Hrvatska atletičarka Petra Štruklec osvojila je brončanu medalju u bacanju kugle u kategoriji atletičarki niskim rastom na Europskom atletskom prvenstvu za osobe s invaliditetom u Berlinu.

Mlada 17-godišnja učenica srednje tehničke škole Faust Vrančić i članica AKOSI Agram iz Zagreba je osvojila broncu bacivši kuglu 4.83 metara što je njezin najbolji rezultat ove sezone. 

"Ovaj uspjeh me izuzetno obradovao, vrijedilo je naporno trenirati s trenerom Antom Pavkovićem. Svaki dan sam nakon škole trenirala i po tri sata dnevno, a potom učila. I tako iz dana u dan," kazala je Petra koja se atletikom bavi tri godine.

Druga je bila Nizozemka Lara Baars s rezultatom 6.78 metara, dok je zlato s novim svjetskim rekordom osvojila Poljakinja Renata Sliwinska bacivši kuglu 8.50 metara. Poljakinja je popravila dosadašnji rekord Nigerijke Lauritte Onye za deset centimetara.

"Iako sam na prvi pogled različita od mojih vršnjaka, bavljenje atletikom me je toliko ispunilo i dalo mi veliki impuls da se dokažem da i ja mogu. Jedva čekam vratiti se kući i svoju sreću podijeliti sa mojim roditeljima," poručila je Štruklec koja je osvojila treću medalju za Hrvatsku u Berlinu nakon što je Deni Černi u utorak osvojio srebrnu medalju u bacanju kugle, dok je Miljenko Vučić, također u bacanju kugle osvojio broncu.

Hrvatska atletičarka Petra Štruklec osvojila je brončanu medalju u bacanju kugle u kategoriji atletičarki niskim rastom na Europskom atletskom prvenstvu za osobe s invaliditetom u Berlinu.

Mlada 17-godišnja učenica srednje tehničke škole Faust Vrančić i članica AKOSI Agram iz Zagreba je osvojila broncu bacivši kuglu 4.83 metara što je njezin najbolji rezultat ove sezone. 

"Ovaj uspjeh me izuzetno obradovao, vrijedilo je naporno trenirati s trenerom Antom Pavkovićem. Svaki dan sam nakon škole trenirala i po tri sata dnevno, a potom učila. I tako iz dana u dan," kazala je Petra koja se atletikom bavi tri godine.

Druga je bila Nizozemka Lara Baars s rezultatom 6.78 metara, dok je zlato s novim svjetskim rekordom osvojila Poljakinja Renata Sliwinska bacivši kuglu 8.50 metara. Poljakinja je popravila dosadašnji rekord Nigerijke Lauritte Onye za deset centimetara.

"Iako sam na prvi pogled različita od mojih vršnjaka, bavljenje atletikom me je toliko ispunilo i dalo mi veliki impuls da se dokažem da i ja mogu. Jedva čekam vratiti se kući i svoju sreću podijeliti sa mojim roditeljima," poručila je Štruklec koja je osvojila treću medalju za Hrvatsku u Berlinu nakon što je Deni Černi u utorak osvojio srebrnu medalju u bacanju kugle, dok je Miljenko Vučić, također u bacanju kugle osvojio broncu.

Hrvatska atletičarka Petra Štruklec osvojila je brončanu medalju u bacanju kugle u kategoriji atletičarki niskim rastom na Europskom atletskom prvenstvu za osobe s invaliditetom u Berlinu.
