Velike nagrade Njemačke, Nizozemske i Finske Svjetskog prvenstva u motociklizmu za najjači razred MotoGP otkazane su zbog pandemije izazvane širenjem novog koronavirusa, ali organizatori se i dalje nadaju mogućem početku sezone u srpnju na europskom tlu.

Nizozemski Assen je od 1949. bio mjesto na kojem su se motociklisti borili za bodove, ali je koronavirus prekinuo taj rekordni niz.

"S velikom tugom moramo objaviti otkazivanje tri vrlo važne Velike nagrade u MotoGP kalendaru", izjavio je u srijedu Carmelo Ezpeleta glavni operativac tvrtke Dorna koja je nositelj prava na MotoGP utrke.

"Svaku od te tri utrke je jako teško organizirati bez gledatelja. Zato smo, u dogovoru s lokalnim organizatorima, odlučili sve odgoditi do sljedeće godine, umjesto odgode za neki novi datum u ovoj", dodao je Ezpeleta koji je još uvijek optimističan u najavama da će sezona početi krajem srpnja, iako je prva sljedeća utrka prema originalnom kalendaru bila predviđena za 9. kolovoza u Brnu.

"Naša je ideja početi kraje srpnja. Gdje i kojeg datuma, to još moramo odlučiti", izjavio je Ezpeleta te dodao:

"Uvjereni smo da će početak sezone biti u Europi te da ćemo imati utrke od srpnja do studenoga, a potom ćemo vidjeti može li se neka od utrka koje nisu u Europi održati i nakon studenoga."

U slučaju da do tada ne bude moguće putovati izvan Europe prema drugim kontinentima, u vodstvu MotoGP-a se nadaju da će svejedno uspjeti održati 10 do 12 natjecanja.

U novom kalendaru je nakon četiri otkazane utrke ostalo 12 natjecanja te još četiri odgođene Velike nagrade. Među mogućih 16 natjecanja, četiri bi ugostila Španjolska, dvije Velike nagrade su na tlu Italije, a po jedna u Velikoj Britaniji, Češkoj, Francuskoj i Austriji. Ezpeleta kaže da bi se na nekim stazama moglo voziti dva vikenda zaredom.

Naravno, jedina opcija za početak MotoGP sezone u srpnju su utrke bez gledatelja uz stazu te uz stroge zaštitne mjere. Zato je kupljeno 10.000 testova kojima će se povjeravati zdravstveno stanje svih uključenih u natjecanje i organizaciju prije utrke i po povratku kućama.

Organizatori očekuju da će na svakoj utrci biti uključeno oko 1.600 osoba, s time da će u tvorničkim momčadima biti dopušteno ukupno 40 ljudi, dok će se nezavisne ekipe morati snaći sa 25 osoba. Za Moto2 ekipe taj će broj biti 20, a za Moto3 najviše 15 osoba. Prema sadašnjem planu novinarima neće biti dopušten dolazak na stazu, uz koju će biti tek nekolicina fotoreportera i članovi televizijske ekipe.

Velike nagrade Njemačke, Nizozemske i Finske Svjetskog prvenstva u motociklizmu za najjači razred MotoGP otkazane su zbog pandemije izazvane širenjem novog koronavirusa, ali organizatori se i dalje nadaju mogućem početku sezone u srpnju na europskom tlu.

Nizozemski Assen je od 1949. bio mjesto na kojem su se motociklisti borili za bodove, ali je koronavirus prekinuo taj rekordni niz.

"S velikom tugom moramo objaviti otkazivanje tri vrlo važne Velike nagrade u MotoGP kalendaru", izjavio je u srijedu Carmelo Ezpeleta glavni operativac tvrtke Dorna koja je nositelj prava na MotoGP utrke.

"Svaku od te tri utrke je jako teško organizirati bez gledatelja. Zato smo, u dogovoru s lokalnim organizatorima, odlučili sve odgoditi do sljedeće godine, umjesto odgode za neki novi datum u ovoj", dodao je Ezpeleta koji je još uvijek optimističan u najavama da će sezona početi krajem srpnja, iako je prva sljedeća utrka prema originalnom kalendaru bila predviđena za 9. kolovoza u Brnu.

"Naša je ideja početi kraje srpnja. Gdje i kojeg datuma, to još moramo odlučiti", izjavio je Ezpeleta te dodao:

"Uvjereni smo da će početak sezone biti u Europi te da ćemo imati utrke od srpnja do studenoga, a potom ćemo vidjeti može li se neka od utrka koje nisu u Europi održati i nakon studenoga."

U slučaju da do tada ne bude moguće putovati izvan Europe prema drugim kontinentima, u vodstvu MotoGP-a se nadaju da će svejedno uspjeti održati 10 do 12 natjecanja.

U novom kalendaru je nakon četiri otkazane utrke ostalo 12 natjecanja te još četiri odgođene Velike nagrade. Među mogućih 16 natjecanja, četiri bi ugostila Španjolska, dvije Velike nagrade su na tlu Italije, a po jedna u Velikoj Britaniji, Češkoj, Francuskoj i Austriji. Ezpeleta kaže da bi se na nekim stazama moglo voziti dva vikenda zaredom.

Naravno, jedina opcija za početak MotoGP sezone u srpnju su utrke bez gledatelja uz stazu te uz stroge zaštitne mjere. Zato je kupljeno 10.000 testova kojima će se povjeravati zdravstveno stanje svih uključenih u natjecanje i organizaciju prije utrke i po povratku kućama.

Organizatori očekuju da će na svakoj utrci biti uključeno oko 1.600 osoba, s time da će u tvorničkim momčadima biti dopušteno ukupno 40 ljudi, dok će se nezavisne ekipe morati snaći sa 25 osoba. Za Moto2 ekipe taj će broj biti 20, a za Moto3 najviše 15 osoba. Prema sadašnjem planu novinarima neće biti dopušten dolazak na stazu, uz koju će biti tek nekolicina fotoreportera i članovi televizijske ekipe.

Otkazane tri vrlo važne Velike nagrade u MotoGP kalendaru, organizatori se nadaju startu sezone u srpnju

Velike nagrade Njemačke, Nizozemske i Finske Svjetskog prvenstva u motociklizmu za najjači razred MotoGP otkazane su zbog pandemije izazvane širenjem novog koronavirusa, ali organizatori se i dalje nadaju mogućem početku sezone u srpnju na europskom tlu.

Nizozemski Assen je od 1949. bio mjesto na kojem su se motociklisti borili za bodove, ali je koronavirus prekinuo taj rekordni niz.

"S velikom tugom moramo objaviti otkazivanje tri vrlo važne Velike nagrade u MotoGP kalendaru", izjavio je u srijedu Carmelo Ezpeleta glavni operativac tvrtke Dorna koja je nositelj prava na MotoGP utrke.

"Svaku od te tri utrke je jako teško organizirati bez gledatelja. Zato smo, u dogovoru s lokalnim organizatorima, odlučili sve odgoditi do sljedeće godine, umjesto odgode za neki novi datum u ovoj", d...
