Trener novozelandske reprezentacije u skakanju s motkom Jeremy McColl kažnjen je sa 10 godina zabrane rada u atletici nakon što je istragom utvrđeno kako je neprimjerenim rječnikom maltretirao malodobne sportaše. 

Istragom, koja je pokrenuta nakon što se nekoliko atletičara požalilo na McCollove postupke, utvrđeno je kako je McColl koristio neprimjerene seksualne opaske prema svojim sportašima tijekom treninga, ali i putem socijalnih medija te tekstualnih poruka.

McColl, pod čijim je vodstvom Eliza McCartney osvojila brončanu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Rio de Janeiru 2016. godine, u potpunosti je surađivao s istražiteljima te je podnio ostavku na svoju dužnost.

- Ispričavam se svima koje sam povrijedio. Shvaćam kako moje ponašanje nije bilo u skladu s normama Novozelandskog atletskog saveza, bilo je uvredljivo i neprilično - objavio je McColl.

Novozelandski atletski savez dodao je kako će u potpunosti surađivati u bilo kakvoj daljnjoj istrazi policije ukoliko do nje dođe.

Trener novozelandske reprezentacije u skakanju s motkom Jeremy McColl kažnjen je sa 10 godina zabrane rada u atletici nakon što je istragom utvrđeno kako je neprimjerenim rječnikom maltretirao malodobne sportaše. 

Istragom, koja je pokrenuta nakon što se nekoliko atletičara požalilo na McCollove postupke, utvrđeno je kako je McColl koristio neprimjerene seksualne opaske prema svojim sportašima tijekom treninga, ali i putem socijalnih medija te tekstualnih poruka.

McColl, pod čijim je vodstvom Eliza McCartney osvojila brončanu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Rio de Janeiru 2016. godine, u potpunosti je surađivao s istražiteljima te je podnio ostavku na svoju dužnost.

- Ispričavam se svima koje sam povrijedio. Shvaćam kako moje ponašanje nije bilo u skladu s normama Novozelandskog atletskog saveza, bilo je uvredljivo i neprilično - objavio je McColl.

Novozelandski atletski savez dodao je kako će u potpunosti surađivati u bilo kakvoj daljnjoj istrazi policije ukoliko do nje dođe.

Novozelandskom treneru deset godina zabrane rada zbog vrijeđanja malodobnih atletičara: ‘Nije bilo u skladu s normama‘

Trener novozelandske reprezentacije u skakanju s motkom Jeremy McColl kažnjen je sa 10 godina zabrane rada u atletici nakon što je istragom utvrđeno kako je neprimjerenim rječnikom maltretirao malodobne sportaše. 

Istragom, koja je pokrenuta nakon što se nekoliko atletičara požalilo na McCollove postupke, utvrđeno je kako je McColl koristio neprimjerene seksualne opaske prema svojim sportašima tijekom treninga, ali i putem socijalnih medija te tekstualnih poruka.

McColl, pod čijim je vodstvom Eliza McCartney osvojila brončanu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Rio de Janeiru 2016. godine, u potpunosti je surađivao s istražiteljima te je podnio ostavku na svoju dužnost.

- Ispričavam se svima koje sam povrijedio. Shvaćam kako moje ponašanje nije bilo u skladu s normama Novozelandskog atletskog saveza, bilo je uvredljivo i neprilično - objavio je McColl.

Novozelandski atletski savez dodao je kako će u potpunosti surađivati u bilo kakvoj daljnjoj istrazi policije ukoliko do nje dođe.
