 |
Veljano će u disciplini No Limit-NLT ( ronilac zaranja uz pomoć utega, a izranja metodom po svom odabiru, najčešće je to balon ili ronilački prsluk) pokušati zaroniti na dubinu od 101 metra, te tako postati prvi Hrvat koji je probio magičnu granicu od stotinu metara.
- Iako smo sve ovo planirali organizirati na otoku Svecu (sv. Andrija), odakle potiče moja obitelj Zanki, zbog udaljenosti od Komiže i sigurnosnih uvjeta, morali smo se odlučiti za bližu i sigurniju lokaciju, ali i zbog velikog interesa gledatelja kojima će lokacija kod Stupišća biti puno bliža - rekao nam je Zanki.
Osim u disciplini No Limit, Veljano se sprema oboriti rekorde u disciplinama Free Immersion-FIM (natjecatelj zaranja i izranja povlačeći se po konopu bez uporabe potiskujuće opreme), Variable Weight -VWT (riječ je o uronu s promjenljivim opterećenjem pri kojem ronilac zaranja uz pomoć utega, koristeći se pri tome rukama ili nogama, bilo povlačenjem po konopu ili bez povlačenja) i na kraju u disciplini Constant Weigh.
- Cijelo ljeto treniram 4 do 5 sati dnevno, želim roniti sve dublje i dublje - kaže Veljano, te dodaje:
- Iako sam svjestan visokih ciljeva koje sam si zadao, vjerujem da ću uspjeti i da će sve biti OK.
Inače, Zanki roni od malih nogu, ali se tek posljednje dvije godine aktivno bavi ronjenjem, a već je postigao niz zapaženih rezultata. Još uvijek je aktualni hrvatski rekorder u disciplini CWT( 80 metara).
Sama organizacija je dosta komplicirana, a kako bi sve proteklo u najboljem redu pomagat će mu prijatelji ronioci iz Komiže i ljudi na pratećem brodu koji će biti zaduženi za sigurnost.
Također, uz predstavnike medija i kamere će snimati tijek rušenja rekorda, a pokušaje obaranja rekorda nadzirat će i dvojica nacionalnih sudaca kako bi sve bilo po AIDA pravilima i kako bi rezultati bili priznati.

Članovi udruge (AIDA reprezentacija) već nekoliko godina za redom ostvaruju odlične rezultate, kako na domaćoj, tako i na svjetskoj razini.
Najveći izazov za Veljana zasigurno će biti pokušaj rušenja rekorda u disciplini Constant Weight -CWT(ronilac zaranja i izranja koristeći peraje/monoperaju ili uz pomoć ruku, bez povlačenja po konopu ili promjene opterećenja) gdje bi trebao zaroniti na 100 metara, čime bi postao sedmi čovjek na svijetu kojem bi to uspjelo u ovoj disciplini, a ovu bi godinu završio kao četvrti ili peti na AIDA-oj ljestvici.

Veljano će u disciplini No Limit-NLT ( ronilac zaranja uz pomoć utega, a izranja metodom po svom odabiru, najčešće je to balon ili ronilački prsluk) pokušati zaroniti na dubinu od 101 metra, te tako postati prvi Hrvat koji je probio magičnu granicu od stotinu metara.
- Iako smo sve ovo planirali organizirati na otoku Svecu (sv. Andrija), odakle potiče moja obitelj Zanki, zbog udaljenosti od Komiže i sigurnosnih uvjeta, morali smo se odlučiti za bližu i sigurniju lokaciju, ali i zbog velikog interesa gledatelja kojima će lokacija kod Stupišća biti puno bliža - rekao nam je Zanki.
Osim u disciplini No Limit, Veljano se sprema oboriti rekorde u disciplinama Free Immersion-FIM (natjecatelj zaranja i izranja povlačeći se po konopu bez uporabe potiskujuće opreme), Variable Weight -VWT (riječ je o uronu s promjenljivim opterećenjem pri kojem ronilac zaranja uz pomoć utega, koristeći se pri tome rukama ili nogama, bilo povlačenjem po konopu ili bez povlačenja) i na kraju u disciplini Constant Weigh.
- Cijelo ljeto treniram 4 do 5 sati dnevno, želim roniti sve dublje i dublje - kaže Veljano, te dodaje:
- Iako sam svjestan visokih ciljeva koje sam si zadao, vjerujem da ću uspjeti i da će sve biti OK.
Inače, Zanki roni od malih nogu, ali se tek posljednje dvije godine aktivno bavi ronjenjem, a već je postigao niz zapaženih rezultata. Još uvijek je aktualni hrvatski rekorder u disciplini CWT( 80 metara).
Sama organizacija je dosta komplicirana, a kako bi sve proteklo u najboljem redu pomagat će mu prijatelji ronioci iz Komiže i ljudi na pratećem brodu koji će biti zaduženi za sigurnost.
Također, uz predstavnike medija i kamere će snimati tijek rušenja rekorda, a pokušaje obaranja rekorda nadzirat će i dvojica nacionalnih sudaca kako bi sve bilo po AIDA pravilima i kako bi rezultati bili priznati.

Članovi udruge (AIDA reprezentacija) već nekoliko godina za redom ostvaruju odlične rezultate, kako na domaćoj, tako i na svjetskoj razini.
Najveći izazov za Veljana zasigurno će biti pokušaj rušenja rekorda u disciplini Constant Weight -CWT(ronilac zaranja i izranja koristeći peraje/monoperaju ili uz pomoć ruku, bez povlačenja po konopu ili promjene opterećenja) gdje bi trebao zaroniti na 100 metara, čime bi postao sedmi čovjek na svijetu kojem bi to uspjelo u ovoj disciplini, a ovu bi godinu završio kao četvrti ili peti na AIDA-oj ljestvici.
