ovaj put pobijedi mladost.

Kako su ovo njezine prve paraolimpijske igre, Eva se raspitivala kod starijih kolega, ali i kod naših olimpijaca koji su nedavno nastupili u Pjongčangu.

- Kažu kako je u selu jako zanimljivo, da je staza dobro pripremljena i nadam se najboljem.

Priznala je kako uoči početka natjecanja ima pozitivnu tremu.

- Sve je to pozitivna trema, neko uzbuđenje koje raste kako se približava početak natjecanja.

Osim što je jedna od naših najboljih skijašica s invaliditetom, Eva je odlična učenica Opće gimnazije Tituša Brezovačkog, uči jezike u inozemstvu i već drugu godinu za redom primljena je u prestižne ljetne programe renomiranih američkih škola.

- Jednom davno sam na jednoj reklami za sportaše s invaliditetom vidjela natpis „I am differently able!“ i to mi se jako svidjelo. I osobe s bilo kojom vrstom hendikepa mogu puno toga ostvariti ali na njima prilagođen način. Ja nikad neću moći skijati brzo kao vodeće svjetske skijašice bez invaliditeta ali uz svoju trenericu koja skija ispred mene odskijam bez greške istu tehnički zahtjevnu stazu kao i one. Radi se samo o prilagodbi drugačijim potrebama i onda ništa nije nemoguće - kazala je.

Hrvatsku zastavu na svečanosti otvaranja zimskih paraolimpijskih igara u Pjongčangu nosila je 17-godišnja skijašica Eva Goluža.

- Za mene je to jedan emotivan trenutak prožet nacionalnim ponosom koji rijetki ljudi dožive, a pogotovo sa 17 godina - kazala je 17-godišnja skijašica koja nastupa u konkurenciji slijepih i slabovidnih.

Slijepi i slabovidni skijaši skijaju uz pomoć vodiča koji skija ispred. Evin nastup ne bi bio moguć bez profesorice kineziologije Ane Žigman. Ana je ta koja skija ispred Eve i daje joj upute o stazi, uvjetima, vratima. Zato njihove kacige imaju mikrofone i slušalice. Zajedno skijaju dvije godine.

- Želim odvoziti najbolje što znam, a moj najveći sportski san je osvajanje medalje na Paraolimpijskim igrama," kazala je Eva dodavši: U Koreji će nastupiti svi najbolji na svijetu, mnogo iskusnih natjecatelja koji iza sebe imaju puno natjecanja i pobjeda, ali nikada se ne zna. Možda ovaj put pobijedi mladost.

Kako su ovo njezine prve paraolimpijske igre, Eva se raspitivala kod starijih kolega, ali i kod naših olimpijaca koji su nedavno nastupili u Pjongčangu.

- Kažu kako je u selu jako zanimljivo, da je staza dobro pripremljena i nadam se najboljem.

Priznala je kako uoči početka natjecanja ima pozitivnu tremu.

- Sve je to pozitivna trema, neko uzbuđenje koje raste kako se približava početak natjecanja.

Osim što je jedna od naših najboljih skijašica s invaliditetom, Eva je odlična učenica Opće gimnazije Tituša Brezovačkog, uči jezike u inozemstvu i već drugu godinu za redom primljena je u prestižne ljetne programe renomiranih američkih škola.

- Jednom davno sam na jednoj reklami za sportaše s invaliditetom vidjela natpis „I am differently able!“ i to mi se jako svidjelo. I osobe s bilo kojom vrstom hendikepa mogu puno toga ostvariti ali na njima prilagođen način. Ja nikad neću moći skijati brzo kao vodeće svjetske skijašice bez invaliditeta ali uz svoju trenericu koja skija ispred mene odskijam bez greške istu tehnički zahtjevnu stazu kao i one. Radi se samo o prilagodbi drugačijim potrebama i onda ništa nije nemoguće - kazala je.
