Olimpijski pobjednici, svjetski prvaci, osvajači Dijamantne lige... Prema ugledu i formi sudionika 71. Memorijala Borisa Hanžekovića, ovogodišnji bi zagrebački atletski miting rezultatima mogao doseći status – najboljeg u povijesti.

Tradicionalno, bacanje diska biti će u fokusu zagrebačke publike. Posebice zbog Sandre Perković, kojoj u Zagreb dolazi Amerikanka Valarie Allman, aktualna pobjednica Dijamantne lige i vlasnica olimpijskog zlata. 

- Veselim se nastupu. Bilo je uzbudljivo u zadnje vrijeme između Allman i mene, ali ja se nadam da ću iskoristiti prednost domaćeg terena. Nisam u formi kao na Igrama u Tokiju, ali ako se sve poklopi disk će letjeti daleko. Konkurencija sve nas čini boljima. Nije to samo Allman, već i  Kubanke i druge… Puno sam postigla za 12 godina. Tokio nije moje realno stanje, dogodio se peh. Ne, nije me naučio puno, samo me smirio i shvatila sam da je ljudski izgubiti i vratiti se iz poraza. Mnogi se nakon 12 godina uspjeha i toga ne bi vratili, a ja želim završiti sezonu sa smiješkom i pripremiti se za dalje – kazala je Perković dan uoči natjecanja.

Jednako zanimljivo biti će i u muškoj inačici bacanja diska. U Zagreb stiže pobjedničko postolje iz Tokija: zlatni Daniel Stahl (68,90), srebrni Simon Pettersson (67,39) i brončani  Lukas Weisshaidinger  (67,07)!

- Moj cilj je dobro se zabaviti. Pokušat ćemo, naravno, skinuti neki rekord… Repriza OI u Tokiju, sjajna konkurencija, i nadam se da ću vikati i vrištati za ljude u Zagrebu i u Hrvatskoj – odgovorio je olimpijski pobjednik, svjetski prvak i osvajač Dijamantne lige, Daniel Stahl na upit o obaranju svjetskog (74,08) ili barem rekorda mitinga (68,37).

U karijeri Borisa Hanžekovića disciplina – 110 metara prepone, imala je posebno mjesto. Stoga je i utrka na Memorijalu koji nosi njegovo ime – posebna. I ove godine konkurencija je respektabilna. Na startnoj su listi olimpijski pobjednik Hansle Parchment, te Ronald Levy i Devon Allen, treći i četvrti iz Tokija. 

- U Zürichu (Dijamantna liga) nisam bio dobar, ali sada se osjećam bolje i ne sumnjam u dobru utrku – ustvrdio je Parchment po dolasku u Zagreb. 

Ugrožen Bolt

Na zagrebački miting stiže i Trayvon Bromell, najbrži sprinter sezone. Njegova nazočnost na stadionu Mladosti sugerira da je ugrožen i aktualni rekord mitinga (9.85), kojega je 2011. postavio legendarni Usain Bolt.

- Mislim da će rekord biti na kušnji, jer ima nas više koji smo trčali brže ove sezone. Ovakvi mitinzi su zabavni, jer nismo fokusirani isključivo na rezultat nego i na izvedbu, a to je dobro kada se želi napraviti nešto više – najavio je Bromell.

Prošle su sezone Britanci osvojili prva tri mjesta u utrci na 800 metara. I ove će ih godine biti trojica u konkurenciji, ali prema listi ‘’uzvanika’’ teško je očekivati lanjski epilog. A novi menadžer mitinga Alfons Juck predviđa kako će ovo biti ‘’najjača utrka na 800 metara u povijesti mitinga’’. 

- Da nije Zagreba, vjerojatno bih ranije završio sezonu, no ovdje se uvijek rado vraćam. Po startnoj listi ne mislim da će biti jurnjave, jer poprilično smo umorni, ali nikad se zna tko može eksplodirati – smatra Amel Tuka, reprezentativac BiH, svjetski doprvak i redoviti sudionik zagrebačkog mitinga.

Ugrožen svjetski rekord na 2000 m

Premda je zakoračio u osmo desetljeće postojanja Memorijal Borisa Hanžekovića nikada nije upisao – svjetski rekord. Ove godine utrka na 2.000 metara za žene procijenjena je kao disciplina, koja bi trebala promijeniti povijest. Na startu će biti Francine Niyonsaba, Freweyni  Gebreezibeher, Mercy Cherono, Meraf Bahta... Također i dvije trkačice ‘’pacemakerice’’ koje bi trebale diktirati ritam za svjetski rekord.

Olimpijski pobjednici, svjetski prvaci, osvajači Dijamantne lige... Prema ugledu i formi sudionika 71. Memorijala Borisa Hanžekovića, ovogodišnji bi zagrebački atletski miting rezultatima mogao doseći status – najboljeg u povijesti.

Tradicionalno, bacanje diska biti će u fokusu zagrebačke publike. Posebice zbog Sandre Perković, kojoj u Zagreb dolazi Amerikanka Valarie Allman, aktualna pobjednica Dijamantne lige i vlasnica olimpijskog zlata. 

