Sjajan nastup u pariškom Bercyju ostvario je najbolji hrvatski judaš Zlatko Kumrić.

Na najvećem i najpoznatijem turniru u svijetu, a pariški Grand Slam je za judaše isto što i Wimbledon za tenisače, popularni Aurelius je ostvario četiri velike pobjede i stigao na korak do bronce, ali su ga dva poraza na kraju smjestila na petu poziciju. Što je također bomba od rezultata.  

Kumrić nije puno nastupao zadnju godinu dana, imao je dosta problema s ozljedama, pa nastupa, pobjeda i bodova nije bilo previše. Osjetilo se to i na rankingu, pa je s 28. mjesta svjetske liste skliznuo na 45. poziciju kategorije do sto kila. 

Međutim, u Parizu je zabljesnuo, s četiri ippona redom rušio Amerikanca Nathaniela Keevea, Portugalca Jorgea Fonsecu (!), zatim Ivana Remarenca iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, te Francuza Alexandrea Iddira. 

Na putu do polufinala porazio ga je aktualni prvak svijeta Južnokorejanac Guham Cho, te u borbi za broncu Izraelac Peter Paltchik. 

Osim što je nanizao četiri sjajne pobjede pred 14.000 gledatelja u Bercyju, član splitskog kluba Student je pokazao da su ozljede prošlost i da je spreman za velike stvari. U Parizu je, na velikoj sceni, porazio petoga sa svjetske liste (Fonseca), a u ravnopravnim borbama “za dlaku” izgubio od drugog (Paltchik) i trećeg na svijetu (Cho).  To je sami svjetski vrh.

Koji sat nakon što je Grand Slam završio Kumrić nije bio pretjerano zadovoljan (“već tri puta sam peti u Parizu”), želio je medalju. No, kada prespava i vrati se u Split, shvatit će koliko je dobar rezultat napravio. Dokazao je sebi i treneru Tomislavu Marijanoviću da je ravnopravan svjetskoj kremi, da može dobiti bilo koga iz Top 5 najboljih boraca! Bravo Zlatko!

Blizu borbe za medalju bila je i Splićanka Barbara Matić (do 70 kg) koja je do četvrtfinala rušila Belgijanku Taeymans, Južnokorejanku Kim i Brazilku Santanu, ali je tu zaustavila domaća predstavnica Pinot, a potom i Marokanka Niang.

Sjajan nastup u pariškom Bercyju ostvario je najbolji hrvatski judaš Zlatko Kumrić.

Na najvećem i najpoznatijem turniru u svijetu, a pariški Grand Slam je za judaše isto što i Wimbledon za tenisače, popularni Aurelius je ostvario četiri velike pobjede i stigao na korak do bronce, ali su ga dva poraza na kraju smjestila na petu poziciju. Što je također bomba od rezultata.  

Kumrić nije puno nastupao zadnju godinu dana, imao je dosta problema s ozljedama, pa nastupa, pobjeda i bodova nije bilo previše. Osjetilo se to i na rankingu, pa je s 28. mjesta svjetske liste skliznuo na 45. poziciju kategorije do sto kila. 

Međutim, u Parizu je zabljesnuo, s četiri ippona redom rušio Amerikanca Nathaniela Keevea, Portugalca Jorgea Fonsecu (!), zatim Ivana Remarenca iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, te Francuza Alexandrea Iddira. 

Na putu do polufinala porazio ga je aktualni prvak svijeta Južnokorejanac Guham Cho, te u borbi za broncu Izraelac Peter Paltchik. 

Osim što je nanizao četiri sjajne pobjede pred 14.000 gledatelja u Bercyju, član splitskog kluba Student je pokazao da su ozljede prošlost i da je spreman za velike stvari. U Parizu je, na velikoj sceni, porazio petoga sa svjetske liste (Fonseca), a u ravnopravnim borbama “za dlaku” izgubio od drugog (Paltchik) i trećeg na svijetu (Cho).  To je sami svjetski vrh.

Koji sat nakon što je Grand Slam završio Kumrić nije bio pretjerano zadovoljan (“već tri puta sam peti u Parizu”), želio je medalju. No, kada prespava i vrati se u Split, shvatit će koliko je dobar rezultat napravio. Dokazao je sebi i treneru Tomislavu Marijanoviću da je ravnopravan svjetskoj kremi, da može dobiti bilo koga iz Top 5 najboljih boraca! Bravo Zlatko!

Blizu borbe za medalju bila je i Splićanka Barbara Matić (do 70 kg) koja je do četvrtfinala rušila Belgijanku Taeymans, Južnokorejanku Kim i Brazilku Santanu, ali je tu zaustavila domaća predstavnica Pinot, a potom i Marokanka Niang.