- Veselim se nastupu. Bilo je uzbudljivo u zadnje vrijeme između Allman i mene, ali ja se nadam da ću iskoristiti prednost domaćeg terena. Nisam u formi kao na Igrama u Tokiju, ali ako se sve poklopi disk će letjeti daleko. Konkurencija sve nas čini boljima. Nije to samo Allman, već i  Kubanke i druge… Puno sam postigla za 12 godina. Tokio nije moje realno stanje, dogodio se peh. Ne, nije me naučio puno, samo me smirio i shvatila sam da je ljudski izgubiti i vratiti se iz poraza. Mnogi se nakon 12 godina uspjeha i toga ne bi vratili, a ja želim završiti sezonu sa smiješkom i pripremiti se za dalje – kazala je Perković dan uoči natjecanja.

Jednako zanimljivo biti će i u muškoj inačici bacanja diska. U Zagreb stiže pobjedničko postolje iz Tokija: zlatni Daniel Stahl (68,90), srebrni Simon Pettersson (67,39) i brončani  Lukas Weisshaidinger  (67,07)!

- Moj cilj je dobro se zabaviti. Pokušat ćemo, naravno, skinuti neki rekord… Repriza OI u Tokiju, sjajna konkurencija, i nadam se da ću vikati i vrištati za ljude u Zagrebu i u Hrvatskoj – odgovorio je olimpijski pobjednik, svjetski prvak i osvajač Dijamantne lige, Daniel Stahl na upit o obaranju svjetskog (74,08) ili barem rekorda mitinga (68,37).

U karijeri Borisa Hanžekovića disciplina – 110 metara prepone, imala je posebno mjesto. Stoga je i utrka na Memorijalu koji nosi njegovo ime – posebna. I ove godine konkurencija je respektabilna. Na startnoj su listi olimpijski pobjednik Hansle Parchment, te Ronald Levy i Devon Allen, treći i četvrti iz Tokija. 

- U Zürichu (Dijamantna liga) nisam bio dobar, ali sada se osjećam bolje i ne sumnjam u dobru utrku – ustvrdio je Parchment po dolasku u Zagreb. 

Ugrožen Bolt

Na zagrebački miting stiže i Trayvon Bromell, najbrži sprinter sezone. Njegova nazočnost na stadionu Mladosti sugerira da je ugrožen i aktualni rekord mitinga (9.85), kojega je 2011. postavio legendarni Usain Bolt.

- Mislim da će rekord biti na kušnji, jer ima nas više koji smo trčali brže ove sezone. Ovakvi mitinzi su zabavni, jer nismo fokusirani isključivo na rezultat nego i na izvedbu, a to je dobro kada se želi napraviti nešto više – najavio je Bromell.

Prošle su sezone Britanci osvojili prva tri mjesta u utrci na 800 metara. I ove će ih godine biti trojica u konkurenciji, ali prema listi ‘’uzvanika’’ teško je očekivati lanjski epilog. A novi menadžer mitinga Alfons Juck predviđa kako će ovo biti ‘’najjača utrka na 800 metara u povijesti mitinga’’. 

- Da nije Zagreba, vjerojatno bih ranije završio sezonu, no ovdje se uvijek rado vraćam. Po startnoj listi ne mislim da će biti jurnjave, jer poprilično smo umorni, ali nikad se zna tko može eksplodirati – smatra Amel Tuka, reprezentativac BiH, svjetski doprvak i redoviti sudionik zagrebačkog mitinga.

Ugrožen svjetski rekord na 2000 m

Premda je zakoračio u osmo desetljeće postojanja Memorijal Borisa Hanžekovića nikada nije upisao – svjetski rekord. Ove godine utrka na 2.000 metara za žene procijenjena je kao disciplina, koja bi trebala promijeniti povijest. Na startu će biti Francine Niyonsaba, Freweyni  Gebreezibeher, Mercy Cherono, Meraf Bahta... Također i dvije trkačice ‘’pacemakerice’’ koje bi trebale diktirati ritam za svjetski rekord.

Olimpijski i svjetski prvaci jamče spektakl na 71. Hanžekovićevom memorijalu: ‘Rušit ćemo rekorde!‘

Olimpijski pobjednici, svjetski prvaci, osvajači Dijamantne lige... Prema ugledu i formi sudionika 71. Memorijala Borisa Hanžekovića, ovogodišnji bi zagrebački atletski miting rezultatima mogao doseći status – najboljeg u povijesti.

Tradicionalno, bacanje diska biti će u fokusu zagrebačke publike. Posebice zbog Sandre Perković, kojoj u Zagreb dolazi Amerikanka Valarie Allman, aktualna pobjednica Dijamantne lige i vlasnica olimpijskog zlata. 

- Veselim se nastupu. Bilo je uzbudljivo u zadnje vrijeme između Allman i mene, ali ja se nadam da ću iskoristiti prednost domaćeg terena. Nisam u formi kao na Igrama u Tokiju, ali ako se sve poklopi disk će letjeti daleko. Konkurencija sve nas čini boljima. Nije to samo Allman, već i  Kubanke i druge… Puno sam postigla za 12 godina. Tokio...
